Where do I start? Well, if you are looking for an RV with reasonable pricing they are good. Watch their Sale and Finance teams especially if you are trading in an RV. Integrity is not their strength. Their strategy is to verbally appraise your old RV high so you will agree to the deal and then once you bring your RV in they will «inspect» your RV and deliver the «unfortunate» news that it actually appraises much lower. The kicker is by the time you aware of the new overall cost of the deal they have installed the new hitch, hooked up the new RV and you family is all excited. Very smooth Richardson’s very smooth. Next, their Service Department is a complete joke and attention to detail is completely and craftsmanship is absent. I had to make three repeat trips for them to completely address the multitude of warranty issues. I even took pictures and sent them to their service agent so we were all on the same page of what needed to be addressed. I spoke with the GM and he was very arrogant like I owed him something. Last time I checked I was the one paying money in this arrangement. They have the best Parts selection around and that is all they have going for them. Overall if you like to be frustrated and post rants like this one, Richardson’s is the place for you!

Was about to buy a private party used class «C» that i saw on craigslist, but stopped at Richardson’s Rv in Menifee, CA (used to be Sun City). I asked to inspect class c motor homes that were less than 10 years old & was taken to a recent trade in model Jayco (2010 model) that was perfect. When i admitted that I was planning to go see a private party class c later that day, the sales rep informed me that should i buy the jayco, this Richardsons rv company would include a safety check, plus go through all of the appliances — brakes– etc. and insure me that they would teach me how to opperate the rv appliances prior to my final acceptance. Well long story short, i did check out the private party vehicle which, even though was a few bucks less. the ownder of the craigslist private seller got mad when i asked to have it checked out by my own mechanic but still let me do it (at my cost) & the mechanic let me know there were some issues with the brakes & the refridgerator. in reality, the private party sell was trying to cover up that motor homes flaws & when i asked, would not pay for the repairs included in his asking price (about a $ 2,100 repair quote. I ended up buying the Richardson’s Jayco (used RV) and feel great knowing that i didnt have to keep spending money after buying it, just to enjoy my first trip.
couldnt be happier by buying from a dealer (as they made is all straight up). I would recommend Richardson’s to my friends if asked.
