Great food, great atmosphere, and exceptional people! Can’t say enough good things about this place and we are lucky to have them in Sunnyvale! Can’t choose a favorite dish– they are all fantastic. From Pizza to Lobster Ravioli you can’t go wrong.

Always great service family atmosphere, best Italian food in Mesquite, now offering«lunch specials» on most of the menu.

Delicious pizza and lobster ravioli in an area that doesn’t have many quality options. Will definitely be back.

I know a 5 star rating might indicate an overenthusiastic patron, but that isn’t the case here. I moved to DFW ten years ago and had not experienced casual dining Italian that was this satisfying. Yes, there are fine upscale Italian options, but for their price range and quality, there is nothing better on this side of town. It was fantastic. The portions are generous, but not ridiculous in size. Nothing tasted frozen, canned, etc. It was just absolutely delicious.

Staff is friendly and the rolls are good. But the pasta sauce taste like it comes from a can :/I ordered the baked ziti and I was just given ziti pasta smothered in sauce and melted cheese. I was not satisfied. Just your typical«Italian» restaurant.

For lunch, I had garlic knots, free, house salad with house dressing, with lunch, and lunch chicken fettuccine Alfredo. All really good! This is my new go-to Italian place.

Good food. Good prices. They are very friendly and make dining great. The service is a tad slow, but understandable because the food comes out piping hot and so delicious. It is worth the wait. You can enjoy the garlic knots while you wait. Its also byob which is nice.

The food at Cosa Nostra is always of great quality and the main staff are awesome. I’m quite picky with where I eat Italian food, and I have yet to be dissapointed here. The only issue I have is a personal one, and that is that I can’t seem to find the time to try more of the dishes offered; the pizza is too damn good. Everything I have seen come out of the kitchen is always freshly cooked and looks so damn tasty. If I lived closer to this place I would be in trouble.

Think of this as a small town, family-owned, Italian restaurant. The food was good. It was served hot. Think ‘comfort food’. There is a good variety on the menu but they’re not likely to win any Michelin stars. And that’s okay. For us, it was a Friday night when neither my wife nor I wanted to cook and we had plenty of time. That«plenty of time» was important. Not sure what the issue was, but our salads came out with our main course, which was unusual. Additionally, we had a coupon that our server forgot to take off our bill, reassured us she had taken it off our bill, and only realized that she hadn’t taken it off or a bill when we asked her to recalculate the total. She apologized, but having to ask three times kind of put a damper on the meal experience. We will be back, and I hope to be able to update this with a more favorable experience.

Cosa Nostra has classic-style Italian food; lasagna, those rolls before the meal that all Italian restaurants in the suburbs seem to serve, pizza, etc. The cheese is real, the sauce tastes like you want it to. It’s not light, and it’s not innovative, but if you want some good old Italian food like you were raised to love, than Cosa Nostra won’t disappoint.

We went there for lunch and had the lasagna. Best lasagna ever. It was delicious. Usually when I order lasagna, I end up over salting because it just seems as though some flavor is missing. Not this lasagna. In fact, I didn’t salt it at all. They found whatever missing ingredient I’ve been after. The bread was equally good and the salad was fresh and tasty too. I ordered the house salad dressing and it tasted homemade. I hate to say it but we had 2 plates of bread — it was just that good. I’ll be going back, definitely.

Had dinner tonight and it was great. The manager greeted us warmly and our server was great. I had the chicken parmigiana and my companion had the chicken paneceria(or something like that) and both were delicious. The marinara sauce on the chicken parmigiana was probably my favorite anywhere. The house salad was cold and crisp. For dessert, I had the tiramisu and omg it was fabulous. Definitely will go back. I’m dying to try the penne vodka!

The pizza crust was over mixes the last three time we were there the pepperoni taste like nothing at all and for some reason they put this nasty rancid tasting sausage on it when we only asked for pepperoni. The manger is very rude and kept telling me that i told him we asked for sausage after five minutes he called the cook over to have him take it off. I down at the cooks arms a they are covered in open sores i ran out of the place and got sick. I will never go back to Cosa Nostra again.

Well the first time we went there it was good, the second time really bad, The place is like a giant popcorn machine, the people working there are totally overwhelmed, My husband got the tuna salad, there was lettuce &1 piece of tomato on it & canned tuna dumped out of the can not mixed with anything & it tasted like a can, everything has gone down hill, & then we were standing up front to pay our bill when the cook came out & had open sores all over his arms, ewwwwwwwwwww. & no Faux S. I am not a relative or friend. The guy that works with my husband ordered lasagna to go & got fettuccine noodles with marinara sauce, yum !!!

First off, the two reviews that gave 5 stars must have come from friends or employees of the business. I had the fettuccine alfredo with chicken. The sauce was absolutely flavorless much like the rubbery unseasoned pieces of chicken. The chef salad was good after we had to return ours to the kitchen for having the wrong dressing. Both were made incorrectly. The baked ziti was just ziti noodles made just like grocery store spaghetti. The meatballs were just badly made and the flavor was terrible. I tried to give this place some slack because they are newly opened, but the lack of good food, no real atmosphere and the outrageous pricing are all inexcusable. Won’t be back and won’t recommend to anyone. I hate writing this review because I had high hopes for the place.
