I’m highly disappointed in the classes they offer. They advertise classes for date night, but yet let single people sign up. Unfortunately we didn’t get to go while in Texas since only one seat was available for a «Date Night» class. I suggest if you want to go as a couple, that you sign up 2 weeks in advance to ensure you both have a seat!

Awesome aroma upon walking into this store! Will come in to visit the back room with the cooking class and browse for sure, what a unique selection!

One of my favorite stores because of the wide selection of appliances and speciality goods. Yes their items are a little pricey, but are sometimes well worth the purchase. My FAVORITE thing about this store are the cooking classes they offer. Differentiating classes are available everyday and with some of the best chefs/teachers. Recommendation: Chef Brian, he’s amazing.

They have so much stuff in here but the prices are pretty high sometimes. I like the sale section which was pretty small in this particular store. It was also not very well organized. But it is a fun store to go in and look around.

When you get great customer service you should tell the world! From the moment we entered we were greeted and brought back to look at the mason jars and they didn’t have what we were looking for. We browsed and were approached by Julie in the knife section. This woman knew her stuff and was so passionate about her product. We learned so much in that half an hour. When I started to lose interest the gentleman who approached us(I wish I had caught his name) and offered us a Nespresso. We declined and I jokingly told him they should carry Nespresso pods and he told us they would soon. ROCKEDMYWORLD. He then invited me to see the new Nespresso that makes coffee and demoed the coffee machine. It didn’t feel like a demo it felt like a coffee with a friend. I left knowing a lot more about the products we are interested in and feeling like I had a nice visit in someone’s home rather then shopping.

While thoroughly impressed with all of the wonderful cookware, utensils, etc in Sur la Table I have yet to meet an employee that can answer questions about their products. I was interested in the Sur la Table brand tri ply cookware so my wife and I visited the store on two occasions to have a look at the cookware and ask a few questions and on both occasions neither of the associates were able to answer simply questions about a house brand product! After the store visits I went home and did some research on my own about the cookware and decided that I wanted to purchase he Sur la Table tri ply cookware so I started with the 5qt sauté pan. There was an advertised special on this pan that I received in an email so I purchased it online. My wife and myself fell in love with this pan from the first time that we used it. The even heat distribution from the multiple layers of materials cooks a whole pan full of bacon evenly without any hot spots. It makes great sauces without scorching and the list of uses goes on and on. Did I mention how much we liked the first Sur la Table tri ply pan that we bought? Well, we liked it so much that I returned to the store to buy more however I did not want to purchase one of their bundled sets as I do not need everything that comes with the set. We wanted to purchase separate pieces but the store did not have everything that we wanted in stock so I just went home and ordered it online. I don’t know if I just picked the wrong people to ask questions or if no one has knowledge of the products in the store. Seems to me it is better to do your research and just buy online as I have not encountered anyone in the store that is real serious about customer service.

What a great find right in the heart of Sugar Land Town Square! As someone who truly loves to cook and bake, I was super impressed(and in a good way overwhelmed) with the vast quantity of cookwares and kitchen gadgets I saw. Despite the visual overload, everything was very well organized and easily found. The moment we walked in we were greeted pleasantly and the friendly lady made interesting conversation with us. In fact, every employee was glad to check on us and offer help without any pestering. This place is one of those«kid in a candy store» moments for me. Sur la Table carries baking pans in every shape and size imaginable. Want a standard 9″ x 13″? Got it. A beyond cute decorative mini or standard size Bundt cake, cupcake or muffin tin? Check. Cookie cutters in EVERY design or festive shape? You bet. Pots, pans, ladles, spoons, tongs and grilling accessories are just a drop in the ocean of cookware they have here. Add to that kitchen gadgets from measuring cups and spoons, timers, graters, pie weights and decorative serving ware and these guys have you covered. In need of a new apron? The have many cute styles and sizes. In short, if you need it for the kitchen you’ll find it here. Whew! There’s so many things I couldn’t possible begin to list them all. Just go check this place out for yourself. The coffee and tea lover in me was excited to find amazing quality coffee, espresso and cappuccino machines. Tea pots sold here are cute as well as functional along with accessories for brewing up a relaxing cup. If you enjoy cooking, baking or know someone who does, this place is perfect for a gift for them or you. I do recommend you have some time to spare for looking around since this place stocks a ton of items. I will definitely be coming back to check out all there is as well as purchase some cool and quality products.
