The only thing keeping this place from 5 stars would be if it moved back to El Camino and Bernardo. Otherwise, I always feel welcomed there, the staff are great! The drinks are strong and I’ve never seen anyone act an asshole there. Please keep it up!

This review is as a bar /restaurant: Bar was very cool(though empty) when we went on a Sunday morning to watch football. Pros: Drink specials — bottomless mimosas $ 15 and other drink specials which I can’t remember Friendly owner who let us put whatever we wanted on all the TVs Cons: Food took forever to come out and wasn’t really very good. I’ll go back to hang out, but there are much better options for brunch.

Random Thursday night in Sunnyvale… discovered this place on(where else) Unilocal.Seems like an interesting place to come back to on a weekend, though not sure what the theme is. The front gives off a club vibe, which I don’t mind since there is seating involved… but then as you walk further, there is a shuffleboard and pool table. Hmm. Either way, the bartender was chill, the prices of the drinks on a late Thursday was acceptable and fair– since we only ordered beer.

What an amazing find! My husband and I were in the mood for burgers and football so we googled what was close and found this place. Our bartender was really nice and our burgers were awesome. Would drop in again anytime in the area.

This is a cool little local spot with a cool vibe and plenty of good food and drink. Great for small groups to hang out after work or as an alternative to a big crowded club like place. Bartenders are friendly and attentive, food and drinks are pretty good and usually have a few decent beers on tap. One coin op pool table and a dart board. Definitely worth checking out for a casual night out. I like to go every so often.

Great spot to be! Great food, great prices, great drinks, everything I want in a place to hang out and have a good time. Pool table, darts, and TVs for sports or whatever you want to watch. It’s a very welcoming atmosphere.

Not a totally fair review because we bailed before having anything. When the car stopped it wasn’t what I expected from w 4 star joint. Just felt weird so we left.

This place is great. The owner, Michelle, is awesome, always takes great care of us. They have a good guy cooking the food now, I’ve done dinner here and it’s good! Drinks are good, bartenders are nice, good place to take a group. We’ve had a few group get togethers here and they’re great at making sure everyone’s taken care of. Tons for people to do, pool, darts, music, TV’s, it’s a good time.

I was shocked when I went in here. My guy and I were at the tattoo shop next door and thought let’s grab a drink. It has a Dj some nights and a juke box. A cute and decent layout. Pretty good food for a bar and super friendly bar tenders. We came back the next night. If only we lived closer. But we will be back when he gets his tattoo.

I came here and ordered a dragons breath(?) burger and a beer. The burger was $ 10, beer was $ 5. I must of waited a good 30 minutes if not more for this burger to be made, which I was not too happy with. It tasted like a proper burger, except the lower bun was soaked in grease and was such a texture I didn’t care for. The patty was pretty big though, and the fries that came with it were not too bad either. I was still hungry afterwards :/ They have a pool table and darts. It’s got a pretty chill atmosphere.

This place was just OK. I would definitely be back with a bigger group as it was dead for happy hour the day we went. The al pastor tacos were pretty good and so were their bacon cheese fries, since they loaded it w tons of bacon. However, their jalapeño poppers seemed like they were from Costco. They didn’t even heat them enough for the cheese to melt in the middle. Sadness. I had their white sangria which was pretty tasty. Not giving up my hopes on this place. Will try it out again.

Probably one of the best spots in downtown Sunnyvale, and this isn’t an exaggeration. Normally, I avoid most of the spots here, because something may be missing(be it the quality of the food, the service, or the atmosphere), but this place hits the mark. I checked out this location yesterday during the lunchtime rush. The normal lunchtime spots in downtown Sunnyvale were packed by noon, as usual. On a hunch, I decided to check the Office out. I noticed a few months ago that it had reopened, and was advertising a menu. For me, the staple bar foods are wings and burgers, and I was craving a burger. I was not disappointed with what I ordered. The burger was cooked just right, and the bacon was crisp on the outside, tender on the inside. Just the way I like it. The fries were an added plus. Most places I go to, I avoid the fries. Either they are soggy, or too crisp, or they are too thin, or more like chips when you order fish n chips. These were just right. They even come with ‘pink sauce’(in Idaho, this is called fry sauce), which complements a well cooked fry very well. Today, I ordered the other staple, the chicken wing. The owner, Michelle, handed me some sample wings to try which were sweet with a bit of spice. I ordered buffalo wings with bleu cheese. She opted to combine the buffalo sauce with the bleu cheese, which initially took me by surprise. However, they were seasoned just right. I am not sure why more people don’t know about this place. It is a nice off the grid alternative, with good food and service. I highly recommend it.

This is a great dive bar. I’m currently giving 5 stars for spending 3 – 4 hours in the day time. I love dive bars where you can just sit, listen to music, people watch, have a reasonably priced drink, chit chat with friends, and this place is it. I think if you bring a group of good friends, this place would be really fun. The owner, Michelle, is extremely friendly and brings our drinks quickly, and even suggested new drinks to try. The lunch came out quickly, and food was good for a dive bar. The atmosphere is relaxing, there is Karaōke and jukebox and pool table. The space is well laid out. I do hope to go back since I hear of a $ 15 all you can mimosa deal in the daytime. :-)

I like this place! Good food: check! Some craft beer: check! cocktails: check! great décor: check! great atmosphere: check! The place has a great amount of seating in fun little booths. The owner is very social and loves hosting events, so if you’re planning a meet up, I would definitely recommend this place!

Liked this place back when it was Island Café, and still like it now. A small, relatively sparse bar with an aesthetically pleasing layout. The owner, Michelle, is very friendly and accommodating. Drink prices are average by bar standards. It has a pool table, which is nice since so few bars do nowadays.

Its a weird bar. Super loud music with upscale decorations. The DJ sucks at mixing but at least his music selection is OK. Theres also a fog machine for some inexplicable reason. Pros: drinks are reasonably prices. They forgot our order of quasedillas but gave us half off because of it. Cons: too loud for the type of bar it is. Vibe is weird. Chicken wings are small and suck. Alternate opinion: if you have ten dollars and an ounce of self respect stay away.

Interesting new bar in the older outskirts of Sunnyvale downtown. Renovated from an old bar they serve both American and Japanese fare for food. Got the loaded fries, chicken wings and lamb tacos. It seems that the chefs true passions may however be the Japanese fare and what we had was to appease the normal«American bar fare» palates. Will return to try the other items now knowing where the chefs passion is.

New owners, new décor, new food! They’ve only been open for a bit and still working out kinks, but so much to love! Some coworkers and I stopped by for Monday Night Football and we had the place to ourselves! That’s not a bad thing. Comfy benches and cozy seating was great. The cook didn’t arrive until much later, so the owner, Michelle, greeted us and brought out: –French fries with garlic and a bit too much pepper. Second order, we asked to hold pepper. –Homemade pot stickers were spot on. –Korean short ribs!!! Yes!!! We loved it so much, we had two orders. SO good! –I ordered a hamburger(hold the bun with cheese) and she brought out a very tasty and moist hamburger. The cheese in pic was melted around it. While different, super tasty. We asked if they dessert. She brought out some fresh fried egg roll wrappers sprinkled with sugar. Perfect! She also brought out the same dish, but with some seasoning sprinkled. Would be perfect for appetizer. The seating is very cozy and they have a lot of personal touches. She said she also has homemade egg rolls. Next time! They serve bfast starting at 10am. I hope folks in area give this place a try.
