All Star Check Cashing

I came in to get a few scratchers and out of 5, one was a winner for a ticket worth $ 1.
When I went back in to redeem it for the dollar value, the owner told me per lotto rules, they do not do that. I’ve been playing lotto since I was 18 and no one has told me they cannot give me the cash value back except for this dude. I told him he was the only one with this policy, then he stated other stores were doing me a favor. I’ve never seen so much pushback for $ 1. I told him just give me a ticket then he told me not to give him sass. I then told him to just give me the ticket and that I would no longer patronize this store. He told me he did not need my business. Wow. How do people like this stay in business or is it because he has a lack of skills is the reason why he has to run a liquer store?

Kitty corner from the other old school liquor store (L&K RIP), it sits in front of a Vietnamese sandwich shop. So naturally Im going in to look for weird beverages. Nothing too special, though you get some great people watching. Those looking for quick hits of malt liquor and nicotine make for the most interesting.
