I asked the waitress if she could cut my cheeseburger in half, she replied by saying, «we don’t cut burgers in half here». It got kind of awkward.

Good wings and the food is budget friendly. Didn’t have the burgers, please be aware the food is more pakistani fusion then authentic Chinese or Thai, this is confusing because the place before was a very good Chinese Restaurant and the menu boast’s it’s Halal Chinese food. The first impression was that there was only a single waitress who also was the host and the cashier, the menu was scattered between American, Indian/Pakistani, and Chinese food, and the taste and base of the food is very Pakistani. When I washed my hand after eating the Spicy Thai chicken, the turmeric, saffron, chillie powder and coriander powder base just didn’t come off my hand after washing my hand, and it wasn’t spicy nor sweet which is what I was expecting from well made Thai food and some Chinese Dishes. The water was presented in a jug with plastic 6 ounce cups from Wal-mart which did not make a good impression with American restaurants, it’s acceptable in Dubai, Pakistan, or India to push bottled water but screams Desi to those that are Desi and know Desi food from a mile away. The server didn’t seem too passionate about the food she served. I guess it’s godsend to the area to those that can only eat Halal but I believe the focus should be on one main type of cuisine for each restaurant and perfect that one. There is restaurants in Houston that make authentic tasting Chinese food that is Halal so I believe it is do-able, and the former Jamilah Garden was fantastic at it. This is not the same place, as the former business was. However to those that can eat outside the restrictions of Halal, there is more mindblowing options out there.

This place is under new management so I decided to give it a try. I had the Chinese rice and a burger and it was excellent! Also the service is very good and they definitely go the extra mile if you have a large party. The ambience is not loud which is great if thats what your looking for. Keep up the good work!

They have some really good burgers with great portions. The philly is horrible because they used their Chinese food beef and dumped it into a philly and it was spicy to the point it became a task to eat it. The food is priced fairly and the place is pretty clean besides the bathroom.

This place was weird. It has half Chinese restaurant and half burgers??? I was really wanting a burger(which doesn’t happen often) and this one was very disappointing. The meat was overcooked and dry, the bun was yucky, slimey basic bun that fell apart before I could get half way through the burger. Gross! I thought the fries were good. This place delivers and I live close and was hoping to find a local place to help out in a bind. This will not be it.

I can safely say that if your looking for a decent burger, and you like thick burgers, this is a burger you can try. I felt that the place was a little dark, but I ordered take out. First time here so I just got some cheeseburger combos, and the amount of fries is equivalent to a small order in a kids meal at McDonald’s. I liked the fries here so I’m not saying small is bad, just letting you know the amount. I figured I should try another appetizer so I got the 5 pcs jalapeño poppers. They were pretty good. I would definitely try this place again and hope to try Chinese food next time. This place is close to home and I’m thankful for a place with a good burger, just wish the burger was slightly thinner, as that’s a lot of meat. I was peasantry surprised that the bun was sufficient bread to meat ratio so it worked out just fine. I was pleased to find ketchup packets and 4 brownie bites that were complimentary. I’ll be back.

I only had the wings and they were solid. Multiple flavors and large wings. Perfect side with pizza!

Their burgers and Chinese food is awesome. .I am a regular on Fridays and sick days for their soups..(My favorite is the house noodle) Be mindful their base is the traditional pakistani flavor .so yes a bit spicy and truly authentic. . Staff is very nice and friendly. . Last year they had buffet that was mix of traditional and Chinese and that’s what got me hooked .(I am not a buffet person) Worth a try !!!

I was really impressed with the food and staff here. I know there is a lot of choices on the menu… But I managed to try a few different items at multiple visits. Burgers had a lot of flavor and enjoyed the variety. Wings were really nice and I didn’t get a chance to try multiple sauces but enjoyed the mango habanero. I tried a few different items from the Asian menu and I enjoyed it. Had a touch of desi flavor which I really enjoy.

Worse place ever, I once made a To go order and they said 30 mins, I got there in 40 mins and had to wait 20 more mins. Their attitude is really bad, i once bought the chicken wings which were all burned. I prefer going to Walmart and eating those frozen noodles and rice

Bravely ordered through GrubHub before reading these ratings. Ended up pleasantly surprised by good food, good portions and friendly service. Food arrived in timely fashion and at good temperature. For those critics out there, you might want to try their Mongolian dishes. Not bad. My wife said it was worst Chinese food ever. They were named after popular Chinese dishes, but tastes more Indian. I also ended up with digestive problems for 2 days. Not sure if it was related.

This place has a crisis of what it wants to be. I found it because it boasts Chinese food. It sells American style burgers as well. I didn’t try this. I had a few different Chinese dishes. They can’t cook Chinese. No offence. I like the owner as he hails from my home town of London. But he is of Pakistani descent and all the Chinese dishes are made with Pakistani food ingredients. I love Indian food because it generally has depth and is layered. It is only hot when you ask for Biryani for instance. Pakistani foods are generally one dimension with a hot spice leading the way. This was the cxase here also. You take a bite and your lips and tongue are basically anesthetized. I couldn’t feel lips or tongue after a few bites. Pakistanis love this. I’m told it is some sort of very hot green pepper. Why doesn’t owner just call the chinese food as fusion with a Pakistani bent. That way we’d all know. I wish them luck as they are nice people. I actually gave them 2 chances to get it right and did warn that I usually review on Unilocal.Their chef/cook obviously can only cook Pakistani style.

Had the chicken Alfredo and the chicken corn soup. The Alfredo pasta was like lo mien so it was a little weird. Yet the overall meal was ok I liked the soup more, don’t think I will be coming back though food took a long time to make

Attempted to try this place on a Sunday. Sign said they open at noon. Waited until 12:15 and they never opened so I left. And I shouldn’t have gone back. Went back on a Saturday afternoon and placed a to go order. Was told it would take 20 minutes. I said fine and waited in my car. At 20 minutes I went inside and it still wasn’t ready. I ended up waiting a total of 45 minutes and the place only had one table of four people inside. Not sure what the hold up was. Besides the wait, the food was terrible. I ordered chicken with mixed vegetables and asked for light sauce. What I got looked like stew. Sesame chicken and teriyaki chicken were gooey and too sweet. The only good thing I have to say is the chicken corn soup was good. My total bill was $ 45 and it all went in the trash, except for the soup.

This is a new start up business, they don’t have much to offer yet but I have a feeling they will do great business for a couple reasons. 1) The girl cooking in the back has actually been to culinary school. she knows what she’s doing. 2) the gentleman in the front is very customer service oriented, i appreciate that as most desi places lack the basic manners. 3) their burgers are AMAZING! Go check it out if you still haven’t been.
