Target

Normally I love this store bc it’s huge and has everything but today I write this review bc I was so annoyed today I pretty much threw a tantrum and walked out yelling. Thursday night, pretty slow. I was in a hurry and grabbed a cheesecake for my husband ‘s bday tonight and some grocery items (broccoli, lettuce, fruits) and got in a line. The line was slow so I moved to the next one, the scale didn’t work for the fruits and veggies I the lady in front of me. The cashier Adanne kept having to go borrow the scale a few register down. Back & forth. This was taking forever so I moved to the next register. How many registers was that now?! So this register, the customer was yapping on her phone and apparently the credit card machine wasn’t working after almost 7 minutes of attempt. Even the cashier was annoyed. I was late for dinner, which I still had to pick up. So I left. That’s right, I left my groceries on the conveyor belt, and walked away. I gave another chance and turned back around as the cashier was putting my groceries away. I asked both cashiers if the scale or credit card was working. Negative. I threw my hands up, waved good bye & told everyone how long I’ve been waiting and walked off. Really?! Really. Why can’t you move and open another register?

Only has 8 registers open a week before Christmas. Long lines to check out. Reminds me of Walmart. I expect more than this from target. No excuses. They have over 20 registers that they could use.

I like this Target and go there often. The location is good for me, and I don’t like to go to Walmart (because I have to park like a mile away and it’s so crowded all the time). It’s clean and the lines at the registers are ok. However, I have gone on a few Sunday afternoon/​evenings, and I would suggest avoiding that time because it can be out of things. Today they didn’t have: big box of chewy granola bars (this has happened 2 times now), the 30 gal. Glad trash bags of the kind I wanted, Perrier lime slim cans, Sprite Cranberry, Tide Original non-​HE, and a GE 3-​outlet adapter w/​light that I have been checking every week when I go and they have been out for like the past month or maybe even 2 months (it seems maybe they have a mistake in inventory and looks like it will never get restocked at this point). So, to me that’s a lot of things that I wanted but they didn’t have. Then I have to remember to get them on my next trip or when I go shopping at a different store, which is annoying. But otherwise, I like everything about this Target. If it wasn’t for the stocking issue, I would have given 5 stars.

Okay — Nice Target location. My only random complaint is that they never have Boca products. :(They have a ton of veganoptions but NO Boca items… very odd.
My real complaint is the terrible produce. Like… it’s always rotten. C’mon Target. I bought a bag of Pink Lady apples and they were straight up spoiled. Also, the produce is usually overpriced IMO.
Very clean, usually super friendly staff. No other complaints. Not the best, not the worst.

I already filed a complaint to Target Resolution. Shoppers BEWARE of the Target in Sugar Land. This location does NOT honor their store policy on price matching and promotions. When it comes to price matching and promotion deals, the customer service seems to hesitate in following their own policy. I had couple of bad experience but this time was the final straw. Target had a promotion online on TMNT buy 1 get 1 50% off Nickelodeon character items. I was not able to purchase the items online or a store pick in any store in Houston. Online noted the TMNT plush was for IN STORE ONLY and not available online. Online did show they have the products at the Sugar Land location. I went to the Target by my house. Took 2 TMNT plush dolls to the customer service. I let the Guest Service know about the promotion and show her my cell. Guest service Jennifer went to check on her tablet for the promotion. Jennifer said she can NOT honor the promotion because it was a sale for online ONLY. I told her she was incorrect because Target website said, «IN STORE ONLY». For some reason the tablet device is not showing her everything. She did not want to use the desktop to pull the website. I’ve been to, many different Target’s in Houston and never had I ever had such a hard time with price matching or promotion deals. This Sugar Land location does not honor their value. I should not have to drive to other Target locations to get price matching or promotion deals. This is not the first time Guest Services have given me such a difficult time in promotion deals on their website. Also this location (manager) only allows 1 item for pricing matching. I understand some people may take advantage of that, but 1 item is not acceptable. I want to see in writing where on the website or behind the receipt say only 1 item is allowed in price matching. Corporate office needs to take a good look at this location. Send secret shopper if you have too. These employees and managers need to be retrain in customer service and following store policy.

I love to come here when I just need to get out of the house. It’s huge and I was pleasantly surprised to find lots of kid friendly gluten free options. Target has something for everyone and it’s never so crowded that it becomes uncomfortable. If the check out lines suddenly get long they immediately open additional registers to make sure that their customers check out quickly.

This is a great Target. There are always helpful employees around to offer assistance, and the store is clean and well-​organized. The cashiers are consistently friendly and professional. I have to love a place where I can buy cereal, toilet bowl cleaner, a blender, and cute shoes all in one trip.

Always clean but there is just a huge lack of genuine service at this Target. all of the employees are so rude except for maybe one, I wish I knew her name.

