Miami Fast Shuttle

Stay away from this company!!! We paid for a private car from Ft Lauderdale Airport to our Miami hotel… they were SUPPOSED to have a car waiting for us. What they told us was the car was in the parking lot at the airport and would be at the pick up spot in a «few minutes.» We waited over an hour!!! What actually happened is that they had NO cars in Ft Lauderdale and sent a car from Miami only after we called twice. As this was paid in advance, we had no choice but to wait. It was actually an hour and a half from the time we had our luggage until a van finally showed up at the pick up spot. They did not provide the service we paid for, lied about the car being at the airport, and necessitated five calls from us to get any answers (bad answers at that!). If you use this service you will be sorry. By the way, the complaint just ahead of ours on Unilocal was met with a comment by the company stating that they had «15 years of service,» suggesting that the complaint was invalid. Donkey dust!!! This is a poorly operated transportation service, without question. Stay away!!!

I would rate less than one star if I can.
I booked a private shuttle for four people from Fort Lauderdale Airport (FLL) to Port of Miami and a shared shuttle service back to FLL.
We were told to call them when the flight landed. When we called, they instructed us to wait at a certain area. Then we waited there for ½ hr. No show. We called again, then we were blamed for not picking up calls (and my phone never rang!). Then they said they’d send the shuttle again. We waited for another ½ hr. Called again, they said we waited at the wrong place, and then asked us to go to another terminal. and they complained again about us not picking up the call — Not True!
When we were at the other location they told us to go to, we waited for another 15 minutes and finally a shuttle arrived. However, another group of people boarded the shuttle as well, so it’s not a private service we paid for. When I chatted with the other group on the shuttle, we both realized that we were experiencing the exact same thing. «not picking up your call» complaints, sending us to different locations and then blaming us for waiting at the wrong location afterwards, etc. It seems like it’s just a script of excuses for their delays.
The trip heading back is a tiny little smoother when we waited 30 minutes for it… The shuttle was dirty though. There was gum stuck on the safety belt ruining my jacket.
When I’m back home, I tried to call for a refund of price difference (shared vs private), and the guy asked me what I paid for. and said that price was a good deal even for shared service — NOT TRUE, according to the website. but the guy refused to go to the website nor to bring up my transaction to discuss, and just said he did not have time for this, and then hung up on me!!!
DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE!
(and note for tourists from Canada /​outside of US — the long distance calls needed to get these guys to send you the shuttle you pay for, is making it more expensive than taking cabs.)
