Wow. Well, after nearly four years, long after we had given up, the statue finally arrived. It was headless, but luckily the head was included and easily attached with super glue. The statue is excellent; beautifully sculpted and finished. I have never had any argument with Bryan’s impressive talent. My issue with him and Arkham Studios is that it would have been nice to know ahead of time that it was going to take almost 4 years, instead of being told«he’s waitin’ for ya!» and«I’ll be sending your statue next week!» and so forth, over and over for the first two years after we ordered(and then dead silence after that). If I had known ahead of time that average turnaround was four years, then I could have decided whether or not it was worth it to me to wait that long. I have to say this is the longest I’ve had to wait for anything. I could have conceived and borne two children and/or completed a four-year degree in the time it took for a simple order to be filled. If that kind of turnaround is acceptable to you, then by all means, I recommend Arkham Studios. Their artistry is A+, but their customer service is D-.

Unbelievably, after about 5 years… I finally received my Cthulu sculpture from Arkham Studios. It’s a pity I bought it as a celebratory gift for myself for my college graduation and then had to wait half a decade to get it BUT in Bryan’s defense he is indeed going through the epic backlog of orders and to have received this at all is impressive after all this time… And it is a rather awesome looking sculpture indeed.

So we’ve all seen the reviews now– there was a two year hiatus with orders. I’m not a personal friend, but I know these guys via the internet and a «con» gathering. I can say there was a series of events and upheaval, as well as a few high profile jobs like the HPL bust and the Poe bust… Regardless of all this, MYOWN experience is that i did receive the bust. Yes, I had to wait two years, but it’s a great piece and worth the price and the wait. Is that kind of wait time good customer service? Don’t know, I don’t craft statues myself, but I got mine, and it’s a very regal sculpture. The packing process was also very extensive and careful– all horns, flame and points were intact, despite the box was pretty beat up and torn, but that’s the USPS for you, after all. Satan now resides on my altar, a very wicked and detailed piece for sure. I know many of you are still waiting– and maybe that’s not right– but hey, I got mine! Hail Satan!

Satan Bust [24 April 2015] On this overcast April date, a mere six to Walpurgisnacht Sabbath, after about five years, I was pleasantly surprised to finally receive order #1666 — the Satan bust from Arkham Studios, and it is splendid. Highly detailed and rendered in a stone black finish, on a trapezoid base festooned with a plaque bearing the mighty name of Satan in arcane English script, the filigree on the foundational base gives the impression of cloven hoofs, as the flames of Hell swirl about Him as He looks on imperiously from atop a bookcase, and is quite a nice complement to The Noctuary as is the Magus LaVey statue, especially after a hellemental benediction greeting. Even so now, that certain sensation of a Sinister Presence is increased as subtle expressions seem to manifest in reflective circulation. LaVey Statue [16 August 2007] I was recently pleased to receive this wonderful limited edition tribute to Our founder to grace The Noctuary, and Am very impressed with it. The detail is amazing, from the facial expression right down to the lapels and even the earring, granting it a certain presence; the statue now stands upon the Library mantle as he approvingly oversees the nefarious activities occurring in The Blackthorne Lair. Positioned in an elegant posture of invocation, reminiscent of The Ritual Chamber scene from Speak of The Devil, he pridefully calls upon the name of Satan with might and strength. The quality is exceptional, standing 13″ tall upon a platform embossed with the lightning bolt sigil, grasping the Sword of Power. Interestingly, it seems like it has always been here, as he takes his place within this own ‘Black House’ environment. Mr. Moore is a true artisan, from the Munsters figures to this magnificent piece, and this veritable heirloom shall remain timelessly appreciated. _____________ Note: The quality of the products are superb, but the manufacture and delivery time has been known to be extensive. The company has also recently come into new management, and long-standing orders are finally being shipped.

These folks are thieves. I ordered a Cthulhu statue from them in November of last year for $ 135 and after initially telling me it would take«approximately four weeks» to «hand craft» put me off again and again with stories of moving, disorganization and other distress and, finally, simply stopped responding to my emails. I never got what I ordered and I’ve never gotten my money back. Avoid doing business with the proprietors, Bryan Moore and Heather Saenz: they’re irresponsible, unethical dolts!
