I placed an order online last night consisting of 20 items. 4 of those items were to be shipped to my house and the other 16 were for same day In-store pick up. I selected the option In-Store Pickup Today for a reason. Cause I needed the materials for a job I had committed to. I received an order confirmation email from Home Depot so I assumed everything’s alright. I come to the store with my printed order confirmation, and go to the customer service to pick it up. Guess what? The associate is unable to find it in the system. So she ask me to read the order number back to her, then we try by phone number, then we try by last name. Still nothing… I’m standing here for 45 minutes while she’s trying to figure out what’s going on, and then I’m handed the store phone and notified by a customer service rep that my order has been flagged in the back end, for security purposes. My problem is, I’m a regular shopper at HD and I paid with my HD credit card for the order, so what’s the security issue? Second if this is the case why on earth would not notify the customer and let them know your pickup has been prolonged for 24 – 48 hours due to back end security issues? I made a commitment to a customer to be there at a specific time. I had to cancel on my client which took money out my pocket. This is extremely unprofessional. You would think a company this size would have the common courtesy of notifying a customer their pickup time has been prolonged due to an issue, especially when they selected the option for in-store pick up today. The staff was nice, it’s not their fault and I thank them for their kindness. But c’mon HD get your shit together seriously. Guess who’s going to Lowe’s next time?

I just recently moved and I needed to fill my housr with appliances. My first item was a washer/dryer. we ordered with ease but when it came to the delivery it was a mess. To my understanding(and with previous home deliveries) we were supposed to get a phone call with a delivery window for the next day. Since I have not received a phone call I am going about the busy life of a mother of 3. I get a phone call around 8:45am from the delivery guy that he would be at my house in 5 minutes… wait what? I told him that I was out and I wouldn’t be home for another 45 minutes… He then said«thats too long, ill have someone call you… click». Yes, he just hung up. So I try calling home depot to tell them what this idiot just said and did and I couldn’t get through to anyone. So I just drove to the site and asked for some clarification on what just happened and to see when they would be delivering my washer/dryer. I spoke to a very helpful woman named Dallas and she got them to say they would make our delivery their last. Unfortunately they did not and this was on a friday I believe. We were then told our next delivery day would be Tuesday, but it was actually Wednesday. So Wednesday comes around and they just show up. No 15 minute courtesy call, they just show up. They seem nice but I can tell they are going to piss me off. If anyone who owns a dryer you know that the hose comes with 2 clamps and one connects to the hose on the piece that goes to the wall and the other connects to the other end that goes onto the dryer. Its not very hard to put 2 and 2 together. The guy tells me that he doesn’t need to put the 2nd one on… I bypass what he says and told him I think you should put it on. I can tell they just wanted to rush through it and leave. These guys werent very small so I told them I have no problem squeezing in between the sets and installing the other clamp, so I did. But before I do this I place my cell phone on the washer and when I come up and start looking for my phone one of them pulls it out of his pocket and gives me this bullsh*t story about him thinking it was his. Really??? You expect me to think that a man in your line of work doesn’t have a case on your phone? And you thought that my phone that has no case and is gold is yours? I hate to jump to conclusions but this«mistake» happened after I seen their mannerism. After I noticed they had no courtesy, were trying to rush the job and after I noticed dirty handprints all over my walls going up the stairs(where the set needed to be installed). I needed to buy more appliances but in no way will I EVER order another item from Home Depot. I shop at Home Depot often and Ive never had any issues but until they clean up their delivery company, Ill never order another thing.

If you buy an appliance here, insist that it be installed by RWB Installation. We had some installation issues that were long and drawn out mainly because Special Services/Assistant Manager Robert M. did not communicate with us in resolving the issue; rather, we always had to call him, usually leaving messages over a three-day period that were never returned unless we actually went to the store. This was especially annoying in that we were trying to reschedule the initial installation – a process that requires some communication to coordinate. Emails — same result(and yes, I did check my spam folder just in case). Never heard from the general manager, Jonathan S. – not once. RWB Installation’s two-man team was able to correct a very MINOR valve issue(gas line for stove had a water heater valve with a male end rather than a female end) that the other 3rd party delivery/installation company wouldn’t even consider solving. Even with this issue, the installation by RWB took all of 15 – 20 minutes, including leveling the stove. I couldn’t have asked for a better installation team. Had I known before buying the stove to insist on RWB Installation, we would have had a working stove three days earlier without any issues.

Went in to buy a few things, but I couldn’t find them. I tried to find an employee to ask, but nobody was around. Only employee I encountered asked me to do a customer service survey. I agreed. She asked me my first name. No problem there. Next, she wanted my phone number. So it wasn’t a customer service survey — it was a marketing ploy. The checkout is self-pay machines. Sometimes, they have one register open. Overall, this is just another big box store, staffed by people who struggled to get through high school. No customer service, no product knowledge, and no work ethic. I’m headed home to buy my items from .

Wait wait wait for someone to answer the 3 calls and 32 minute wait for an employee to come to lumber. Are the unlabeled 2×4 plywood pieces actually what I am looking for? Then an employee. Yes they are. Good deal I need 5 of them and will need hp to get them down from the middle shelf. The stack us over my head and I am 6’1″. Wait, where is the employee going? Oh off following a female customer. Uhm help?

A really clean location and good customer service when i was there. Some of the merchandise is placed in odd locations that differ from other locations. This made it difficult to find items that i needed, but customer service was able to help really well. Good place but not over exceptional for a 5-star

Hit and miss– tons of «can I help you?» when you don’t need it, then when you need help finding something odd or placed in an area where you wouldn’t expect no one. But overall it’s home depot– I just try to get in and out as fast as possible– I’m not there for an experience usually because something at home needs attention I just want in and out and get what I want.
