Sonic Drive-In

Usually, I’d avoid the sonic on highway 6 and west airport and come to this location for a better experience. Sadly, this spot has fallen to poor management and horrible customer service. I ordered two route 44 cherry limeades, one medium strawberry limeade and a small peanut butter shake. Sounds simple enough doesn’t it? Apparently, it was a nuclear equation for the folks at this location. They came back with two chocolate shakes and a medium cherry limeade. How sway? Needless to say, I didn’t want to deal with people who couldn’t take a simple order. I just left with the wrong order and a lesson to never go to a sonic drive in around this area ever again.

I Waited 20 minutes waiting to place my order. There were 2 other cars in the whole lot and they still failed to take my order.

I have been here several times. Typically slow service and I have gotten the wrong order on a few occasions. I just don’t understand how it takes 20 minutes to get me a coke when the place is empty.

Horrible service & orders are ALWAYS wrong. Save yourself time & money & drive a little further down Westheimer & go to a different Sonic.

Lunch time rings the bell when it comes to Sonic’s Happy Hour for drinks and more. I believe we had a little bit of everything that day, onion rings, a hamburger, tater tots, french fries, and I thought this location had nice customer service in comparison to the other Sonic’s I’ve been. Drive thru dine in is fun!

Sonic is decent food for fast food. This location is the preferred one for those few times we think of Sonic.
For one, the employees are friendly and actually listen and follow through with your order and get it correct. Food is out in a timely manner and you can be on your way.
The chili cheeseburger is pretty good from here as are the hot dogs The chili cheese tots always satisfy caloric cravings and the fudge brownie molten cake sundae is the perfect way to take the calories to infinity. The food item menu is quite extensive from sandwiches to tacos to hot dogs and side items.
Not to be outdone by food, the drinks are plentiful, too. From sodas to slushies to flavored teas and unsweetened tea, Sonic has a drink for everyone.
The desserts are real ice cream and of course tasty. Whether topped with hot fudge and laden with brownie bits, a milkshake, banana split or any way you order it cold sugary goodness is always perfect.
Friendliness in service and efficient, correct orders are always appreciated and makes this Sonic A-​OK.

Definitely fast food. I usually come here if I have a craving for tater tots, mozzarella sticks, or cherry limeade/​lemon-​berry slush. I’ve had some lukewarm/​mushy tater tots from here before and that makes the meal a lot less appetizing. Their drinks are sweet, but that’s what you ask for when you go to a place like Sonic for a sugar beverage. Go for happy hour between 2−4pm everyday and your drinks will be half off. Service is ok, I bet they’d be faster if the waiters and waitresses were on roller skates though.

Sonic is the king of fast food deserts and drinks. They offer about a million different drinks and a ton of desserts, as well. Despite it being practically next door to me, I don’t go here enough. They have a half price happy hour which I wish I could get more often but I’m not always in the mood for their drinks.
The food here, is usually good but it’s also slightly more expensive than other fast foods. Their value menu is pretty decent which has a handful of selections, though, I only order popcorn chicken when I come here. It always satisfies me and it comes with a generous amount of chicken so I can’t complain about that. I’ve tried a couple of other burgers and they’re your typical fast food burgers.
If you’re looking for a quick stop somewhere to satisfy your sweet tooth, Sonic is the perfect place. If you’re looking for somewhere to get a drink that other places don’t have, Sonic is the place to come. If you’re looking for something that is different from your typical fast food, I’d advise you to go elsewhere.
Overall, Sonic does have some good choices in their menu and, as I’ve already said, they have a huge dessert and drink selection. They definitely don’t rate last compared to other fast foods but their food isn’t the best, either.
