I was ready to give this place 4 stars, until I get home and realized that a WHOLEORDER of tacos was missing(four tacos). Come to find out, they did the same thing to my dad a few weeks before! I don’t get it, are the employees charging for the food yet taking it for themselves or saving on inventory? The girl assured me that all my food was in the bag TWICE. Ya I guess I should have checked before I left, but hey I was hungry and needed to get home after a long day. When I realized this I called them and they really didn’t care, I asked if they would come deliver it but they said no and I really wasn’t about to leave my house again to get a refund of get the rest of my food. The only reason I gave them two stars is because the place looked clean and the prices were decent. The food that they did manage to give us was okay, not too sure about the quality of the meat. Would not waste my time to give them another try. All I wanted was some tacos…

Decent Mexican food. I ordered the 4 taco plate w/2 asada &2 pollo. It took the guy awhile to answer my question about whether they could do a rice/beans combo w/the 4 taco plate(they don’t have it listed as a combo like the 3 taco plate). Came with a drink option so I chose the horchata, which was pretty good. Food is definitely filling so that’s a plus!

Bad tacos. I had carnitas and carne asada and they were both dry and flavorless. Sad tortillas. Even sadder, strange salsa. If you’ve ever had a good street taco before, you’ll find this place lacking. The 2 stars are for the came asada quesadilla which is just ok.

I just love this Daniels Tacos. I’ve been coming here forever since my highschool was so nearbye. Loving that they are expanding their restaraunts, but this one is by far the best! With yummy grilled onion and jelepenos being cooked outside you can’t go wrong! And they are open late which is always a plus for dem late night cravings! I love their asada tacos and their el pastor tacos, I pretty much like all the food so you probably can’t go wrong. Daniel’s keeps it real.

My favorite place for tacos. The flavor of the pastor is incredible. Plus they give you grilled onions and jalapeño. Wish the hot sauce was as good as Marielas of Los Angeles. Highly recommended.

Went last night. Got a steak burrito. Very bland. The meat isn’t even that real carne asada more like ground turkey. Won’t be going back

GREAT, INEXPENSIVE&OPENUNTIL2AM!!! $ 1.45 for a lean, tasty soft taco! Your choice of meat includes: asada, buche, chorizo, carnitas and pollo. It smells terrific, even as you drive up into the parking lot. There are onions and peppers on the grill outside and outdoor tables with heat lamps. Their self-serve salsa bar has hot red sauce, a glorious green sauce, an avocado sauce with a bite, tomatoes and onions and cilantro. They have a breakfast menu that I have never tried, because Daniel’s is mainly a late-night-after-drinking kinda place. I love their hurache, which is a sorta of tostada but without the crunch. They top it with avocado and it’s delicious. During the wintertime, they have Champurrado– a Mexican hot chocolate made with corn flour– probably an acquired taste unless you grew up with it– but I love it! During the rest of the year they have a very yummy Horchata(a cinnamony rice drink), Jamaica(made from hibiscus flowers), and Orange Bang(like an Orange Julius). I may try other taco places, but I wheats come back to Daniel’s…

The bean, cheese, and rice burrito. So simple, yet SODELICIOUS. Especially with salsa verde. Huge portion at $ 3, can’t beat it! Friendly and fast service as well!

My first time at Daniel’s Tacos. I came to eat here with my white girlfriend… and everybody stared at us hahaha. But we ordered the lorenza, 4 tacos and a sope. The handmade tortillas were delicious. I must admit I’ve had better tacos before. But they were pretty delicious. The sope was pretty big and had a generous portion of meat. The lorenza was also big the tortilla was crunchy. It had a generous portion of meat also. I’ve had better Al Pastor meat before. But it wasn’t that bad. Will be going again and trying out the other items in their menu.

Was starving at work and found this place that was very close. I called and placed an order and they told me it would be ready in about 10 minutes. Very easy to find and lots of parking! I had gotten the chicken torta & tacos just to try both and they were both delicious. There is just a little bit too much of onions in the tacos. So if you don’t like lots of onions, make sure you tell them. The chicken torta was amazing. One of the best I have tried. Will definitely be ordering from here on my lunch breaks more often!

Despite having friends who are not fans of this place, it’s one of my favorite Mexican restaurants. The tortas, quesadillas, and tacos are all good. No complaints. I’ve been there at night where they are grilling some of the meat outside, and they you sides of onion and jalapenos. There’s also a neat«sauce bar» outside. My favorite thing to order here is the mulita. It is the best I’ve ever had. So so good. I highly recommend trying it.

Believe. The. Hype. These were the best tacos I’ve ever had. This place is nestled in the Valley, in a visibly less safe-feeling neighborhood. If you drive around enough you’ll find street parking. Service: 5⁄5. The woman was really nice and walked me through the menu and what I should try. And she was really friendly and helpful overall. All I can ask Food: 5⁄5. I tried the sampler which comes with six different tiny tacos. Good god these are so good. They pack so much flavor and variety of texture into every taco. They hand make their tiny tortillas as well. Coming from a Spanish background the tacos were the best I’ve ever had. The flavors were rich and perfectly balanced. The garnishes of avocado, sour cream and cheese made everything come together amazingly. Just the best, seriously. There’s so many different tacos you can order, I’d absolutely get the sampler with a different six again. If it’s your first time, get that sampler. As a whole, awesome awesome place with well warranted reviews, a must try.

Yes! After a night of drinking beg your designated driver to take you to this place! 4 tacos for $ 5.00 was so good! I ordered two linguas(tongues) and one al pastor. Best decision ever. It is an outdoor seating venue and the tacos come in just a plain tortillas and meat. The condiments such as the onions, the salsa, green sauce, red sauce, what have you is outside. You order at a window and you get your order outside with the man grilling outside. Since it closes late it’s a great place to come if you’re around the area!

I would say I am stuck between a 3.5 rating but I am rounding up because the staff is super nice and attentive. The cashier is always speaking to me in Armenian and he does a fantastic job! Of course I gotta return the gesture and respond in Spanish. Now I did not retain much from my 4 years of Espanol but I can definitely order me some tacos. How are the tacos you may ask? They’re alright. Can’t say they are the best tacos ever but I like the atmosphere of the place and the fact that they are open late. What do I know anyway, I’m just a gringa. lol The tacos come bare, just the meat and tortilla so I suggest you fill up your containers with salsa while you are waiting. The tacos are made outside on a giant grill and they call out your number when it is ready. Be alert though because they do call it out in Spanish. We nearly always miss our number but somehow they know the tacos are for us and they bring it to our table anyway. They also have grilled pepper and onions which go great with your taco. I have tried the asada, lengua, and al pastor and the lengua is definitely my favorite. It’s a fun spot to check out late at night when you’re in the mood for tacos. I want to say that they make handmade tortillas because I recall seeing the tortilla press but I can’t remember at the moment. Maybe the handmade tortillas are for other items on their menu??? In any case, wouldn’t hurt to give them a shot.
