Went here with the intent of purchasing one pastry and left with 6!!! The smell from outside was amazing! Once I saw all the donuts and pastries, I couldn’t just decide on one… And for the price (under$ 7) I couldn’t beat it!!! I definitely recommend this local bakery and will be returning soon!!!

I love this place, but on December 26th at 2:30pm, we witnessed an employee bringing in multiple boxes of Dunkin Donuts through the front door. It leads me to believe the donuts are all outsourced and they only bake the other stuff, I would love some clarification from the owners. I heard back from the owners, they assured me that everything was made on location, not sure why the person was bringing the other items in the bakery, but I believe them, I have always went out of the way to patronize them

They are absolutely wonderful! After a difficult experience at work, they thoughtfully supplied our staff with hot coffee and donuts to lighten the mood. Their food is delicious and they are a great addition to the community!

I was so excited and happy to see that Talerico finally open a bakery of its own.
This small bakery is very neat, clean and it has so many things. The coffee is very good. Not weak or bitter. It actually taste fresh just as everything else here. The sweets are amazing! They have Conchitas! And they are so much better than any mexican bakery I have had here in the US.
I used to work a part time in this backery back in High School and that’s how I know that their goods are the best. I hated to go to certain gas stations just to get their sweets after that.
They should open a bakery in Oak Park so I can have their sweets all the time :-).
Definitely recomend and will be coming back to stock up.

It’s okay. It’s $ 6 for a dozen doughnuts. I’m not sure if that was an evening special or normal prices. Each doughnut is listed at $.79. It’s a mix between a donut shop and a panaderia, but doesn’t quite hit the mark on either one. For Mexican pan, I’d go to Karina’s bakery down the street. For donuts, I’d head over the Honey Fluff in Countryside.

I called at 6 am asking if they would be able to do a custom order birthday cake for that day. The woman that took the call was extremely helpful, and told me that I would have a cake ready for pick up by 10:30. I can not recommend this place enough.

What a great new place right across the street from Argo Community High School! They serve Metropolis coffee, which is roasted right here in Chicago and is some of the best around. You can see their baked goods are fresh because when you walk in you can see the workers prepping many of the items right behind the counter. Their prices are also extremely reasonable, 99 cents for a blueberry muffin. I’ll definitely be back!
