A Loving Touch

I hesitate to even give this establishment one star. I have a few friends with furry pals that have used these ladies a couple of times and no one has been happy so far. Trying to give them the benefit of the doubt, I used their services on two occasions. This last experience was the cherry on top of a horrific sundae.
My large Golden Retriever received the worst haircut imaginable (he was a very affable dog — would sit still if you used a weed-​whacker to groom him, so blaming him for being uncooperative is a joke); and just last week I took my American Eskimo (smaller dog) in for a cut and he got more cuts (bleeding) than he bargained for.
The ladies called my cell phone to pick up my dog (at 11:15); when I arrived at noon with my special needs son, one of them VERY rudely asked «what happened? did you get lost?». After stepping over the dead roaches in the entry way, I paid the $ 50(!!!) for my dog’s awful haircut, led him out to the car — him limping because something had clearly hurt his ankle during the few hours he was in their «care».
I would NEVER recommend these horrible women to anyone with an animal. They’re unfit to deal with their human clients; I can’t imagine how they treat the animals when left to their own devices. My dog’s bloodied leg, injured foot and burned torso speak for themselves. Just AWFUL.
