I stopped by here today with my kids, It is a very good place, the owner is very nice and my kids enjoy their junior hot dog and cheese burgers. Prices good too, and they know what are they doing. Definite will come again

One day after work, the husband and I were looking for somewhere new to eat in Sugar Land. He stumbled across this restaurant on Unilocal so we thought we would try it. We got to the restaurant and it was empty, which might be normal for a weekday evening. Ordered the wings and a sandwich, nothing bad but nothing special. Will probably not return.

Perhaps it caters to a distinct statistical segment of the population. Two challenges for the place: location and preparation. At least two other fast food establishments(very different cuisines) failed at this location. There is no way that this time the outcome will be different. I found the place uninviting and unwelcome. I stepped inside since I had an errand at an adjacent facility. Food preparation is sub-par. When meat is cooked with untrimmed gristle it signals lack of basic attention by the chef or the wrong cut for the dish. Besides, how can one mess up quesadillas? The only item that was prepared and served properly was the hot dog. In the competitive food business no amount of style can overcome substance in the long run. Besides, the customers have to feel welcomed irrespective of their physical constraints.

The chicken and waffles breakfast tastes amazing and is a good deal price wise to fill you up with a yummy breakfast.

I had the Guac-o-potle burger and wings. It is pretty good size burger with a side of curly fries. The buffalo wings were good as well. Best of all its halal. The service was good.

TG cravings has nothing to do with tempura grill. It’s actually his wife and his initials and what they crave on their menu. How interesting. Really clean place. Small menu but varies from breakfast to nachos to burgers to Tex mex to hot dogs to steaks. Really good burgers. I loved the mamu burger. Definitely worth coming back here again.

The food was excellent! We had philly chicken and chicken and waffles. Philly chicken had a Pakistani spice on the chicken. The chicken and waffles were crispy and moist. We ended our meal with the brownie fudge sundae which was also very delicious. Overall great food at a decent price. Friendly staff.

Had their knock out burger and it was pretty good. I have to say though it was a pretty normal tasting burger with curly fries. Staff(the one guy there) was really nice and the restaurant was really well built. I have to try other things on the menu because I’ve heard better things about this place, but overall a solid place to try out.

I believe this place is working towards the 5 stars. Customers comments are effective, food is getting better. The chicken buffalo sandwich, and burgers there are great. I suggest working on: — a salad bar — Add garlic sauce(garlic mayo) — Maybe find better bread buns for the burgers

TG’s Cravings is an interesting spot. Located close to the mall in Sugar Land, it is a bit tucked away in a shopping center. While it’s an American restaurant with offerings such as burgers and hot dogs as well as Tex-Mex, it’s a Muslim establishment so the food is halal. I had a Groupon here so I pigged out. They start you off with complimentary chips and salsa and I got a strawberry and banana smoothie. A bit pricey at $ 4 but it was pretty good. Started off with the breaded lemon pepper wings which were excellent. Well seasoned and crispy, those were some good wings. Finished things off with the mamu burger with curly fries which was a ½ patty(you can also get 1 lb) stuffed with cheese on freshly baked bread. The bread was great, slightly sweet but real fresh. The burger was great overall, it’s the curly fries that were lacking. Just tasted like frozen fries you could get from the grocery store so I wasn’t impressed. They also do delivery if you’re in the mood for some takeout.

Came here with a friend while I was in Sugar Land visiting family. The place was moderately crowded, and we were seated immediately. Customer Service The staff was very nice and attentive. They took our order and told us straight up our food would take long which I really appreciated. They also let me charge my phone behind the counter which was nice. Food We ordered two of the 1lb Knock Out Burgers(hence the long wait time). The burger was nicely done and the sausage inside the patty was amazing! Price Very reasonable for 0.5−1lb halal burgers, especially considering how good the burgers were. I haven’t really tried anything else here. Ambience It was very clean and not very loud, even though it was pretty crowded for a Wednesday afternoon.

