I had a completely different experience at Daco Romano than the other reviewer here. Perhaps time has made Daco Romano better. When I first went there, about a year ago, and asked for one of the sandwiches that were supposed to be offered, I was told they were out. So… I left. A recent trip over was far more rewarding. I ordered a nicely heavy iced nescafe and had a long discussion with the Romanian owners about the differences between Turkish and Greek coffee. I also ordered a small spanakopita-like pastry with spicy tomato sauce that hit the spot. True, the inside has far too much space with some horrible magazines lying about and is not very welcoming. However, on nice days Daco Romano has the only outside tables on Skillman, and has a perfect spot for a cup of strong coffee.
