Be careful, because one thing here is that they try to steal the table that you were sitting at when you get up to dance but that didn’t me bother, the thing that bothered me was that I had purchased a bucket of beers and there was still 2 new beers in a bucket that I payed for and they didn’t want to give us back the beers. Security had to be called and they got kicked out for getting all ghetto and crazy and I got my 2 beers back and our table.

Love coming here however the security are always very rude yelling at you to move seems you can’t stand nowhere I know you may be blocking but don’t yell at us can they kindly come over and say it nicer jeez Then outside they practically tell you to Eff off. Can you imagine if after you eat at a restaurant they pretty much say thanks for eating here now EFFOFF!!! and yeah come again and spend money again so we can treat you like trash afterwards they need some lessons in manners

The Good– This place is cheap cheap CHEAP! $ 4 For a Rumchata/Oj drink, $ 3 beers, $ 14 buckets. Epic pool tables with lots of chubby gals in heels that cut off their circulation and skirts that are too small. It’s actually pretty entertaining, even sober. The Bad– The music is sketchy. First I was dropping it like it was hot to old school Chicago house only to pick it up like it was cold to slow oldies. My brain and knees were so confused. The Ugly– The hostesses. I guess they can’t help that though. Will I be back? Uh absolutely! Oh there’s also a dress code, so you stupid cholos better leave the Ben Davis and Cortez at home.

First time here. Decent price on drinks. They could do with out the $ 5 cover, I am literally stepping into a time warp. Circa 1998. I will probably not come back even though I had fun. was going to step out side and was told I was going to get recharged the $ 5 to get get back in … Wtf is up with that. $ 2 for water! Get the F*** out of here. …. I am done … Good for the locals that have nothing to do. #ratchet …

Out of all the clubs and lounges in Chicago I chose Studio 63 to host my birthday and so happy I did. I frequent bars at Wicker Park and enjoy a classy night in River North but I chose Studio 63 because of the MUSIC and buckets of Models which are 5/$ 15!!! Saturday night is Latino and old school house music which I am a fan of!!! Studio 63 is all about having a good time, drinking beer with your friends, and dancing. My party was greeted by Nick who I think is the manager? yet he was so kind and awesome to check up on our party from time to time. The place is not pretentious like a River North club nor ratchet like a dive bar. It is just right. Also there are plenty of single Mexican men there to sweep you off your feet and spin you around on the dancefloor. Note that my party consisted of five Filipino women and one Indian man… so if you’re not Mexican and consider coming here… don’t be intimidated and just come! :D

Dont waste you time driving here, i was met by aggressive door men who wouldnt let me in when i was dressed in formal attire(button down, tie, vest, slacks, dress shoes) only to be told«we don’t want THAT in here» referring to my dreadlocs. They also told me braids are NOT allowed. Under the uniform section on their website it mentions NONEOFTHIS. so, primary hair styles for young african american males is not allowed. Sounds like a not so hidden agenda to me. Rude. Racist. Not worth it.

Listen to me when I say this place is ghetto as it comes, it looks dirty, hoopty, & the people look the same, but when I tell you I had the best time dancing here, I mean it! The men aren’t afraid to ask you to dance & they know how to dance! If your feeling fat, ugly, on your period, or simply just don’t wanna get all fixed up, like I did, than this unstuffy small rat hole is your spot! I sure had a blast & I would go back.

Personally, I had a blast. We went on Wednesday so there was no cover. Drinks were super cheap and pretty damn good. Yes… the building is super old… but everyone from the bouncers to the lady in the bathroom to the bartenders(Bill and Deb and some other ones I’m ashamed to say I did not ask the name of) were super nice. Even though the bar was packed, you will definitely have their undivided attention. Music was pretty sweet too… I would have hoped for more merengue and reggaeton… but it was all a really nice variety. There’s also pool! Totally random. totally awesome. It is a pretty diverse. age wise. Yes you have a handful of creeps. but not enough to dampen the mood. I had fun and I would totally go back again. The only negative is the hangover I had the next day… but that’s a small price to pay. The reason I give it 4 stars instead of 5 is simply because while this place is so much fun, «as good as it gets» is pushing it. So it gets a solid 4.5ish.

Hmmmm… all I can really say. Theres a cover charge of $ 5 at the door, pretty cheap drinks, and a decent size dance floor. The music was straight but just wasnt feelin the vibe. Maybe my friend and I should’ve stayed longer to give it a chance but we just weren’t impressed and left in a hurry. They stay open till 4 am fyi.

