I live in the community around the ASHFORD point and brant rock area. When i first moved here the area looked decent but after 2 years living here and the current incidents happening here, i am ready to move. The apartments around us are filled with hoodlums. Without goin into much details, i was a victim of a buglary in the month of june. We have security issues here, the fencing is not adequate to keep hoodlums from harassing and casing the neighborhood for vacant homes. We lack camera, security personnel, and and gate around the community. There have been 4 – 5 break-ins in the months of may and june 2016 a d cammillo properties has no answers for us as residents, one of my neighbors recently moved out because he didnt want to put the kids in danger of a home invasion. Its definitely not worth the headaches that come with leaving your house daily and wondering if someone has broken into your living space.

As long as you are renting, I guess they are ok. Not everything that needs fixing or completed gets done. i have a shelf that was not finished out and they could care less. Sounds stupid, but that is just one of many things. I have a backyard that has yet to be dry a day in it’s life and they could care less. The landscaping is done horrible, my backyard look like a pool! In the front yard, there are pipes showing everywhere — since they are not doing anything about it, my guess is they don’t care. When they close ticket(maintenance request) they do so without checking with you to ensure any work has been done. I have only gotten 1 call from them and it was to let me know that the house I moved into, a new house — that didn’t have everything completed, won’t be completed. ex: missing shelves, drawers that open — ugh! So glad this is only until I finish building my house!

Where to start… between the three people we were in contact with at one point or another(Becky, Brylee, and Jennifer), the«customer service» was horrible to say the least. After almost a month of dealing with this company we have decided to look elsewhere and strongly encourage others to do so as well. The house itself was great, but after we were approved we were told that basically to move in it was going to cost $ 5,000. We thought maybe this was misinformation, so when my wife called to verify this she was greeted with rudeness and told to take it or leave it. If that’s the price and it is what it is then that’s fine, but don’t try to get an insult in by saying that my wife who makes over $ 80K/year by herself doesn’t make enough to pay for a $ 1,300 rent house AFTER she’s already been approved. If you choose to deal with this company just prepare yourself to send multiple emails with no response, not have your calls returned, and fax or email your forms numerous times because the default response is «we didn’t get them.» This experience was a huge waste of our time.

This is by far one of the worst customer service experiences ever. Phone call, emails, and text messages are rarely responded to. I have only dealt with one leasing agent, but her behavior does not say much about what to expect from others in that office. Nice homes from the company, READEVERYTHINGCAREFULLYBEFORESIGNING, and do business at your own risk. Would not recommend

These guys have a great system in place for those people looking to rent a house versus a basic apartment. For the same price as an OK apartment, they have houses in some great up and coming neighborhoods.
