Having been going to Debbie Lyn’s Costumes for the past 6 years. She’s moved a couple of times, but still has the same great costumes. She’s gets overstock many times from local plays, so hight quality stuff. My favorite two costumes: 1) I was a pink flamingo 2) I was a big baby. Rented both costumes. Way cool.

To be fair, I didn’t actually go to Debbie Lyn’s this time. I emailed for an appointment late on Friday night to see them the next day for a last minute costume I needed by Sunday. Received an immediate answer they wouldn’t likely have what I needed in time, but gave a recommendation who to see instead in the area that could probably help. Bit disappointing, yes. But that’s darn honest and they’re very much putting me first by answering quickly and sending me elsewhere given the situation. Huge customer service points. Thank you, Debbie Lyn!

First off, Debbie Lyn’s is NOT located at the address listed here. The correct and current address is: 475 N. Wolfe Road Sunnyvale, CA94087 I’ve asked Unilocal to correct this so that no one will miss out on what has always been the best costume shop in the bay area. I’ve been going to Debbie Lyn’s for almost a decade. As a Halloween lover, I knew I was in costume paradise when I first walked in the door. I’ve rented and bought all my best costumes there, and I’ve won many a costume contest too! The awesome costumes I’ve gotten at Debbie’s include: an entire Cleopatra outfit including an ornate headdress, a kimono and wig for a geisha costume, a vampire cape and authentic teeth with fangs, a Queen Amidala costume from«Star Wars Episode I» including a wig that was an exact replica of the one worn in the movie, Frankenstein boots and stick on bolts for the neck, the best«Bride of Frankenstein» wig I’ve ever seen, a Viking hat with horns, a Grecian goddess dress, etc. etc. It seems like each year I realize the day before Halloween that I’m missing an integral accessory or finishing touch for my costume. Never fear, Debbie’s to the rescue. Just yesterday I visited the store with no idea what I was going to dress up as this year. Debbie herself helped me find an awesome costume in a matter of minutes. This place is a gem. If you need a costume it’s the place to go, hands down.
