Omg the absolute best place to eat out! I can come here every day and not get bored from their food because you can make something different every time. Super fun and tasty also affordable!

Okay so can you say perfect accident. Had a meeting at the sushi place next door, decided to change last minute and it was right next door. Amazing bartender and great margaritas and the food was absolutely perfect, the stir fry choices were amazing the tilapia is very well seasoned and every choice of seasoning and spices u can think of. And all for a great price. Been back 3 times. 100%

Have been here twice, for lunch the service was awesome and the food was amazing! Marvin really is the best server! I was so excited I took my family in for dinner a few days later, they love ghengis grill but in my opinion kublai Khan tastes better. What a difference. I was disappointed for dinner. Our food came out before our appetizers, which our waitress had forgotten. My young son’s food was the last to arrive and he ate half of my dinner before his arrived, then didn’t want his, so we paid for a kids meal that didn’t get eaten. The waitress wasn’t rude really but continually lingered by the table to join in and then take over our conversation. It was very awkward as we do not know her and we’re trying to discuss family matters over dinner. I perhaps will be back if Marvin is there, but do not see myself gong back for dinner.

I came here during happy hour on a Thursday. The place was empty, but we had great service and Happy Hour was till 6pm which is nice. The apps are a nice portion and the stir fry is as good as you make it, so if it sucks, it’s likely on you. :) I will be back.

The food quality has never been the best. The amount of starch is always limited. If you get a lot of meat and toppings they tend to skimp you on the starch. I don’t mind it usually but for some reason I really noticed it today. The only thing I loved was the gorgeous waitress. Although she never came to my table I was hoping she would.

Ok, first off, the food is as good as you can make it. And mine was awesome. Now to the reason I’m writing the review. The service… I eat out about 3 times a week, and Marvin is by far the best server in the city. My family and I are amazed with his awesomeness!!! We will be back. overall an a very fun night. When you come, be sure to ask for him.

Love this place. I have been here twice with friends and their food is always well prepared. I do know how to combine seasonings and spices so this place works well for me in deciding what i want in my food instead of an already prepared meal. Always busy during lunch but they bring out your meal pretty quick. I had enough food left to do a take out. Will go back.

Great food, best Mongolian stir fry in the sugar land area(beats out the nearby Genghis Grill in my opinion), however, service absolute sucks. Each time the experience just made everything awkward.

Place is as good as usual. And as good as you make it. Hard to say its bad food when you build it. Friendly staff and quick for lunch. Will Definitely be back.

I really like this place, especially if I follow the recipe cards instead of trying to be cool and figure out something good. I usually fail if I try lol. It’s always pretty good if you don’t screw up your food.

Three days later, I tried to give this place another chance. I went at night, which I have never done before. I was seated right away, and the server took my drink order an unsweet tea. I went and created my bowl, and delivered it to the cooks. Upon arriving back at my table, I noticed my drink had not yet arrived. When my drink finally did arrive, I noticed right away just by the first the color of it and then the taste of it that it was sweet tea. Major problem, as I am a diabetic. I tried for several minutes to get my server’s attention, and finally I was able to tell the server the mistake. I finished my bowl before the server bothered to return with my unsweet tea, and then waited 10 long minutes until she returned and I asked her for a check. The server never offered me a drink to go, which is their usual business practice. If I could rate this location a half a star I would.

So now I ask you, how could you find a better place for a quick lunch? It’s not Thai, not Chinese, but maybe the best of both!!! If you like stir-fry then you have to love this place, and if you don’t like the flavor, then change it tomorrow since they offer a smörgåsbord of flavor and spice to choose from. If you don’t like this place, What-a-Burger is across the way for bland and tasteless delight!

Came the first time and I hated it hahahaha but it was so my fault for adding too many sauces and spices I was excited and got carried away. Well this time I actually followed the recipe cards they have. I stuck to one recipe and that’s what I recommend. You can always add more sauce if you feel your meal doesn’t have enough. The customer service is excellent and you get to enjoy 80s music which gives it points for awesomeness looks like the more you come the better it is.

