If I could give less than 1 star i would. Had a terrible experience here. There was 7 people upfront and no one would turn around to give us the time of day. Went to load wire and a woman was at the back on her phone and wouldn’t move out of the way of traffic. Chris was the ONLY one willing to help us out. Everyone else needs to be sat down and taught customer service. terrible time will not be back!

Fix & Feed is the more local alternative to Lowe’s for hardware, lumber, paint and stuff similar. Think of it as an Ace Hardware with lumber. They also sell farm feed such as cattle feed, chicken feed, etc. The store is big and they usually have those unique hard to find items. The only problem with this store is that they can not keep the hired help, so there are always new faces that do not know where anything is, can’t locate items on the computer, and when you ask for«fence stays» they get this glazed over«I do not know what the f^#k you are talking about» look. I asked for fence stays and the kid asked me if they were made out of glass – I kid you not! The only guy in the store that has any sense is a guy nicknamed«Catfish». Without Catfish, the collective intelligence of all of the employees of the whole business drops by 80%. If one buys something out in the yard, it is hit and miss if you will get good service. The guys out in the yard are not very nice either. They look at customers as interruptions, or at least that is how I always feel. So in short, if you shop and Fix & Feed, you need to be smart and NOT need any assistance. The prices are decent and they accept checks, credit cards, and debit cards. I will keep shopping here so long as I do not need any assistance. If I have questions about what I am buying, then I will go to Lowe’s where the folks there usually know what they are talking about.
