The fish is described as a mild white fish. Ask what kind of fish and they say Balsa. That fish is a catfish from Vietnam. It’s a garbage fish raised in pens in a sewer infested River. They could use cod or other white fish but they are cheap. They lie they know if they said catfish no one would buy it. Where else do they take shortcuts. Don’t go.

The restaurant it very elegant and the service is outstanding a great place to entertain guests from out of town, and the food was incredible… you need to try the restaurant. .you won’t be sorry!!! Oh ya and the cost was under a $ 100.00 for 4 people…

We were here once in the past and the food was mediocre. We went again this week and were pleasantly surprised. The menu was updated and the food was so much better. The prices are still reasonable for the price and the selection is varied, chicken, beef, seafood and pasta, and sandwiches for a lighter meal. We’ve been going out of the area for dining but now we are putting the Sandpiper on our list.

I was there today for lunch with a huge group of people. I had a BLT and it was excellent. I hesitate to order bacon anywhere because it’s usually under cooked(for my liking) but this was delicious and reasonably priced. My fries, on the other hand, could have been cooked just a smidge more but overall it was a really nice lunch. The wait staff was friendly and very attentive. I will definitely go back.

My 90 year old mother was in yesterday and asked if she could switch out the French fries for a little side of pasta. First she was told it would be $ 2.00 ok, that was fine, then waitress came back and said the manager told her it would be $ 5.00!!! How crazy is that for a small side of pasta. Needless to say they said forget the whole meal and left. Not to mention the food is substandard. Too bad as the location is great. Haven’t heard one good thing about this place.

My wife and I had heard mixed reviews and decided to try the restaurant. The restaurant seats a lot of people in several rooms. We dined in the room that has a bar. The view of the golf course is just OK. Everything seemed clean. The menu is varied and reasonably priced. I ordered the chicken cordon bleu. It is fried, which was not my idea of the dish, but it was good. The veg was green beans, which arrived cold. The baked potato was way over cooked. My wife had chicken piccata, which was served over pasta. She found it to be virtually tasteless. Our waiter paid no attention to us after taking our order. Neither he nor anyone else stopped to ask about our food. We waited at least 15 minutes for the dishes to be cleared once we were finished.

We were two couples out for an early dinner on a Wednesday. Fortunately had a window seat which was nice. Fresh, warm bread was brought to the table which was good. Salads do not come with entrée which was disappointing. I made a poor choice of the chicken piccata. Very bland meal. My husband had the chicken cordon bleu which he really liked. The green beans were cold and the baked potato was WAY overdone. Our friends both had the mussels marinara which they loved. My biggest complaint was service. 2 hours for a quick dinner is insane. We could never find our server and dirty plates sat in front of us for a very long time. Prices aren’t bad, but they need more help.

My husband and I ate with our senior friends for late lunch and by evening, we were both having stomach pains! Now, three days later we are still sick! Over cooked and terribly slow service make this restaurant a no no for future visits.

I was kind of surprised this was not on Unilocal yet as it was very busy and apparently a popular place located at a golf course. The restaurant décor and dining area are very inviting with multiple dining areas lending opportunities for private gatherings. The waitstaff are very cordial and attentive. We had a variety of different foods as we all wanted something different and of course tried everyone’s meal. Isn’t that what friends are for? Food sampling??? All entries come with 2 sides but those are limited including fries, baked potato? Mixed vegetables, rice or coleslaw. Good was good but not great. Prices very good though and fresh hot bread was excellent. They have specials very night so make sure you get told about those as our waitress did not tell us but luckily we did see them posted on our way in. Drinks were very inexpensive at $ 3 for wine and mixed drinks.
