The Round Table Pizza on N. Mary Ave.(in Sunnyvale, CA) is the WORST Round Table I’ve ever visited in my entire 40+ year life! Here’s the reasons why: 1.) Customer Service: a.) I called in an order(a «personal» cheese pizza) at 5:35pm on January 9th, 2016. The woman who took my order assured me that«it’ll be ready in 15 minutes.» I arrived at 5:55pm, and was told that«your pizza’s almost done.» But it WASN’T DONE until 6:10pm! They obviously failed to even START my order until I arrived at the restaurant. b.) No crew member even bothered to take responsibility – nor apologize – for this obvious«WHOOOPS.»
2.) Food Quality: Most Round Tables are known for the high-quality of their product – but the tiny, undercooked, and flavorless personal cheese pizza they made for me was hardly as good as a frozen pizza. I would have preferred a couple pieces of «Little Caesar’s» instead. 3.) Restaurant Cleanliness: Although there were only three other diners at the time, all tables were messy and crumb-laden, floors were dirty, employees were unkempt, unprofessional-looking, and the soda machine was grimy! I wouldn’t eat this restaurant’s food again even if it was GIVEN to me! HIGHLYNOTRECOMMENDED!

This restaurant is in a little strip mall at Mary Ave, just off the Central Expressway. Can get quite busy during lunch hours. Crowd comes from nearby offices. The lunch buffet is popular. Free flow of pizza and salad bar. Pizza is usually hot and fresh. Service is average. Once, at peak lunch hour around 1pm, they ran out of pizza! At a buffet lunch pizza parlor? Round Table pizzas are my favorite of the big chain pizza stores though, so taste-wise is good.

Good service, good delivery, great pizza, super greasy, but yummy. We have discovered organic pizza which is not greasy but super good at Z pizza. Sorry Round table.

Just left here about 5 minutes ago. They have an ad that they have a buffet every weekday during lunch hours. There was 30 mins left until their buffet special was to end. We go in and they tell us they didn’t have the buffet today because there weren’t enough people there. There were two pizzas out in the buffet with salads so obviously they had it but didn’t want to bring anything fresh out for the last half hour. That’s false advertisement. I have a toddler and an infant and can’t wait 20 mins in a restaurant without food in front of my child or he will go nuts, so we pick buffets that already have food and we can grab it and feed them. After unloading the kids and going here specifically for their buffet, it was a disappointment to be lied to and have to leave. Zero stars if I could. They lost a regular customer!

Last experience was back in March at the Mary location, we thought we give it another try. You know, some things never change. It’s better to drive a little than deal with the folks at this location. And that’s what we did.

Avoid this Roundtable due to horrible management. I wanted a large pepperoni with a couple of slices just cheese. I told the girl at the counter I will pay for a full pepperoni but just take some pepperoni slices off to leave a few cheese slices. She was so afraid of her manager getting her in trouble she refused. Seriously, give your customers what they want.

Really? Almost $ 60 for two medium pizzas??? Sorry, I don’t even pay that at a sit-down place like Doppio Zero in Mountain View or Blueline pizza. Seriously, I thought Round Table was supposed to be a budget restaurant, and I was shocked at how much these 2 pizzas cost. We went to pick it up and the best they could do for us was offer us a 10% off coupon. The pizza wasn’t even that great — we got the veggie delite or whatever it’s called, and then one that we «designed» ourselves(pepperoni, sausage, artichokes, mushrooms, and olives). So I guess I can understand paying a little bit more for a custom pie, but I think 16 – 18 dollars is reasonable. Not 25!!! And yeah, the pizza was just«meh». Kind of skimpy on the toppings, and it wasn’t that hot. It also took ages for them to make it(despite the«it’ll be ready in 15 minutes» claim when we called in the order). I won’t be back anytime soon. It’s a last-resort type of place.

We went in to order takeout of a extra-large pizza. There was a special of x-large cheese or pepperoni with bread or wings, etc for $ 23. Jesus charged us $ 29 for a x-large cheese, when we pointed out the discount($ 23) he said we were required to have the pizza dine-in. We told him we only wish to have the pizza and not the extra items, can we get the $ 23 price? Jesus goes into this song and dance that there has been a management change who does not give discounts and he has called other RT stores and they are not giving out any discounts either. Then the ultimate insult he tells us that we receive discount coupons via mail and we need to use them. The discount coupons we receive in the mail is for Bernardo and Old San Francisco locations. Going forward we plan to drive a little further to receive a discount. Thanks Jesus for pointing the discounts out!