This was my first time trying out one of these Mongolian stirfry places and I would say that it was very pleasant! They were good about refilling ingredients and everything looked very fresh. Even my friends who weren’t sure about what to mix in their bowl were able to come up with good combinations because of all the options that were available. Halal meats for those of you that care for that type of thing! The only thing that I didn’t like was I couldn’t replace my starch for extra vegetables. On the menu it says you can sub for a salad but the cook didn’t allow me to do that when I asked. The service was pretty good for lunch rush and I do plan on coming back soon!

Like other reviewers said, you can’t really blame anyone but yourself if your food turns out badly since you put it together. It was my first time here, and I really enjoyed it. The only complaints I really have are concerning the cleanliness of the seafood and freshness of the meats. I’d recommend avoiding the seafood here, especially the shrimp. It’s not deveined and it didn’t taste very cooked through or fresh. Like some other reviewers said, you also don’t know how long the meats have been sitting out and the chicken looks kind of sketchy.(lol). Service was pretty slow and it seemed like there were only 3 employees working, so it was really hard to get our waitress’s attention, but she was very apologetic and did her best. However, if we did not wave her over, we would have waited a food hour plus for our checks. No biggie — it was a busy night. There are definitely more pros than cons. They offer halal meat, and you can get a «bottomless» bowl for $ 4 more during dinner. They have a good selection of oils, vegetables, spices, and sauces, and also have recipe cards if you aren’t sure of what you’d like. I really liked that they also had little spoons to try the sauces. Easy process and food comes quickly. They’re offering a soup option right now for $ 2 extra I believe. My combo: Chicken, two spoonfuls of garlic(TRUSTME), fresh button mushrooms, green onions, fried tofu, broccoli, two jalapeño slices, a pinch of cilantro, half a spoon of garlic and onion powder, and peanuts. For sauce I used half a cup of General Tao’s, half a cup of Jamaican Jerk, and a sample spoonful of chili paste and finished it off with Shanghai noodles for my starch. Try it out! I’ll be back!

The one thing that stood out to me the most about this place is that they don’t offer you a separate container for your raw meat to go in. They give you 1 bowl and have you put all your veggies and raw meat together. I’ve been to other Kulai Khan locations where they give you a separate bowl for your meat. Makes me kinda worry about salmonella.

Similar to genghis grill, but the service here is far superior. At least when compared to the one in sugar land. They did up the buffet to an additional $ 4 however =\

I was brought here by some fan of this place, who can eat here two days in a row lol. And it turned out this happened for a reason. I always have difficulty making decisions, big or small. So I can spend a lot of time in a place like this, where they leave every choice to the customer themselves… Good thing is there wasn’t a long line so I can take however much time I needed. Protein-Veggie-Dry seasoning-Sauce-Starch, that’s the order to make your dish. I like the decent selection of protein they have, which include meat, poultry, seafood, and egg. The lamb was our favorite. For veggie, there’s a huge selection with veggie, fruit, and even five-spice tofu cubes. Though I’ll never include mango in my stir-fry, but it’s nice to see it here anyways… And for starch, they offer different kinds of noodles and rice. We both like the Shanghai Noodle. It’s thick and made with flour and eggs, which would be perfect for stir-fry. Seasoning is the most interesting(and scary) part as the whole dish kind of depend on what you pick here. The restaurant offers recommendation such as what’s good for meat and what’s good for seafood, but you can always create your own. My combination for lunch was garlic, ginger, curry, black pepper, soy sauce, teriyaki, mongolian BBQ. It turned out good. The bf loves their Sichuan sauce, which adds to the spiciness and the unique Sichuan cuisine flavor. The portion was large and service is nice. The dining experience was pretty good. Not a really fancy place but great for a casual and creative meal. Will keep coming back:)
