I’m torn because the lady, I think her name was Marcie, that does the cooking and other kitchen coordinating is really nice but her husband who runs the rest of the show and the front is a complete racist jerk and a half.
Was shopping for a caterer for the holiday party and saw this place across the parking lot from the café we were having lunch at. Figured let’s stop by on the way out and see what was up. Was initially pleased with the smell… then quickly realized the overdose of butter. Something about butter that is like crack for the smelling sense. Like I said the lady was real nice but then deferred to her husband when I asked to speak with someone about pricing.
He came out from the back and greeted us then gave us an up and down look. He said, «It’s noisy in here lets talk outside.» It was a bit noisy due to the kitchen being open to the front so we obliged. What happened next was he led us out then said, «We don’t need your kind here please don’t come back». I know there are rules about expletive language so fill in the blank on your own as you read this. If he has a problem with Asians then he is living in the wrong part of then because Asians are the fastest growing demographic in Fort Bend County.
Chef For You recently changed their name to Henhouse Catering. My only hope is that she got rid of that guy.
