Glashoff has the best walnut oil, lemon curd and lime curd. I just purchased a bunch for my tow truck clients and when we showed up with their gift packs, lots of oohs and aahs as they were hoping they were getting them again for Christmas. Oh yeah, and their blackberry jam is divine! You would have to check them out at the San Francisco market to sample and buy. I would recommend Glashoff Farms for that unique food gift item for your special person and customers. Beats spending all that time in the kitchen making cookies and tastes better too!

WEDDINGVENUEREVIEW! We recently got married at the Glashoff Farms. The property itself is gorgeous! We could not have been more pleased with our pictures and the backdrop for our big day. However, beyond that we found working with Glashoffs to be fairly frustrating. Leading up to our wedding it was sometimes hard to get a hold of Lizzie and we would often have to call\e-mail multiple times to get a response. I had just been in both my sister and my best friends wedding and watched them suffer through a handful of things I didn’t want to deal with, so I made them a priority the first time we ever stepped foot onto the Glashoff’s property. The first was being able to store all our alcohol and beverages in their refrigerator over night before the wedding(we stocked our own bar, so there was quite a bit). Lizzie confirmed that it wouldn’t be a problem, I had it added to our contract, and then called and confirmed the usage the week of the wedding. Alas when we arrived, the fridge was full of berries and there was hardly any room at all. Their response was that their property was a working farm and there was nothing they could do about it until morning. We made do, but it was very stressful and they were not very accommodating until my site coordinator basically insisted that they work it out and fit all of our chilled items in the fridge. Second I was very concerned about people getting from the parking area to the ceremony. The property is good size, and there are multiple lawns and an orchard between parking and where our ceremony was. I talked to Lizzie about this the first time we saw the property, I confirmed the week of, and hours before our ceremony she was nowhere to be found and there was no one guiding guests to the right place. There were parking attendants ensuring our guests didn’t park wherever they wanted but no one to assist guests. It might not seem like a big deal, but we had guests wandering around and guests walking through our pictures. I finally had to go ask my dad and then groomsmen to go help people get to where they needed to be. Finally, we were told at our first visit and again when we signed the contract that we could remain on the property until as late as 2AM, but amplified music must be turned off at 11PM, no big deal. However, in the MIDDLEOFOURRECEPTION they told our DJ she had to shut off the music at 10pm, it might seem like an hour isn’t that big of a deal, but our ceremony didn’t even start until 6:30. A majority of our guests left at that point and we were stuck paying a silent DJ and guestless bartenders for another hour. At 11:30 they insisted that they shut off the field lights leaving us to scramble in the dark and demanding that we leave the property immediately. They weren’t at all apologetic and were rather hostile. Glashoffs failed to tell us that THEYDIDN’T HAVE A PROPEREVENTPERMITANDWEREINVOLVEDWITH A BATTLEAGAINSTTHEIRSURROUNDINGNEIGHBORSANDTHECITYOFFAIRFIELDOVERNOISEANDLIGHTGREIVANCES. We felt extremely deceived by Glashoffs and would not recommend this venue! BRIDESBEWARE

My husband and I just had our wedding at Glashoff Farms and I cannot recommend this place enough! It is such a gorgeous venue, is off the beaten path and offers a quiet location with tons of charm. My family and I have also purchased some of their produce and the quality is also very good, and always fresh. But the best part about this place is the owners. Everyone we’ve met in the family is so nice and welcoming and just down to earth. They literally went above and beyond all of my expectations as a wedding venue and were very, very affordable. Everyone who attended had such wonderful things to say, and I would recommend them in a heartbeat to anyone looking for a venue in the greater Bay Area! This was such a pleasant experience and it was so great to work with the Glashoffs on our special day, that I wish I could give them more than five stars!

Oh. My. Gosh. Today I came across their stall at the Ferry Building Saturday Market and I was just so impressed! I don’t know what made stop, maybe it was the packaging, the friendly vendors or the fact that this is a Low Sugar preserve but I am so glad I did. I sampled the raspberry preserve which was soo darn good! and then I tried the Meyer Lemon Jelly. This was THEBEST thing I have EVER tasted! I got myself a small jar of it and lets just say that in 10 minutes most of it was gone!!! I would describe it as dose Sunshine and Happiness. Really. I couldn’t stop smiling. Get this Jelly!

Bought a jar of their raspberry preserves this past Saturday at the San Francisco Farmers Market. Supermarket preserves have little raspberry taste and a lot of artificial sweetner taste, even ones that claim to be organic have added preservatives. Glasshoff preserves are perfect. Incredibly satisfying on toast and even in my raspberry vinaigrette. The sugar does not overpower the taste of the raspberries. Just perfect.