This is a great Target. It’s always clean and organized and very rarely crowded! The employees are helpful when asked to locate something, they don’t point you in the right direction, they walk you to it! The cashiers always try to keep the lines from getting long by opening new registers. I even had a cashier give me an apology certificate good for $ 6 because of a wait. But I only waited for about a minute and a half! Since it’s a Super Target it’s one stop shopping for groceries and household items. Great job Target employees!

Store is clean and not cluttered like Walmart. I rather pay more for a clean organized store then shop at Walmart ever.

So, this is the Target I run to for the following:
— forgot about Potluck at work and need something ASAP
— forgot that I’m working out after work and need socks
— can’t seem to find a starbucks with a short line
For all those reasons, and more (I sound like an advertisement), this neighborhood Target helps me deal with my aging memory. Thank you, for being there if sometimes there are multiple smokers near the entrance.

It kills me inside that I go here so often because it’s so convenient for me since it’s near where I work so I come every morning just to pick up some stuff whether it be snacks or supplies I need. I love Target. Honestly, I do. Despite what I’ve heard about the main corporation stealing designs and logos and such. As a whole, Target has everything I would ask for and usually it’s super cute.
What this store lacks of is customer service. There is this one kind lady that works the mornings, I wish I knew her name. Once I find out, I will mention her. Besides that though when I walk around aimlessly, some people don’t care to say good morning or hi even though I’m here literally every day.
After countless visits, today finally irritated me. I asked a guy and a girl who worked at Target if they had binder rings. I said «excuse me» and they both looked at me if I was interrupting them. I know y’all were talking and playing music, I heard y’all, I said I’m sorry. I asked if they knew where the binder rings were because I have bought them before but didn’t know if they changed the aisle. They didn’t want to help me and look for them. They said they didn’t have it. Not a sorry or anything then they went back to talking. I went to go venture off and find it myself and guess what? Found them.
Irritating. If you don’t wanna help, why work at a place so heavily based off on customer service?

As usual, treated like a valued patron. Every trip to this location, i am asked by several employees if they can help me. They seek me out, despite being busy, and are warm and friendly. I have never entered this store without somebody engaging me in a friendly conversation. I have been assisted in the meat dept, housewares, lingerie. you name it. Todays super star is Ty the cashier. Its early am but she was terrific and GENUINE. This behavior is rare in retail these days but it is what will keep me driving out of my way to spend my hard earned money here. There are plenty of less expensive closer venues, but I keep coming here because i love being treated like im special and important. The end.

Great place to shop and get some good grocery deals and discunts. Friendly associates.

Shopping at Target is always a pleasant experience. We usually go to the one on Hwy 6, but we got our TV here, and this time, Catan the board game:)
Seems like they updated the pin pad screen or whatever you call it, looks really fancy…

I stopped on 4TH of July and expected a dirty, crowded or an unorganized store, but this place was so clean and organized I couldn’t believe it.
The cashier was so nice too.

Went a few days before Christmas and it was packed and they were out of a lot of things. We drove to the Missouri City location and it was nice and quiet and they had plenty of things on the shelves still. I like this Target but because of the popular location it gets packed and they don’t open enough lanes. We got in and out of the other location much faster.

Target isn’t a bad store. When compared to that «other» mega corporation of mass merchandise, Target is a clear winner.
The store itself is laid out well. No boxes of unpacked merchandise clutter the aisles and there is room enough to maneuver the shopping carts easily without the temptation of running over slow pokey people in your way.
The floors are clean and shiny, merchandise is neatly displayed and stocked well.
I’ve never bought groceries or household wares here so I can’t comment on those areas. The only purchases I’ve made here and can vouch for are cleaning products, the toy dept. and some basic cotton pj sets.
Target sells good quality cleaning products that are up to date and in plentiful variety. The toy department is large and organized. I’ve had no trouble finding anything I was looking for. The cotton pj sets are cute, very comfy and can be purchased as separate pieces if desired. The employees are friendly and actually available for help if needed.
While I hardly ever shop here, I have been pleased with my purchases and experiences for the times I have been here. Not bad at all.

Target is target Good stuff – always clean. I’m starting to reel a little for the «Super-​Big Box» evolution of Target and Walmart in that although they probably have what you are looking for, going to these places has become such a time-​committment just traversing the length of the store.
One problem inherent to just about any Target out there — not enough check-​out lines seem to be open when the amount of people in the store would seem to say «Open more check out lanes.»

I love this Target! It’s clean and sparkly. Pricing is accurate. Clothing section is organized (although I try to stay away and not spend too much!). They have tons of colors of bath and bedding. Checkout process is smooth. Bathrooms are on the clean side. It’s just a solid Target.
Their Starbucks could have a little faster service and stronger iced coffee, but that’s just a little thing and doesn’t necessarily have to do with the actual store.
