This is a fun and intimate Indian restauarant. They have cool ipad drink menus and great food. We had the Bombay Biryani, Butter Chicken, and Molten Lava Chocolate. All were made with great taste. The portions are fine for an individual. The prices are a bit high for the food.

I still don’t understand why I never paid any attention to this place? I always walk by and keep my head forward to it hour even taking a glimpse of this lounge. Is it because I walk by when the place isn’t lit up with dim lights, people sitting and chatting all over, sounds of music, etc. Well I finally took the step and came here last night with my uncle. I was amazed. As I walked inside, I instantly smelled the scent of their fine Indian food. There were people enjoying and having a great time eating, drinking, and talking. It gave me that lounge feel which was awesome. Especially since this location is in downtown Sunnyvale! I was stunned. The décor and structure of this lounge is warm, cozy, yet it gives off a nightlife vibe to it. Most of the upscale lounges I’ve been to are all mostly Chinese or Taiwanese influence with an American touch. This is unique because it’s an Indian fusion lounge! Let’s start with their food. Their Jamaican jerk calamari is amazing! So tasty with it’s jerk flavor and a crunchy type breading crust. It’s texture all around for this dish. The cilantro tastes amazing with the chili garlic sauce. Second, their«Mirza Hasnu» which are four tender prices of white chicken meat marinated with habanero yogurt with cashew flavors and spices. This is an instant hit! Loved every bite and the flavors just popped out! I finally got to try premium Indian beer; the Taj Mahal beer which is a dark lager type beer with caramel flavors. This was very good and I recommend it when coming here too! I want to thank Devanche(forgot the spelling) for being the best host and bartender for us! He’s an adventurous cat who knows his drinks and has a friendly vibe to him. His style fits IC Lounge and he does an amazing job keeping his customers satisfied! Yeee! I’m totally coming back!

Had a girls night out here. Ordered the fried calamari and I have to say it was amazing! Had a great sour cream and garlic dipping sauce to go with. Bartender/waiter was professional and super upbeat. He made us a house specialty drink called«Rain» have to order… Best drink ever :) over all great place for drinks and food. Would go there again.

Drink are okay, service is good, price is okay, but the food sucks! It’s not fresh it’s ingredients are from a range of mediocre to bad quality. I’ve tried better places. Hopefully the management will check it closely, upgrading the quality of oils and ingredients used to make the food; change the menu by adding healthier better options.

Very good tasteful food and good service. We were extremely hungry. Ordered 2 side dishes, murgh hariyali and pind da murgh, roti basket and Bombay biriyani(dum biriyani). Both the sides were good. Hariyali was exemptional. Roti basket had mushroom kulcha which was really tasty. Over all a good experience. Will come here again next time I’m in Sunnyvale! I would definitely recommend this place!

Cool, chic, and modern Indian place for cocktails. Lounge ambiance is nice. Indian inspired cocktails and bar bites are smart and minimal. Live music on the weekends makes for an entertaining time. Although strictly for cuisine, there are better options in the area.

The layout, location and interior design is superb. I love the customer service, although I can tell some the workers are new based on their hesitancy to approach customers with complete confidence.(Not a complaint, just an observation) I tried the vegetarian biryani for the first time today and it was splendid! The waitress presented the biryani on a side table where she slit the top layer of naan for us in and then mixed the rice. It was a beautifully presented dish and loved how there was several components of one dish: the yogurt, the layer of naan, and the rice itself. I also ordered Bombay Mule and thought the name was cute and clever.(The drink replaces vodka with Bombay Sapphire gin.) I was hoping it would come in a copper container, but I still liked my drink irregardless! It was the perfect mix since it was strong, without tasting overwhelmingly alcoholic. I’d definitely come back. Especially for their happy hours from 5 – 7 on weekdays.

Its modernised Indian Kitchen. The Menu is small for food. Its mostly Appetizers and Drinks. Not really a big place for sports. but they have 2 Televisions with music. Its good place to hangout, Drink and go Modernised Indian Food. Remember the Menu is too Small. Dont expect too much on food, but its really yummy.

