Stopped off on my way to Columbus to try the Nashville Hot Chicken. The location is just off of 71 but you have to drive back past the nearby hotel to get to the parking lot. It is one of those KFC/Long John Silver combo places. It appeared clean and the service was quick and courteous. As far as a KFC goes, this is basically your standard. I ordered the Nashville Hot Chicken out of pure curiosity. I am not a regular patron of KFC but the commercials got the best of me. I had the Tender Basket which came with 3 tenders, a biscuit and coleslaw but no drink for $ 5.49. The Chicken was prepared by pouring the Nashville Hot Sauce overtop and the addition of a sliced dill pickle on each piece. I will admit the sauce and chicken was very good. I’d order it again if I was at a KFC. This was probably the best tasting chicken I’ve had from them. The sauce pooled up and was good to dip the biscuit in. Coleslaw was pretty standard. My curiosity was satisfied.
