I ordered a chicken and beef combo plate and lentil soup. I was given a free baklava dessert just cause! How nice of them! Service was good and fast! I came at 3PM. The place is nice and mellow. Staff members are direct to the point and good with suggestions!

Good food and prompt service. I really like their veggie wraps. The place is small so one should arrive early.

Came here w/a friend for lunch. **TIP: Arrive early bc the place gets PACKED& the line is out the door!** Lunch was great, the place is clean, the service is good, they serve huge portions & the price is right! It was just a little too spicy for me & my GERD didnt really appreciate it, but other than that, i would totally go back :)

Great food, friendly service and fresh salads. Falafel Salad, Greek Salad, and Chicken Biryani dish are my favorite orders here. I would suggest to call ahead for pickup if you don’t want to wait in line.

I called to place an order and the lady said«I’m very busy right now» and hung up. Seriously WTF! Though I love their Flafels I’m repelled to to order again.

Like spandex pants, your dollar will stretch to accommodate you reasonably here. I ordered the Chicken Shawarma Plate($ 8.96) and a side of Tabbouleh($ 4.60). My entrée came with chicken over rice, iceberg lettuce salad, hummus and two pieces of pita bread. The chicken was seasoned well and the amount was reasonable. I do wish the dish came with a little more hummus, though. The tabbouleh was tasty with its mixture of parsley, tomato, green onions and cracked wheat. The fact that this dish is also pretty healthy means you won’t have to worry about hitting a hot, sweaty Bikram Yoga class afterwards. No fancy presentation with the food, and no frills with the décor, but the reasonable portions at fair prices makes Robee’s a winner!

A colleague took me there for lunch time and the wait was not worth for. Looks like a very popular place as it was packed of both people eating at the clean looking restaurant and others in line for that hot falafel. Speaking of which, it was dry and tasteless. Huge wrap, yes, but I am less into the container than the content, and throwing some falafel to some sad lettuce and thin tomato with no sauce to agglutinate that is too harsh for my taste. I have to ask for sauce separately, they were OK but I would have preferred tahini sauce. Will try the meat wraps next time.

Clean, fast service, & fresh tasty food. This place definitely deserves 4 stars. Solid all around. Green sauce is BOMB!

This place is a once a week or every other week lunch for me. Usually stick with the Beef Shwarma Plate with extra green sauce(Tahini or Tzaki sauce not sure which it is) and a side of Hummus. In my humble opinion, they have the best Hummus ONTHEPLANET! No joke, its creamy, smooth, and very tasty! I sometimes mix it with the Fatoosh salad. Minus 1 star for it being a little bit expensive for a grab and go lunch place, but overall the service is great.

Go here once in a while when I forget to bring my lunch. It can get really busy during lunch time as it is close by to Netapp, Yahoo, Bloom Energy, and other silicon valley companies. I have gotten the falafel wrap, chicken wrap and the gyro wrap. I think the falafel is sort of dry and needs some sauce to pep it up. The chicken wrap is good but it does not fill me up for some reason. I should add fries to my order next time. The gyro wrap comes with fries and I believe it may be the bang for the buck lunch item there for me. I have not tried any of the daily specials or platters so I cannot comment on them. This spot or the iBagels is prolly the only places i would eat in that plaza as of now.

Accept credit cards — min $ 6 charge. Totally worth the visit — friendly clean place next to a Subway restaurant — very flavorful food — I came to the subway and changed my mind :-)

Came here for lunch since this place is close to my work, ordered the chicken shawerma and a side order of falafel. Shawerma was decent, too much tahini sauce for my liking. Falafels were really good. A bit on the pricey end, but pretty much in par with the surrounding places. Definetly not better then dish dash. Good if your in a hurry and don’t want to wait long.

A solid Mediterranean eatery, with fresh flavorful stuff. I’m from the middle east and their falafel and beef shawarma are pretty authentic and delicious. Employees are always nice, and will customize your order to taste. I go to this place quite often(work near by), and prefer it over the DishNDash.

I work in the locale and there aren’t too many food choices in walking distance of Yahoo, Lockheed, the Bluecube, Netapps etc. Falafels and shawarmas are just about all right. Because of its location, the patrons are mostly tech folks from nearby and it can get crowded… so come quarter to 12. If you run out of options, then there’s always my 10 km lunch time run at the Bay View trails.

Robee’s Falafel is a great lunch place. It’s conveniently located in a business district with Yahoo and other known corporations. The plaza it’s located in has ample parking, even during lunch rush hour. There’s nothing special about the interior décor, but the food they serve is. The Beef Shawermas Wraps are excellent and quite hefty in size. The beef is full of flavor, as it is marinated and then slowly grilled against an open flamed fire. Once sliced thinly, it is wrapped in lavish bread that is slightly toasted to a nice crunch. The tahini sauce is a great addition to the wrap. The service is always speedy and friendly. They typically bring the food to you when ready, even to the outside seating area. All in all, it’s a great place to grab lunch and a great alternative to Dish N Dash down the street.

I used to work near this locale and since there arent too many food choices in walking distance, this would be one of the stops. Falafels and shawarmas are ok. This is weird considering their new locale in San Jose is good. Strange. Patrons are mostly tech folks from nearby and it can get crowded. Still out of the other food options this still maybe one of the better choices in the immediate area

Reply From Consumer Complaint Agency from the case I filed against this restaurant: «Case #0(SOrry cannot disclose the case number). Successfully Archived. The party/organization has been officially censured by the CCA and a negative designation has been filed in permanent CCA records.» I filed a case against this restaurant for their rude ill-treatment(for informing them about a fly in their food) and this restaurant has been officially censured by the Consumer Complaint Agency. ========= This is What Happened ============ At around 1:55pm on Apr 24, I went to this restaurant and ordered ‘chicken Shawerma plate’ to go. They gave me the box in the plastic bag which I tied a knot, I opened the box to eat and I found a dead fly in the box surprisingly! I am very sure that this was from restaurant because the box was closed and the outer bag had a tight knot and the place where I opened the box is a complete closed meeting room. After a 1hr, I went back to Robee’s Falafel to let them know about the fly and get an another one. The lady who takes an order called her manager(who I think also own the restaurant). The lady(owner/manager) claimed that it was not from her restaurant, in harsh/rude tone(instead of apologizing for inconvenience) and threw the box in trash with anger and she told another lady to pack a new one after I requested her to do so. The painful part here is, once I got the box, I told her that her reply and act was very rude even though it was restaurant’s fault(this restaurant has their door open at all times and there are few trees near by) and she replied«Its my restaurant, I can do whatever I want. Go out of this restaurant and never come back here». I could not believe how the manager was acting for the mistake the restaurant should be accountable for and speak to customers in such a rude way. Hence I had to file a complaint against this restaurant. ============================================ This review might not change your plans of going to this restaurant, but wanted to let you know why I just gave 1 star and enlighten you on how much do they value about their customers who bring them the revenue.

By far, this has got to be the best Falafel Wrap & Yogurt(Tahini?) Sauce I’ve ever tasted thus far! The wrap is warmed up and grilled just at the right temperature; not too crunchy, not too soft. The Falafels were full of flavor and didn’t taste too fried or fattening at all! The yogurt sauce is a done deal! Convenient location, friendly customer service, and a very good alternative to the Subway in the same plaza. Just a thought — –I wish they had the popular Banana Shake like the one @ Falafel’s Drive In! ;)
