It’s sad when you have been frequenting an establishment for about 4 – 5 years and you have always had good service up until now. Came to Cast Iron as I usually do on Sunday’s cuz I can’t lie they normally have great customer service and to be fair it started off good. My best friend and I were enjoying their Brunch special with Mimosas and as usual we were mingling with the people that were around us cuz I mean we are friendly people. Well once we asked for a refill on our mimosas we are told the manager cut us off which was a surprise to us cuz we have had more than 7 mimosas there before and have never had a problem. Well the manager comes over and tells us that his server has cut us off. Curious as to what we have done because we have been chill for the entire time the manager says that the server Cody stated that we were using vulgar language. Much to my surprise I ask what have we said. Honestly my best friend can be loud and obnoxious but he’s been on his best behavior today. We get some story about how they would rather not repeat what was said but at this point I feel like I’m being slandered cuz I know we haven’t done anything wrong. I’m the first to admit my mistake. We go back and forth with the manager which I respect cuz he sticks to his guns and backs his rep. As a manager of an establishment myself I can appreciate that. But I still flabbergasted by this accusation of us using vulgar language finally we get another drink but at this point I’m over being there and we ask for the Check. Cody acts like nothing is wrong. Words of advice. If you feel like a patron of your establishment has had a little too much to drink, be a man and let them know or even if they are acting up let them know to chill. Don’t hid behind your manager because you know they will protect you. Once again shout out to the manager for being a good leader but Cody be a man about it and talk to your patrons and be real don’t make stuff up and lie to your managers about it. As we walk out we apologize to the people sitting next to us and one of the guys was like hey you handled it well because I was going to jump in because he was getting us involved. I’m not saying stay away from Cast Iron because I’ve been going there for years but watch out for Cody he will make stuff up and honestly we still don’t know why. The 3 stars are for the manager who was a standout guy and handled our inquiry very professionally and took care of us after

My husband and I usually love Cast Iron but today was a mess. We came in for Valentine’s Day breakfast, we arrived at 9:15am knowing there would be a line. They opened the doors at 9:30 and allowed everyone in front of us in. After a 30 minute wait with us being next to be seated, the hostess tells us it’ll be another 30 mins before we can be seated. Luckily there was a table open in the bar so we took that. We waited 20 minutes before anyone came over to get us drinks or bring us the fruit tray that comes w brunch. They had the bartender serving the entire bar, which was packed. He was very nice, but not very attentive, probably because he was the only one working. When our order came up about 40 minutes after we got there, my omelette was missing both tomato and avocado. The side of potatoes was freezing cold. I asked him to please bring avocado and tomato on the side rather than remaking the omelette. 10 minutes later, they brought me an eighth of an avocado and two slices of tomato meant to go on a hamburger. By this time all of my food was cold, but I ate what I could salvage. Both of us had empty beverages and our plates stacked for the next 25 minutes until we had to grab a busser to bring us our check. We were charged for the avocado, the amount of which was less than what would have been put in the omelette, and it arrived far after my meal. We were very very disappointed, as this is one of our favorite restaurants, and this being a holiday, we expected to have a nice breakfast together but instead everything went wrong, and at no point did anyone ever apologize or say sorry for the wait. I think it will be a while before we are back.

Went there for Valentines Day brunch. Was told wait time will be 45 mins. No problem. we walked around waterfront. Came back in 45 mins and was told a table was being set up. We had 4 adults and 2 children. How hard can that be. It took maybe another 20 mins to get seated. Food was good and service was good. When we got seated in the back there were a couple of tables available. We were about ready to walk out because the kids were hungry and getting fussy. The front needs to be more accurate in the wait time.

Previous trips to Cast Iron Grill weren’t the best. Today was the exception. Jessica was our server and she is awesome. Great service. Great attitude. Great food. Because of Jessica we’ll be back.

Okay so I hate to do this. We have been comming here for brunch for years for champagne brunch. Today we got here and the price is now 17.99 :/and it tastes like they changed the champagne. The service is always very different on Saturday then Sunday and not in a good way. Things have changed over the years and I have my favorite servers that know me and my family when we walk in the door. However things were not broken a year ago and things shouldn’t have changed. My kids got pancakes came out and we’re super small compared to what they usually have. I will come back, hopefully it was just a bad day. However if I come back and the things seem to get worse I will choose not to go there anymore

First time eating in the area. Was very impressed. Ordered the apple salad with chicken. Nice price and a solid amount of food. Friendly staff. Great beer selection. Would love to try it on a Friday or Saturday night.