Ahhhh! I was surprised! My very first time ! honest to god trying round table pizza! I did not expect the crust to be great and doughy! We got the triple pepperoni for dinner and a side of wings ! For $ 20 something dollars we truly got our money’s worth! I thought it would be a disappointment but I was wrong! Round round pizza was a pleasant surprise! Given its fast food, but to be honest,! It’s worth it if your going to do a quick pizza meal! Would most likely choose round table over Pizza Hut(yuck!)

SOmetimes you have those days. Wake up in a weird contorted position, back out of whack and pulling a headache. Yay for the body being a kinetic chain. Not having really moved off the couch all day it was time to get out of the house and make an effort. Lazy enough to not cook I didnt want to wander far or eat for long. Personal pizza, salty fatty, cheesy hit the spot. It’s late and I have the place to myself with Sportscenter, Person of Interest and some weird classic movies. If I were up for it Id hit the stand up arcade but Im just happy to get food at this point

I am in complete awe at how brain numbing my pizza ordering experience just was!!! And a little sad cuz I used to think round table was the best! It’s too long to tell the full story but basically I called the # it sent me to a call center where the guy put me on hold about 5 times and we got as far as pickup location… then I told him about my coupon flier that says«half off Tuesdays! Get 50% off your total purchase every tuesday! *dine in or carry-on only». He put me on hold again and apparently his manager was now on the line, Yesenia. I started to tell Yesenia my location and she began to immediately talk over me to tell me we may or may not honor that coupon. I said«uhhhh what? I thought we were picking a location. ???» And then it just went south from there because she was being incredibly rude and extremely defensive about some coupon I barely mentioned. She’s a nut. I gave up and called Mountain Mikes… 50% off on Tuesdays no coupon and no questions just super nice guys!!!

The workers here are the nicest, most helpful ever! But this place has got to be the dirtiest place I’ve ever seen. From stains on the walls, ugly rusted mirror panels all around. The walls are stained and kicked thousands of times it seems… The door seemed sticky! The counters looked like my brother’s bedroom stand stained with sauce and drinks that have built up for years… Wtf. If I was a neat freak this place would be my nightmare. Isn’t there some health standards??? The salad bar looked like they set it up for a horror fright night. I don’t understand… But I like their TV and the fact that they put the games on. Wow though, I felt compelled to write a review. Pizza was good!!! They loaded it up with tons of meat!!! I’d get food to go. :)

The Friday night manager was super nice. The pizza was very yummy and they did not skimp on cheese like other places. Yes it is not an inexpensive pizza, but worth the price and offset by the $ 7 for a pitcher of beer :)

If you like RTP in general you will like this one. I think I recognized the manager as the guy who ran the RTP at the old Town and Country plaza in downtown Sunnyvale. If so this means the owner is a twenty plus year veteran in this business and knows his stuff. The insides are clean and the parking was a bit crowded but I found a spot. I got the lunch special and it is a good deal. They had an extremely fresh salad bar. The blue cheese dressing is about the best I get in the Bay Area. The pizza choices were about five or six in number which is plenty for me. I think the gripers about the all you can eat deal are the ones that want veggie pizzas or crappy dried out CA pizza concoctions. RTP is old school and they use greasy pepperoni and meat. That’s what makes it taste good. Will be back again when in the neighborhood.

It just doesn’t get any better than Round Table pizza. Worth every penny! They use the best quality, freshest ingredients. King Arthur Supreme and Wombo Combo are both delish.

This place is one of the nicer pizza places in the area. It has 3 nice flat screen TV’s spread out throughout the interior of the restaurant. Has nice outdoor seating. Wait time is pretty average for a restaurant, of course it varies due to the size of the order. All the staff and employee were very friendly and clear with what each pizza consisted of. Garlic Twists are the greatest!

Dear Managers/Owners of this Round Table, Regarding the person that answered your phone, I think her name was Stephanie; she speaks very fast and very robotically. It just screams, «I HATEMYJOBAND I HATEYOUPIZZAORDERINGPEOPLE!» Just an FYI. Your pizza’s solid. Consistently good Round Table pizza. A bit expensive for something that is basically a chain type of pizza place, but hey aren’t you guys the last honest pizza? I suppose gone are the days of having cheap AND good pizza as an option. C’est la vie. Sincerely, Me

I came for the all you can eat pizza lunch with one of my friends and swear to god, I will never, ever, ever, ever return. They have absolutely no reason to brag about their $ 7.99 all you can eat pizzas for lunch due to several reasons: — Very limited pizza options — Pizzas are too greasy — Salads are blah The very smell of oil drifting in the air makes my heart wanna stop beating.

Asked to pick up pizza at 5:45, they wrote down 8:40. Make sure you triple confirm your pick up time. At least they gave me a free soda while I wait for them to make my pizza. Otherwise, I like their pies.