This was an unplanned adventure for our group of 20-somethings who usually frequent downtown bars. It was definitely a memorable outing but not entirely due to good reasons. The building itself is decrepit and kind of dirty with outdated everything — furniture, facilities, etc. The overall age of the crowd is also older, which did make for interesting people watching. Dancing was still fun, and even with«old school music Fridays» mixed in with a lot of Latin/salsa tunes, there was a decent amount of Top 40 pop mixed into the play list to cater to others in the crowd. Although there is a $ 5 cover, you really won’t find many dance clubs in this area of the ‘burbs, let alone any that are open until 4 a.m. Plus, if you are not into the song(s) the DJ’s playing at any given moment, go over to the pool table and Foosball table area to play for free.

I’ve been here plenty of times. It’s definitely a «last resort» club. I would never wake up Saturday thinking, «Man, I really need to go to Studios tonight.» It’s the place you go to if your friend is having a birthday party or the club your currently at is not as great as you thought. There is the biggest mix of people here. Some scary, some not. It’s super cheap also! Bottom line is-I always have a good time at Studios, it’s inexpensive, fun and carefree.

Look the place is what it is… a Southwest Side«nightclub.» It’s a dump, but the music is decent and cost is cheap. It’s fun to go and relax with you friends, dance with some girls, and have some fun. If you’re looking for upscale, don’t go here. If you want a no frills local spot, this will work fine.

Went here for the first time this weekend. Looks like a typical neighborhood dive bar from the outside. Once you get inside you quickly realize that it is not what you expected. Large dance floor, music videos being projected all over the place, 3 coin op pool tables, bathroom attendant, etc. The atmosphere, I’m not from the neighborhood(keep that in mind), is very interesting. 80s — 90s Latin freestyle/pop. Lisa Lisa & Cult Jam, Sheena Easton, Stevie B, etc. Not being from the neighborhood, I was clearly out of place. The place was packed and they have a semi dress code(no sneakers and such). I didn’t see any fights or anything, a little bit of attitude in the air though. A quick comment on the price. $ 5 at the door and a mandatory $ 2 coat check. A few hours of drinks and shots, drum roll… $ 25! Cheapest ever! Funny place! Need to see it for your self! Doubt I’ll go back though!

I love this place. It’s so cheap to party like a rock star when you’re here. Now I’m not going sugar coat anything, as with most places you will find a few hooligans, but that came as a given due to the location of the place. What’s really amazing about this place is the age range, which on the occasion I was there had to be 21 – 50. I believe the reason for such a wide range is because they play old high energy 80’s hits, old house music, and of course all the current mainstream club music. I really enjoyed this place primarily because the drinks were super cheap. $ 1.00 drink Friday, that’s right all beer and drinks are a buck. Cover is $ 5.00, and I honestly believe that $ 20.00 will get you a long way. The dance floor is not real big, but it serves it’s purpose. Parking is available, but does get full, so better get in slightly early. So over all, I can’t wait to go there again, and party it up.

STUDIOS, look the place might not be a fancy downtown night club, but it doesn’t try to be either, this place is where you go when you wanna have a drink, maybe play some pool, dance or just hang out by the bar. A lot a people will say it’s full of thugs, but trust me I’ve never had a problem when I been here, security is pretty much on point breaking up fights and throwing people out that are causing problems. Just want to add that I live in Summit and I noticed someone wrote in their review that you have to watch out when leaving, this is not true, as a matter a fact this area might be the safest when this place is open cause Summit Pd always has a squad car parked right in front or just patrolling the parking lots. Look this place might come across as an over sized dive bar, but that’s the charm of the place. Just to add you have a higher chance of getting shot going to buy a Burrito in Summit late night than partying at Studios and walking to your car.

Cheap place to drink and dance. Usually never over $ 5 for cover — although you can print off a coupon on their website for free admission. Special events will cost a little more. Fridays are $ 1.00 drink nights and they play old school house. The crowd looks a bit rough from time to time… but never have run into any trouble partying here and always meet some cool people. The only downside is parking… they have plenty of free parking, but the cops are always present and scoping out the cars. While this does not bother me personally, it does seem like they are marking cars so when they leave they can pull them over. I’m not a big fan of this… so we find a place a few blocks away.