Great Place(meaning atmosphere). I bet it’s even better in the summer for outside seating. Came here for a birthday brunch and the bottomless champaign for $ 16.99 can’t beat that. I ordered the salmon Benedict it was tasty but nothing to write home about. I didn’t care to much for the blueberry lemon ricotta pancakes. I guess I was expecting to taste more of the lemon however they had fresh blueberries in the pancakes. I think what I liked best was how they seasoned the potatoes that came with the salmon egg Benedict and the bottomless champaign that’s why I give it a 4 star.

Wonderful service, the food was flavorful and well-portioned, and the champagne never stopped. A great way to start off a lazy weekend.

Really enjoyed their Sunday brunch. The champagne was fine, although you have to pay extra for orange juice. They give you a good amount though. So much that we had to keep asking for more champagne! I had the Moco Loco and truly enjoyed it. I would go back!

We went there last night It was disappointing. Risotto very salty two of us could hardly eat it Calamari was OK. My daughter had the Mahi mahi that was good minus the soggy crab on top. The high light was the wedge salad. That was very good. Service was good not much personality but did a good job. We were never asked how food was by server or by a manager going around checking on his customers at his restaurant. I would come back for drinks only but not food.

I Went to have post New Year drinks with my mom and the bartenders’ service was horrible and dry! She miscounted my change, brought my tapenade in a Dixie drink cup, and to top it off instead of bringing me my correct change after I brought it to her attention; she I assumed I was buying the tapenade and used the money she owed me to pay for it! Erica the bartender I’m speaking of, catered to some people she knew sitting next to us and then when we asked for her attention to get assistance she acted as if she was annoyed by us! While all along I was annoyed by her weak, dry attitude and horrible lax service! THISREVIEWISNOTDIRECTLYABOUTCASTIRONANDLITTLETODOWITHTHIERFOODORDRINKS! WHICH I ENJOY! but all to do with the whack service from the bartender Erica whom I was extremely disturbed by! I had planned on giving her the measly $ 50 for my $ 40 tab; But she shorted my change, jacked up my money and spent it how she wanted to, so there was nothing left to give her. Literally! So my mom who was buying the food gave me the money and I forgot to leave Erica the undeserved tip because at that point I was silently bitching about the whack service Erica was providing! I grabbed my Gucci bag and kept it moving! I didn’t even realize until I wrote this review that I didn’t leave her a tip! So here’s the best tip I can give you for 2016 Erica, «Get it together sweetie because No one likes a dry ass bartender, with a nasty dismissive attitude!» And here’s an extra tip for the road, «If you pay attention to your customers you don’t even have to learn how to count, they will leave you extra money and then you can literally rely on the register who counts the change for you!!!» I don’t mean to go on a rant but I haven’t had whack service like this in a long time and it irks me because I made a small fortune being a bartender, just on attitude and smiles alone! Good luck Erica and Happy New Year!!!

Went here for my birthday last night and the only thing i can say Drinks were good… Food was not as good as expected. Wait staff is incompetent and had a very hard time getting correct change for our bill. Service was not up to par as our waiter constantly bypassed us to attend others(it was not crowded mind you). Brunch is usually really great from what I am told but dinner is not. If i could do my birthday dinner over I most certainly would.

If I could give a zero I would. Staff is to concerned with their«own» drama to take care of their customers. This used to be my go to place but service has dropped to the level of a drive thru. Not sure what happened. Everything is processed. Nothing fresh. Very disappointed.

This has been my family’s third time in the past 4 years having dinner at The Cast Iron Bar And Grill, for Thanksgiving. I must say each time has been wonderfully memorable. When you have a party of 9 to 10, with ages 4 to 55, it is quite exciting and busy. The staff is kind, accomodating, and helpful. The service has always been excellent, in addition to the ambience. We may just make coming here our family tradition.

Good happy hour menu. Used to get the fish tacos, but don’t anymore because they’re made with frozen fish sticks. Good beer/drink selection though.

1. Bartender was very good; helpful and pleasant 2. Then at 6 for our reservations: A. They put the 5 of us in the hidden corner and the only other table with folks of color, right next us. B. We ordered same drinks we drank at bar, the server brought them and said she couldn’t leave them unless we gave her an I D for each mug and she would give the IDs back after she picked the empty mugs, «these mugs tend to walk away» WTF I told her to take them back then, no way i was«handing over my ID for a period of time». C. She proceeded to rush our party. She kept taking each plate away so fast and repeatedly asked«need anything else, all done?». Took my bread plate with bread and butter still in it. Our party of 5 were: well dressed; quiet; professionals. Mind blower. It was my husband’s birthday and the first time to meet our good friends girlfriend so I didn’t raise ____. Never again! Please beware!
