This place has the best donut holes that I’ve ever tasted! I also love their coconut donuts and their cake donuts! Great place!

Nice workers, great food. Wide variety, even later in the day. Donuts always taste fresh. Love the kolaches and the white cream filled donuts. About half the price of Shipley’s (they taste better, too!).

Tasty donuts! I enjoyed the cruellar donuts as well as the cake donuts and apple fritter. Tasted fresh and weren’t too sweet. Donuts were light in color and had a nice appeal to them. This place has been apart of my neighborhood for many years, and I finally made a chance to try them. Was pleasantly surprised, and will definitely grab donuts from here for future gatherings and such.

I have been to a few gourmet donut places, and I will begin that this place is not one of them.
What it is though, is a small, family-​run business that puts out fresh and consistent donuts every single morning. They have your usual flavors of cruellers and old fashioned donuts, and they have croissant sandwiches and the ever popular, kolaches!
Everything comes fresh and they people are so nice! They only open until 1PM and they are always out of donuts! Like I said, you don’t come here for cornets, but you come here if you want something sweet with your coffee.
They will start your morning off right!

Houston, TX
No longer Southern Maid Donuts, now called «Best Donuts». They say the recipe is the same, but I could taste the difference. Their donuts are now a little crispier and the texture is a little more rougher. Still good donuts, but not the Southern Maid I know