I’ve been on a mission to find the best burgers in Texas, and this place earned its spot on my top 5. The restaurant is located in a nice area, but not easily visible from the main roads. The inside of the restaurant is very clean and is family friendly. The staff is extremely nice, providing great service to its customers. I ordered the knockout burger, substituted blue cheese with cheddar. The beef patty was well cooked and had bits of sausage mixed in. The bun is what honestly made the burger! It was slightly sweet and soft, and the sweetness perfectly complemented the meaty burger. They must bake the buns fresh there. The addition of veggies was perfect, not too much just the right amount. I loved the burger! I’m from Dallas but visit here frequently. And this will definitely be a place to stop by every time I visit!

I don’t usually eat fast food but when I do I prefer for it to be at places like this rather than McDonald’s or Jack in the Box. It just tastes fresher and less mass produced and better in general. I’ve had take out from TG’s Cravings, but never dined in. I hope to soon though because the restaurant looks comfortable and spacious. The food is fantastic. I’ve tried their buffalo wings and I was very impressed. It had the perfect amount of sauce and spice and I can’t wait to try the other flavors. I’ve also had their philly cheesesteak which was good but I would have preferred for the onions to be caramelized and the peppers grilled. It was delicious but it could be even better. Their chicken fajitas are good, but pretty basic. Although it’s reassuring to not have to ask 5 times if my refried beans has pork. My only complaint is that when I got home I realized they gave me tortilla chips instead of actual tortillas. I hope this was a mistake and they don’t actually serve their fajitas with tortilla chips. I was a little peeved about having to go out and buy tortillas just to eat my fajita but it had just opened at the time and growing pains. I get it. The star of the show for me was their loaded fries aka chili cheese fries. That thing was hefty and a meal in itself. The curly fries alone are amazing but then the chili and the gooey cheese. I was in heaven(and the gym for consecutive days after but totally worth it). I’m going back for the chili cheese fries. Next time I’ll get it sans jalepenos because I just thought it was too much. The employees are friendly and polite and the food is great. If I lived closer I might have to buy bigger clothes.

Best burger and keema paratha in town! Their service is fast depending on the food you order. It takes 20 minutes to make the food for about 6 people. Which is normal. Be patient and you will be rewarded!

I don’t write as many reviews as I probably should, but this one needs to be written. The concept and idea behind TG Cravings is wonderful for Muslims who only eat zabiha. They offer a menu that’s packed with texmex, American, and desi foods that normally would not be as readily available. The burgers are Texas-sized, cooked well, and I feel seasoned well too. The loaded nachos are decent, and will probably get better over time. The quesadillas, I feel, are microwaved because the edges of the tortillas are like card board. There strongest menu items are the burgers and the croissantwich(which I’ve only seen at sahoor). There keema paratha was lack luster, and the parathas were clearly ready made from the freezer. The portions was tiny, with more flat bread than keema. The keema itself was over cooked and over salted. All things that can be fixed. There biggest problem is service and lack thereof. If you’re going to have wait staff come to the table to take the order, then they need to be serving drinks too. It was so bizarre that the server took our order but I had to get up and get drinks. There were not enough restaurant cups to go around, so we resorted to paper cups. The waitress came back to take our order three times, claiming each time that the order was lost, but the receipt that was charged to us had everything in triplicate, weird and awkward. The wait staff were random, and there was no consistency in who took the order and who brought the food. At a table of 12, only 4 people got their food — as if this wasn’t a clue that something was wrong to the wait staff, we had to flag them down. There were other tables in which people came, ordered, waited, and left. The MANAGER/OWNER, who supposedly has 15 years experience, came to our table offered a quiet and almost mechanical apology, which you could tell was reluctant. He never admitted they were at fault and kept on trying to accuse us of doing something wrong. Unfortunately, it’s one of the very few Pakistani/zabiha restaurants with a unique menu, so I really feel there lack of customer service and quality will effect their business. But I must say, that had it been any other restaurant, the bill would’ve either been discounted, or some compensation given; not at TG Cravings! Where the restaurant will do what it pleases, and charge you for it!