This may be a bit confusing but IC Lounge and Rasman are all the same establishment. They share the same menu but there’s at the lounge you can’t order a full meal. It’s mainly appetizers and drinks. So I’ve come here quite a few times now since it open. It’s within walking distance from home so I frequent this place quite often. My personal rating started at 5 starts and has gone down due to poor customer service. The décor and the vibe is definitely a nice change to Murphy street. However, as a new restaurant they are still trying to figure out a lot of glitches and sadly haven’t been smooth at those transitions. A couple of times while sitting outside they forgot about us and all the tables outside. One day we’re able to sit and order dinner at the bar, the next day they changed their mind. Another time my dishware was dirty and my napkin unwashed. The manager has been great and really wish the rest of his team was as attentive as he is. Pros– Great food selections, I have no complaints there. Chicken butter, the naan, the avocado appetizer. all amazing. Also, what’s up with the BIG mean face the owner sports around. Makes it very unwelcoming and rather uncomfortable. Sir, no need to have that face. smile for once and walk around and ask for customer feed back or welcome them to your«pride and joy.»

Having eaten thrice here its review time! Our most recent menu– Paneer asparagus w mushroom — 2.5÷5 — This is the ONLY Panner dish on the menu. — This is a no gravy dish. — The paneer and mushroom didnt go together. Maha ki daal– 3⁄5 — No daal makhani on the menu. Butter Chicken– 4⁄5 — Good but NOT the best in Sunnyvale. Balti Chicken– 2⁄5 — Big hard chunks of chicken. — Everything except the chicken was good. Garlic naan– 3.5÷5 Tandoori roti– 4⁄5 I dont think I would go back again. I was hoping it would be the indian fine dining restaurant Sunnyvale needed but thats not the case. With the price I could probably eat out twice at other better places.

Best butter chicken I’ve ever had! The service was excellent. I brought my little pup with me and had to go to the bathroom. One of the waiters was kind enough and wait outside with her while I ran in.

I would give this place no stars! The people who run this place are non professional. They let men push down women at their club and then they do nothing about it after you complain! And they are very rude!!! They also don’t give you your change back. Instead they keep it! If you don’t have exact change with coins, good luck getting your money back in change ever! Which is very illegal!!! Don’t give this place your business ever!

We decided to try this place out before heading to Pure. It looks so chic and beautiful from the outside. The cocktails are good, and the bartender is knowledgable, but he, and most of the staff, are not friendly or talkative, even though we were the only ones at the bar. On Saturdays, there’s a live band, and although they’re good, they don’t attract a lot of people. You can tell they clear the floor for dancing after dinner, but people would rather go dance to conventional Saturday night music from a DJ. Sad but true. Also, this might sound mean, but ventilation is really important if you’re going to make powerful food with spices. They could benefit from an A/C or windows. We came out of there smelling like fried food and spices. If you’re trying to be all classy and smell like strawberries, I wouldn’t suggest going here for a date. I was pretty annoyed and the minute it hit me, I wanted to leave ASAP. It just needs a friendlier, more upbeat vibe and some air, and it’ll start stealing some business.

Food’s decent, good cocktails and happy hour, appetizers are good for the most part. We had one chicken tikka wrap that was had a fair amount of chicken that was gristle. The atmosphere is good, but could be better if it wasn’t for the owner/manager who stands just off of the bar with his arms crossed and his brow furrowed as he watches his staff and the customers ALL night. Seriously he can frown for hours. Every time you look up you see him frowning and standing there glaring. I keep thinking he’s going to come out and say«No soup for you!». Seriously, chill, you’re making everyone uncomfortable. We walked by the place the other night and saw him standing there. Didn’t go in, went to Lily Macs instead.

This place is really packed tonight! I invited 10 people here for my bday and tables are hard to come by. The bartender is swamped and the food is just okay.

The butter chicken was delicious. Not too heavy, and the beer selection was good. They also serve a mean Moscow Mule. Ambiance is nice, much calmer than Dish Dash across the street. Easy to have a conversation but the music is still quite pleasant. Recommended!

Does this place want to be a bar or a restaurant? If you go on Friday night it makes to look like a club! We were seated in the bar area and I think we should have been in the dining room. Loud music and lots of light show. I dont mind that if Im drinking but with a large group of people you cant hear anyone over a meal. Food was tasty enough though I think the prices are slightly high. People kept leaving the door open and smoking right in front which seemed to bother some of the folks in my group a lot. Both paneer dishes, lamb korma, keema and masala dosas, chicken tikka masala, naan and rice are all solid, but it maybe better to get the food to go?
