Here I am as promised.
I had made a 3:30 appt with Megan S who was all ready when I got there.
Megan listened to the comments I had about needing an easy style because i like to style a little and run out the door. Megan helped me strategize and then did my color. It is great! Just the right blend of my own color and it works with the highlights I had left over. As a result of her work my hair is very nicely blended.
For the cut, I had an asymmetrical look before and wanted to keep some of the wispy length in back and thin it out, so that it is easy and carefree.
I received a gentle layering and Megan is very careful not to pull your hair/​scalp.
Megan listens. Bottom line.
This was a great experience and I can recommend Megan.
The entire salon seemed busy and everyone, both men and women, seemed very happy with their results.
I feel very happy with my new style and color.

Diana Escobar has joined the women at Glo Salon in Sunland. Diana is an absolute artist at styling & coloring hair. Diana has been styling my hair for 10 years and I am always happy with her work. She is also great at «new look» makeovers. The salon is clean and pretty, a very nice environment. Go pamper yourself!

I have a very similar situation with one client above. I came there once and Megan served me, which is not bad. However, I have to say that although her is not very skilled but at least her service was nice. Unfortunately the next time I came again, it is very unhappy one. I came on Saturday want to get an appointment and Lisa help me arranged one with Megan. So I wait till Tuesday s afternoon 2 hour before I am going there, Megan call me she cannot take my appointment, and she even said she has no idea who put that appointment on her schedule. But my nail has been stayed for more than two weeks and I really need to take them off soon. So I asked her could you help me take off the nail today and I could come on other day for a new one, so that only will take her least then 3 min. But she keep saying no and say the appointment should not be there. It is sooo disappointed!

I’ve been here once. I got a regular trim/​haircut. I have long hair and have layers. I also had bangs at the time.
A minute or two after walking in and going to front desk, someone who was doing nails if I needed help. I told them I had an appointment. They told me my stylist was not in yet (I was a little early) and said she would be in soon. I looked around and didn’t see a place to sit so I just stood at the front for a few minutes. Then, I spotted there was a place to wait if I kept walking into the salon. so I went and waited there. The couch was very comfy and homey.
I was happy with the haircut. Pretty straightforward and standard. Nothing out of the ordinary. It was ok. The hairdresser (Nikki) was really nice and really friendly. The very last part of the haircut was a bang trim. This is the part I wasn’t satisfied with, which I would think would be the easiest. She did t take the time to section out my bangs before trimming… just trimmed with the part it already had. Wish she would have sectioned since it was kinda uneven/​crocked. Then she did a few snips to the bangs (not much effort). Spent a minute or two trimming bangs. Then she half assed blow dried/​tried to style bangs and said something like… I’m not good at doing bangs. Then she said I was welcome to fix them myself using her blowdryer, etc. When I got home I realized my bangs were super uneven. I had to re-​trim them myself to try to fix them so I didnt look ridiculous with super uneven bangs.
Overall, I’d say my cut and experience was ok.

After trying many different hairstylists, I finally found Megan maybe six, seven years ago. I have never before been able to relax and just let a stylist do what they want. But Megan knows what I like and I can trust her completely. We have excellent rapport and she’s a sweetheart. My kids love her too.

I have been having my hair done by Megan at Glo Salon for years. She is positively the best stylist in the area. I would never go anywhere else. The salon is nice and clean and the people who work there are all really great. Every time i see Megan, i leave the salon feeling like a Million bucks. She is absolutely amazing.

What a great place! I followed Megan M. from her other location and I am very happy with the great people and services. Megan is, of course, the best blow-​out and stylist around. I would follow her anywhere. Convenient location and very friendly staff. I highly recommend.

Came here riding on the tail coats of reviews based on Nikki’s Old Towne salon.
Took my niece here for a trim. Surprisingly very close to home and easy to find. Scheduled an appointment with Nikki around 11am on a Tuesday and was able to fit a hair cut in at 2pm. Flexible scheduling and efficient — thank goodness!
My niece came in quite nervous due to some hair trauma she had with a previous stylist, at the end of this session, she was all smiles from ear to ear. Being 16 is tough!
$ 20 for the whole cut. I gave Nikki an extra $ 5 for tip.
What can I say? When my niece is happy, I’m happy.
FYI, it was for a CUT ONLY. No shampoo/​conditioner or blow out was done since my niece’s hair is naturally straight and doesn’t need much fuss with a blow dryer, straighter, or curling iron.
I think the real test of her skills will probably come in when I come in with my long, thick wavy mane that I have been growing out for the last several months.

I was referred to Randi at Glo Salon in the end of sep and wow I’ve been hooked ever since! She is absolutely amazing and I don’t think I’ll ever let anyone else touch my nails! She has ever color gel I can dream of. And not to mention to she puts up with how picky I am about my nails. She is so sweet and I would definitely recommend her!

I have been here once before and had a wonderful experience with Lisa Lee. Unfortunately she’s taking some time off so they set me up with Megan this time. I have never been so unhappy before, yes my roots are now gone on the crown of my head but she left the ones underneath totally untouched. I paid money and a good tip for this? If i had known before getting home I wouldnt have tipped. Now i have to drive back to get it fixed with the little to no free time during their hours and the drive is farther than Id like. Next time, ONLY Lisa will be getting my business.
