Worst place to eat food.
Spoiled rotten pastries. And when asked they reply «We sold 10 from morning and no one complained» They person selling is arrogant and doesn’t accept. The pastry smells bad and he is not ready to smell it and accept.

Visited this place after couple of years to get cake for friends birthday. I have to say the black forest cake was awesome. I would recommend this place to anybody for cakes/​pastries.

First off, one star for the nice cake decoration & writing, and one star for the guy who assisted me on the day of the pick up.
That said, everything else was a zero. I went after work on a Tuesday evening to order an egg-​less cake for a coworker’s anniversary celebration and a few single slice cakes for pick-​up on Wednesday morning. Since it was short notice, I understand I could only ask for ready made stuff but I was assured by TWO guys at the register that the writing would be ready on the cake and single pastries ready for me to pick up the next day by 10am because I will be there on my break between 10am-​noon. I reiterated that I only had 15 minutes to get everything and back to work and both of them said no problem, it will be ready. They took down my name and number along with the writing I had asked them to put on the cake.
So I come to pick up my order the next morning around 10:15am and NOTHING was ready. I waited almost 10 minutes for the guy to put the writing on my cake and another 3 – 5 minutes to pack the single cakes and charge me (no discount offered either for the inconvenience, although he did apologize). Suffice it to say, I was 10 minutes late back to work and we were already short-​handed as it is.
To top it off, the cake was dry and lacking in pineapples, which meant the quality has gone way down since the last time we bought the pineapple cake a couple of years ago. I will make my own egg-​less cake in the future which tastes way better & much cheaper. This place need to pick up the quality and customer service or it will not survive — even if it’s the only egg-​less bakery around Sunnyvale.

I like their snacks, paneer puffs and rolls and also their panini. Cakes are not that great, only good thing is they serve eggless cakes.
Service is really slow though. Has always been in all the kar six years I have been their customer. I always call for a Togo order before I go, but even 20 minutes later they are just getting to it.
The cookies are fresh and good and very much like what you get in India!

I go to hot breads for snacks and pastries. I love the Mumbai veggie sandwich thr and pineapple pastry. Again, pineapple pastries are just too good

I don’t know what’s going on but 1 year back they had better quality. :(:(

It looks like a dungeon and food was below below average. (paav baaji and chaat).
We were misled by the advertisements in Desi Radio.
Very disappointed.
Will not recommend.

I went here with extremely low expectations after reading all the reviews on Unilocal.But to my surprise the mango pastry and the veggie puff I had tasted good.
My one complaint is that the veggie puff was a bit old, hard and needed some serious reheating. The other point which bothered me was the sheer number of pastries — there didnt seem to be a lot of crowd, but there were too many pastries of each type which made me wonder about the freshness.

They serve stale food. We visited today and bought chicken garlic puff egg puff and black forest cake. All of them were dry and stale. Chicken inside the puff were like tiny stones. I complained to the server and they served another stale cold puff. Please save your stomachs from this awful food. I’m a regular at rangoli, which has never failed me.

Was here to grab a quick snack and pastries. Both were horrible. Cake was stale and hard. Pav bhaji was just spiced up grated potatoes with peas. I have never eaten such horrible food in bay area. Not sure how they manage to get do business.

This place has a great variety of indian style biscuits and pastries. I had the chocolate biscuits and they were yummy!!! The service is awesome as well, especially Mr. Sreenu who was very helpful and a delight to interact with :) also if you are looking for some eggless dessert options, this is the place for you!

This place is awesome for cakes and pastries, I like there veg sandwich as well.
those who want to enjoy snacks and dessert I must say this is the place to go for.

There are quite a few eggless options. They also have puffs and stuffed buns. I would definitely come here if you want eggless options. They also do made to order cakes for events.

My husband and I came by after dinner to grab a sweet treat. He had a tiramisu and I had a bavarian pastry thing (forgot the exact name). It was unremarkable and the table was sticky and it was SUPER dead in there.
We won’t be doing that again.

Tried the Keema puff and the chicken garlic puff. They were both tasty, but it was mostly puff pastry and there was not enough filling. Also found out that this place specializes in eggless baked goods. Doesn’t matter to me, but thought I would mention it in case someone is specifically looking for that kind of thing.

Too good, especially pastries. Was yummy yummy.

Had pastries from many bakeries, but this is the best.

The cakes are very fresh and yummy. They are very close to the pastries I miss from India. I tried Pineapple, Blackforest, Fruit cake and they were all really good.
My boyfriend is a fan of their chat like dabeli and sev puri. I think they do a good job with the chat too.
The puffs were not as favourful as I expected them to be.

As I was leaving from my lunch spot next door. I though to my self I would really like some thing sweet Like a cookie, !! Yummmy selection of cookies that are made with no egg.
The nice young lady help me was very patient and sweet. She informed me there is a minum of ½ to be bought on the cookies. Which came out to $ 4.08 … I got a nice bag of Almond cookies that where very very tasty. And hit my sweet craving.
I will certainly be back to try the other items they have on display.
