Sooooo, this is an update for those who read my first review. My nail was infected and I was given antibiotics. I will not be returning to this place.

3.5 stars– Doesn’t mean this is a bad review; the shop and service is standard, up to par. I’ve been to Crystal Nails via recommendation so far for two fill-ins and a pedi. Crystal’s is your standard, nail shop. I do like them so far for understanding thick acrylic and how to shape it. Some shops prefer thin, super natural nails that aren’t as durable(no time for broken nail repair!) When I’ve gone, the tech inspects my acrylic and will chip away at acrylic that appears old or prone to lifting.(The acrylic shouldn’t be that old since I came two weeks prior, but I appreciate it nonetheless.) Most techs will just slap new acrylic over your nails for the sake of getting you out of the door. The pedi was satisfactory, The chairs have massage pads in them. Prices are reasonable. The polish selection is decent, though you will need bring your own if there is an exact color you want. One visit, a girl needed to use the bathroom. The sign reads«out of order.» The girl remarked that they just didn’t want people using the bathroom. She goes inside and uses it anyway. The sign has remained on my return visit. TIPS: Call ahead. Tip is cash only or let the tech know to add it to your tab. I keep forgetting!