Update to review: So I’ve returned to TG’s a MiLLION times and the food has gotten tremendously better! By far the best Halal American style restaurant in Houston/Sugar Land. I’ve seen that they’ve added some Pak/Indo dishes this month but haven’t tried those. Fav items are Chicken Fajitas(though they always forget to put tortillas in the to go orders) and Cheese Burgers.

We just got done eating here. Great place, great ambiance, and the service was immaculate. The staff is friendly, proactive and attentive. Bathrooms are super clean. And most importantly, food is fresh and delicious. We ordered the cheeseburger. And probably one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. I highly recommend this place.

This is definitely going to be one of Sugar Land’s hidden gem. They restaurant is huge and spacious. Plenty of space for all your friends and family. It also has a sports bar feeling minus the actual bar. Large tv to watch the game or some tv. Tall bar tables lining the walls give it that sports bar feel. Very clean I must say. For appetizer we got the fried pickles and some lemon peppered chicken wings. I would like to note that Our chicken wings actually came after our main course was brought out. The wings were yummy and meaty too. The Halal burgers were amazing! I got the knock out burger with was 1 lb of goodness which sausage embedded within the meat. I would also like to note that it didn’t taste like sausage, but hot dog. Probably was. Anyway, the husband got their steak which was good. We got so full, we needed a doggy bag. Service was okay. Nothing to complain about. The location is behind the target off of hwy 6 and 59. You would have to turn onto hwy 6 then on Kensington to get into the cul du sac where it’s located. Next to the panel brothers grocery.

I like that this place has several different options– burgers, burritos, fajitas, tacos, hot dogs– it has a wide array of American and tex mex foods that are heaven to someone who eats only halal meat. The atmosphere is nice, place is clean– you are greeted and taken care of very well. Definitely a great place to take the family or hang out with your friends. I had a chicken fajita platter that came with rice and beans– I have to say, I really enjoyed the rice and beans, very good flavor. The chicken fajita meat was good but had a touch of spices that added a «desi» touch to it– this can be a good or bad thing depending on your tastes; it was ok to me but I probably would have preferred regular spices on my meat instead. My cousin got the tacos and totally enjoyed it– I will definitely be going back to try the tacos and maybe a hot dog too!

My order: loaded nachos, knockout, Mamu, and TG cheeseburger combos, and Philly cheesesteak . I visited this place for a late lunch on a Sunday. Definitely loved the sufficient lighting and roomy seating along with the clean and nice atmosphere. You can sit down where you like since they have table service. The menu is broken down into sections which helps when you don’t have a clue and are just hungry. Menu breakdown includes appetizers, steaks, tex-mex, burgers, sandwiches, and desserts. Started off with the loaded nachos and they were ok. I believe they lacked some freshness to them like cilantro and I know they don’t say it comes with guacamole, but it would be a nice side option. We opted to try out several items for our main dishes since this was our first time. The knockout burger which only comes in one size has beef filled with sausage, hot sauce, jalapeños, and veggies. I believe that was hot dog inside that burger, and not sausage but either way it was just ok. The hot sauce was not hot or should I say spicy by any means and I expected to taste it but didn’t. On to the next burger the Mamu, a Hindi word which actually means a relation with one’s mother’s brother. It was very good. It only comes in 1lb burger size but I guess ask for a doggy bag with your order. The Philly cheesesteak was ok nothing spectacular. The TG cheeseburger half pounder was just right for my daughter and I really wish they would have ½ option for a the burgers. Yes it was like the adventures of Goldie locks and the 3 bears. The curly fries were good and not too salty which is something I appreciated. My total was just like a steakhouse $ 65 for four people and rather high for a burger joint. As a summary I appreciate the fact that this joint serves halal food and the owner came to greet us at our table. The food came out quick. The fact that there is a paper towel roll on the table saved me as I’m a messy eater. Clean place and its new so give it a try. I will definitely go back and probably just sick to the ½ pounders next time. For those burger junkies do try the TG tower which if you complete in 5 minutes is free. Gotta love a little competition.
