I love P.F. Chang’s! On two separate occasions the staff has gone above and beyond our expectations. The first experience was with order pickup via vehicle. I phoned the restaurant upon my arrival and within minutes they had someone in the parking lot looking for me. I still feel so bad that I had parked on the wrong side and the gentleman could not find me to give me my food. He went back inside the restaurant phoned me asking me my whereabouts. I explained that I had seen the employee but wasn’t close enough to flag him down. He came back out, still with a smile on his face, and delivered my food. He saw that I had two small children sitting in the backseat and had offered to go back inside for cookies for them. I felt so bad that he wanted to make that trip after not being able to find me the first time. I, of course, tipped him and explained my gratitude for his service and went on my way. The second experience was recent, and was during a sit in meal. Our waiter, Stephanie, was extremely pleasant and helpful. We ordered food for four as well as dessert. Upon our dinner arriving to the table, my husband noticed that two of the orders weren’t prepared correctly. We weren’t upset or too inconvenienced by this. We understand that mistakes happen all the time, especially on a weekend night when everyone is squeezing in for dinner. She apologized for the mistake and had the food returned to be remade properly. After we received our meals, we went on with our night. Upon receiving the receipt, my husband noticed that she had discounted us for our order due to the earlier mishap. We were not expecting that at all! I don’t think something like that has ever happened to us before and so it was a shock, but it was amazing nonetheless. It was one of those things where they don’t need to do that, and we didn’t ask for it, but they did it anyways. We totally appreciate her for that. Aside from those two experiences, P.F. Chang’s is overall great. The food is delicious. The ambience is perfect. The staff is all so friendly. Oh, and there is valet parking available, which we used at our last visit. What a savior! The parking lot was packed and we had to meet our reservation within 5 minutes of our arrival. Had we not used the valet service we would have definitely missed our reservation.

Food Substandard. Service great though. We ordered prawns, green beans, asparagus. Both green beans and asparagus were really bad. Friend rice was dry:(. Prawns were decent, bout nothing great.

Worst Changs Spicy chicken ever had. It was more like«desert chicken». with generous amt. of sugar in it. Could have gone to some mall instead, wasted $ 15 on this.

Place is decent… Bartenders are super chill and that’s about it. Drinks are ehh, food is very bland. Panda Express has better tasting food in my opinion. Not being harsh but if I m paying 80 bucks for 2 people… It bette taste decent.

This review is especially for Chris, the Food and Beverage manager at the Sunnyvale location. We eat at the location often, entertain guests there often, and get take-out food for parties at home from there. Chris is always our guide on choices and quantities when it comes to parties and we «leave it all to Chris“to get the BEST results, ALWAYS! Chris, we are the family that«lives near Oakridge» but comes all the way down to Sunyvale for take outs and dining — for the last few years :-) Thank you for your help — even yesterday!

I think this is by far the best PF Chang’s branch in terms of food and customer service. We frequent here a lot mostly because we normally do our after meetings lunches in this restaurant. Everyone in my team who visited previous PF Chang’s said the same thing, for some reason food here is way better. Our servers are always the helpful ones(Francisco is one of them). My fave so far is the ribs, BBQ not the dry-rub. You can share one order just because it’s really a lot! Lunch specials available until 4pm Valet parking on-site for people like me who hates trying to find parking :)

The only thing this place has going for it is the bar. Be wise in choosing as a lot of the sauces are overkill super sweet or salty. Choose wisely on something they can barely mess up or get your drink on and head to Panda after for a more palatable experience!

Splendid ambience. Excellent service. Awesome food. Not run of the mill chinese food. Must order: Chicken lettuce wraps — crunchy and savory with chestnuts n chicken. Dynamite Shrimp: Fire and spice combo. Great. Kung pao chicken: Piquant. Prawn and Crab fried rice: decent. California roll: Small sized but crab salad yum. Desserts: Go for the Great wall of Chocolate — Sheer indulgence with 6 layers of chocolate cake and raspberry sauce. Its a treat and highly recommended!

This place had good food, a little spicy but I suppose I should’ve asked before hand. Great customer service as well.

It’s been several months since we had visited PF Chengs in Walnut Creek, Ca. and we were so pleasantly delighted at the new menu offerings including the shrimp dumplings, gorgeous scallop sushi platter, the ahi salad, and the lo mein. We ordered five dishes, all fairly priced, and each was delicious and beautifully presented satisfying our craving for Japanese, Chinese, and dim sum. Service was excellent, too. Make a reservation as this is a popular restaurant and always packed. The décor is fun!

We came around 8:30pm, took about 5 mins to get seated. Hosts in the front weren’t very welcoming, looked like they were just done with being there. Tip: always greet and smile! We got seated and the server we got didn’t look happy either. He didn’t ask how we were or any kind of small talk, just asked us if we were ready go order… The food was very Americanized, not authentic Chinese, but still tastes decent. The server never came back to check on us or ask how the food was. I understand you probably had a long day and it’s close to closing time, but if you can’t give excellent customer service then why work at a place where you have to?! Note to management: retrain your staff! You’d probably get better reviews, make more money, and tips!

