Had a burrito. Decent. Small place. Not fancy. The service was good though and everyone was super nice. Food was nice and hot, and came out quickly. I’d come back for some quick, fast, cheap eats!

This Mexican food joint is in a small shopping center on Sunland Blvd. the staff is nice and friendly and the place is always pretty clean. Which is always good when it comes to food establishments. I have tried a few of their burritos over the years I don’t really have a favorite one per se but I will say it’s because it’s so hard to find a favorite one. It’s a bit much don’t you think? That many varieties for a burrito? I guess I’ll have to come back and try again until I find my favorite one.

–DON’T EAT in front of me while am the only one waiting to order from you. –DONT’T use tomatoes out of a can(salsa bar sucked) –USEFRESH tomatoes to improve on the salsa bar. –MURP is best description of the chicken burrito.

I lived in the area for a couple of years before I even tried this place. After my first visit, I was hooked. I am a believer that you can always judge a Mexican restaurant by its cheese enchilada.(If you can mess up a cheese enchilada, I’m not trusting you with meat.) So for my first visit, I ordered the 2 cheese enchiladas which came with rice and beans on the side. The beans and rice were good not great… What you would could find at any local Mexican food joint. The enchiladas on the other hand were PERFECT. The tortillas were soft and moist, not chalky… The cheese was abundant and gooey throughout both ends of the enchilada. The big star though was the ENCHILADASAUCE. It was amazing. Just the right amount of spices(without being spicy.) Even if you order a burrito, you can experience this delicious sauce by ordering your burrito«enchilada style.» You would be doing yourself a disservice if you didn’t try this. The ambiance is fine. Not«date-night» fine or anything but I never felt«unsafe» or «dirty» as a reviewer mentioned. Its actually clean and you can see back into part of the kitchen. It is just what you’d expect from a local, affordable Mexican place. I tend to order to-go anyway. They are always on time with pick-up and the food travels well. Their customer service is agreeable and helpful. They are always willing to accommodate a special request.

After hitting up Sun Thrift for some quality used goodies we came here. Ok the location is sketch. You wonder when you park will my car be safe? Will I be safe? This is at 11:00 in the am, not at night mind you. But you say, I’m sacked up what hell let’s do this! Very simple menu tried the huevos rancheros and at $ 5.00 it was decent. They have a few home made salsas, so you can dial it in the way you want. The fresh corn salsa was delicious. The breakfast burrito was very good and came with egg, bacon, cheese, potatoes and beans. Cheese shouldn’t be extra but someone has to pay for Obamacare so why not you and me? They have an orange bang type drink. Breakfast for 2 with drinks was @ $ 16.00. The burritos are good sized and there was half a burrito left to take back to my tent. They have a mucho macho burrito that was perfect for Godzilla. I’m trying that next time and you can have it with sauce and cheese melted on top aka enchilada style. Right? When I’m homeless in my tent at Sunland Park and decide to hit up some kind folks at the Von’s parking lot down the street for some eats money; this is my place! Nice folks are friendly behind the counter.

Ok. They raised the prices. 4 mini tacos. A la carte, no beans or rice. $ 8! $ 8?! They are tiny little tacos! And a veggie burrito(rice, lettuce, onions, tomato, sour cream and cheese) $ 8. Give me a break! I don’t know what this place is thinking. The did is not worth that price. The inside of the place is like any other random taco/burrito spot. Our diner cost close to $ 30. If we want Mexican we are going to drive somewhere else. Even though this is less than a mile from our house. Taco bell is a better deal.

This is a little place that you can have lunch in Sunland. Not fancy but the food is good and reasonably priced. I eat the Quesadilla Suprema or a burrito with sauce and cheese on it.

Misleading to begin with. The sign claims«52 different Burritos», yet there were very few choices. But that aint the point, the point is this, the flavor of the burrito was a pretty big miss. I ordered a mucho burrito(wet burrito)… Basically they had bland meat, the shredded beef was Okay, but the carne asada sucked and tasted quite unfresh. The Jalapeño salsa was decent. Besides the taste of the old carne asada, The burrito was whatever and I think it costed way too much $ 8+… I can go to spots in Covina/Azusa and get wet burritos for $ 5/$ 6, not only are they absolutely delicious, but they are also larger portions than this place. But yeah. I dont rate for cleanliness or service.(But If I did, this place had terrible service) I only rate for quality and taste of the food, and the food was about a 1.5. I am only giving them 2 stars out of pity. I would probably never eat here again even if I lived in the neighborhood.

Stopped in here with a friend on his recommendation and got their Mexican Pizza with shredded beef. It was pretty good! Shredded beef, beans, cheese, corn, tomatoes, sour cream, and guacamole on tortilla chips. The guac could definitely have been thicker like actual guacamole versus the kinda runny, saucy thing they had, but it was still tasty. If you like a little more flavor, add some of their salsa verde to give it an extra little kick. The place could have been cleaner, particularly the tables, but no real complaints here. They have a breakfast burrito special for $ 2.95 before noon on weekdays – I will need to try that.

I agree with the others who have given great reviews on this place, there is a reason it hasn’t gone out of business in this wasteland of businesses called Sunland. And that’s because the food is good and cheap. They have an unlimited salsa bar with amazing salsa! And my hard-shelled tacos are always yummy! I’ve been coming here since I was very little, and they have never disappointed me.

I stopped at this place on the way home since my girlfriend suggested it to me. I order a carnitas tostada and a taco to go. The place was clean and the young lady behind the counter was pleasant. The tostada was tasty and I put the taco in the refrigerator for the next day, I always get something extra in case my girlfriend wants something. They have a large menu, maybe too many choices.

I usually come here on the way to the Angeles range or when visiting friends in the area. Considering the other dining options in Sunland, this place is amazing and is well deserving of my five stars. First, they have a poster of the«Burrito King» by the cashier. Amuses me every time. Second, the staff are friendly and accommodating. If I want bacon in my bean and cheese, they’ll do it. Third, it’s cheap and portions large. The breakfast burritos are great and otherwise, everything is at least average or a little better. Remember than Sunland doesn’t have the best options and this place will taste all the better. Pros: –Good breakfast burritos. –Decent salsa. –Above average burritos. Cons: –Décor(Minus the burrito King poster). –Don’t serve breakfast burritos all day. –No homemade drinks.
