We had a great experience with Richard Stewart and his painters. They aren’t the cheapest, but the amount of professional prep work and care make the price worth it.
We had Window Repair and Restoration (another great company) restore the double-​hung windows in our old house. They all needed to be painted, and we asked Richard Stewart for estimates for that, and also for our patio and all our exterior trim.
The estimate was specific, and when the team came they quietly and cleanly did a GREAT job on our windows. Israel was the foreman, and he asked me my preferences and concerns as they went along. They provided all paint and equipment. A day of rain got in the way, so they brought extra crew the next day to make sure they would be done when promised. And they were. They left everything clean and painted perfectly
Great company. Great quality. The next time we need painting, we will definitely use them again.

Richard Stewart Painting did a FANTASTIC job painting the inside of our house! We closed escrow on our new house the weekend before Christmas and needed rooms painted before family arrived. Richard made arrangements on very short notice and had all the requested rooms painted by Christmas Eve, AMAZING. He and his staff are extremely friendly, professional, and their quality of work went way beyond my expectations. I would definitely recommend Richard to anyone with painting needs and I will be calling him again when I’m ready to finish the rest of the rooms our home. Again, FANTASTIC!!!

VERY happy with the quality of work, the care taken with moving furniture & breakables & putting them back when walls were dry. They even put back all the wall hangings. I would recommend them for any type of painting, very professional.

I found Richard Stewart while surfing the internet for how to paint a stucco house. I watched a youtube video of Richard Stewart and was impressed with his knowledge and pleasant demeanor. I scheduled an appointment for a free estimate and liked the price he quoted. His painters did a marvelous job on our tri-​plex unit. We were very pleased with how professional, friendly and efficient his team of workers were. I would recommend Richard Stewart Painting to anyone who is looking for a good painting company with a fair price.

He’s great, we’ve used him twice and been happy both times. Colors look good and they do a nice job with trim. I think they use Dunn-​Edwards paints primarily and we’ve been happy with all of the color choices. They also worked with us to find the ‘just right’ colors we wanted. We never felt any pressure to hurry with our choices. That said, once we did choose the jobs went quickly and smoothly.

Richard Stewart Painting painted my house and did a beautiful job! We were very very pleased with the job and the workers and with Richard himself.
Richard came out and toured our property personally, giving us a very fair quote. In fact, his quote was much cheaper than two other quotes we received and a little bit higher than a third.
The guys who painted the house were great… very nice, friendly, professional and clean. They cleaned up each day and asked questions when they had them. Our house had probably not been painted for 30 years so these guys had their work cut out for them. Job well done.
The only complaint I have is Richard’s «foreman» named Rene was not very responsive so we called Richard directly and he took care of all our concerns as did Miguel our site supervisor.
All in all we were VERY satisfied with Richard. He did a lovely job with our paint.