Wow. Very disappointed. Went there as part of a group lunch. On a very calorie controlled diet, but I wasn’t worried because I can usually find something using the nutritional information from the restaurant. Counter to current laws, I was unable to get that information either from the waitstaff or on their website where the waitstaff sent me. When I did order from the«light» lunch menu, what I got was fried with NO indication of that on the menu. Even more concerning was without that information, my diabetic husband was guessing blind. Will not be back.

We came here for happy hour and it was not crowded and were seated right away at the patio. There was only one other group out there which had already finished their food and we’re just talking. I think the waiter must have forgotten about us because after 25 minutes, no one even came out to the patio area. I had to go inside to flag down a server to come take our order. However they made it up by letting us order happy hour menu after the 7pm cutoff and waived our corkage fee(usually $ 15). We ordered the spiked ice tea lemonade, pork dumplings, edamame, chicken skewers, and ahi tartare. Everything was pretty normal, but nothing too spectacular except for the chicken skewers which was a bit on the dry side. Overall good food and a good price for happy hour.

One of the better chains in the US of A! The food and service are consistently good, regardless of the location. Our party of 3 ordered Chicken Lettuce Wraps, Walnut Shrimp, and Mongolian Beef. Accompanying this was 50/50, aka white AND brown rice. While not truly, authentic Asian/Chinese food, it’s all very good and tasty! Our server, Randy, was very good at keeping us happy, hydrated, and full!

Lunch is OK, overpriced in my opinion. Had the honey shrimp with white rice and hot & sour soup. Waitstaff was attentive and pretty good for a party of 8 but one of the plates didn’t make it until everyone else’s was already on the table for a few minutes, which was a bit awkward. I don’t like to eat until everyone has their plates in front of them… anyway, I thought that 7 or so shrimp with a small bowl of soup, a glass of iced tea and two scoops of white rice for $ 14 before tip was overpriced. I’d definitely go for happy hour… the bar looked awesome. I like the interior… good lighting, clean design and Chinese statues. Pretty hip, but the food is sorta blah and I wouldn’t go out of my way to get lunch here again. Parking’s a beast during lunch, so do yourself a favor and carpool if you’re going to lunch w/your coworkers.

Orange edamame is really good. Spicy with orange peels and zest. Veggie lettuce wraps. Would have liked if they don’t come with onions but it’s pre made. Service was good. Appreciate the service.

PF Chang’s is a place I wouldn’t choose to eat at, but it’s a place I am willing to go to at a friend’s request. So here’s my experience when I went to have dinner with my friend here: I ordered a Mai Tai($ 8.25) which was alright although I would prefer it to be a bit sweeter. For my entrée I ordered Chang’s Chicken($ 14.95) which was tasty and I love that brown rice is a choice for a side. However, I didn’t find the dish to be great value. After all it IS just chicken and rice… no veggies, no miso soup, nada. As for the service, it was average. Normally a waiter checks in on me ~5 minutes after I sit down(at least to ask for drink orders), whereas we weren’t checked on here for at least 10 minutes. Our server was kind but not particularly enthusiastic or interesting. PF Chang’s is not a bad place but it could really use some flair… especially on a Saturday night! Here’s to an okay time but I will go to a non-chain place the next time I crave Asian food.

Salty to super salty, greasy and to me the rice and the quality of the meat is sub par Chicken noodle soup taste nothing but salt. I honestly went there just because an ex colleague from San Diego organized an ‘expats’ lunch and since we were a very large group we needed space and food to please a variety of people. This would not be the type of place I will go on my own. Besides, we like our soups coming with spoons. It took a couple of times of asking to get them. Soup was cold by then.

To me this is jus a dressed up panda express. Its americanized chinese food with maybe slightly better ingredients but its all the same stir fried /breaded /wok stuff. Most dishes were bout 12 – 20. The food isnt bad but i dont like payin 15 bux for a dish that I know isnt as fancy as they try to make it out to be. If Panda Express was mcdonalds, this would be Red Robin. (If you still decide to go here…) Food: Hunan Style Hot Fish– dunno if this is really hunan style but sure… anyways the dish consists o fried breaded fish with a spicy sauce. It was actually pretty good. Not overfried or undercooked. The sauce was pretty good as well. Dynamite Shrimp: Breaded shrimp(oh what else is new… everythings friggin breaded n fried around here!). Just imagine orange shrimp wit a lil bit o spice. i dunno how else to describe it. Lettuce Wrap: If u wanted somethin more authentic, get this. Taste was solid. Salted Caramel Cake: Solid dessert. Cake was soft and i could tasted the salt on the caramel. Im not a dessert snob by any means tho but i thought it was fairly enjoyable. Overall im not really down wit the concept of a fancier more expensive panda express so i wouldnt come again but to give em credit, the food is actually not bad. This would prolly be a good place to bring non asians whove never had chinese as an introduction or sumthin i guess.
