Chan Edward MD 20-20 Eye Clinic & Optical

I have been to ²⁰⁄₂₀ in the Café East shopping center one other time before, but I was hoping that visit was just a chance occurance. The first experience was unpleasant — it took me over 2 hrs on my lunch break just to get my eyes checked for a prescription for new contacts (just ordering them not picking them up). I only saw the doctor for 3 minutes though as he seemed rushed to get to the 20 other people in the waiting area.
After talking to a friend that does clerical work for them — it turns out that they double book every time slot to get more people through the door. Apparently everyone waits 2 hours here. I walked out today after waiting 90minutes in their 2^nd waiting room. I’m sure this has happened to them before. I originally chose this place because i had no other recommendation and my friend worked there. Not a huge deal — just wasted my time. I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone that has a car and can drive down the street for another optometrist.
