We stopped in for lunch today for the first time. the bread was fresh as we the ingredients. That said we ordered 2 sandwich he’s a bag of is and a small water costing over $ 25.00. The roasted turkey and cranberry with lettuce, tomato, onion, and lettuce was good but the turkey was definitely not intended for you to know it was I the sandwich. My husband ordered the veggie sandwich and I hand to lift the bread to know which had the turkey. Way over priced as stated by others. Sandwich $ 10.00, $ 3.00 small chips, $ 2.0016 Oz water. We should have tried the shop across the parking lot. We will keep looking for a great sandwich.

I stopped in after getting a haircut at the barber shop next door, and should of walked a few doors further down to Lucky’s deli instead. You could call this place the Molly Stone’s of sandwich shops, where everything costs way more than it should. The sign on the counter says $ 15 minimum credit card purchase, but don’t worry, it’s really not that hard to meet. On the positive side, they’ve got a wide variety of bread and cheese choices, but the meat and topping ingredients are as elemental as it gets. I ordered a roast beef sandwich($ 9.79) on sourdough with lettuce, tomato, mustard and onions. I stood by while the guy was making the sandwich, and grabbed a bag of chips and a Snapple. The total was $ 15.84. The décor is old fashioned, with checkered tablecloths and wood paneling. There’s also two tables outside. The sandwich was nothing special, definitely not worth their premium price, although it tasted good and all the ingredients were fresh. They also offer some daily specials that I would try if I ever come back.

Most dissapointing sandwhich I’ve ever had. $ 10.50 for a nasty sandwhich I could have made at home. Do not order the turkey club, nothing like what I expected. SEEPIX.

one word over-priced. 10 bucks for a sandwich and couple of dollars for a tiny bottle of water, 3 bucks for chips. seriously?

Super good! I got the chicken pesto with Dutch crunch bread – all of it was amazing and the service was fast and friendly! The cookie was great too!

This place is a bit pricy and basically a one man show so service is a bit slow. But wow! What a great sandwich! I had a turkey club and the wife had the Tuna melt, both were amazing!

We came here for lunch today. The sandwiches are made step by step, not an assembly line like Subway. They are fresh and made high quality. My wife had the turkey with cheese and avocado. She added pesto. They make their own pesto in-house. Yum. I had the pastrami. Great taste very fresh. We’ll be back. They may take a little longer to prepare the sandwich, but it’s worth it.

I had lunch today at Shaw’s. This is a really good sandwich place. Chicken pesto sandwich was really good! Besides sandwich, Shaw’s also has Rice with Chicken teriyaki which my friend had and did not like, it was expensive too. The sandwiches are really good though, I have tried all of their chicken sandwiches and I have never been dissapointed, there are lots of parking spaces in front of the shop and I have never had to wait in line to get a table.

Woo… $ 15 ish for the spicy chicken and rice special and a drink. Came with said spicy chicken and rice, watermelon cubes, potato salad, salad, and one other thing so forgettable that even as I look at my plate I can’t remember what it was. The chicken itself was fine but the sauce… Ugh. A syrupy, mildly spicy goop drenched on top and warmed in a microwave before your very eyes. Salad was okay. Really, the watermellon was the only standout and, hey, it’s watermellon. For $ 8 or $ 9, I could forgive it but not at nearly $ 15.

Owned since 1995, this little sandwich shop makes some pretty good hot sandwiches, especially the Pesto Chicken and Chipotle Chicken. The service is very kind and they are sure to ask what your preferences are for your sandwiches because everyone likes their sandwiches a little different at the least. They use fresh ingredients which in my opinion makes their sandwiches so good. I come here often for lunch and bring along friends and co workers all the time. Thanks again Shaw’s Sandwiches!

I have been coming here for years ans stopped due to the rude owner and the overpriced food. I went back a year ago and liked the spicy chicken plate. I went in last evening and placed my order and the owner says cash only. So I looked and had $ 21. which is $ 3 short of my purchase. She tells me to go to Lucky and get money from the atm or order less food. REALLY. She thinks she is doing me a favor by making me a sandwich. She can keep it and I will be boycotting again. Good luck staying in business with that attitude.

Meh. I wasn’t overall impressed with their overpriced sandwiches located in the plaza next to Lucky’s Supermarket. I don’t understand how their pricing is high when they aren’t that extravagant. I had the rye bread with roast beef with most of the ingredients in. It tasted super sour… My sandwich got too watery to the point it keeps dripping the sauce down. My friend didn’t like his sandwich, either. I wasn’t satisfy with my order but the lady was nice to me so I’ll give this place a 3 star. I should’ve gotten a $ 5 footlong sandwich at Subway instead.

Terrible customer service. Considering it was 12:30pm you would think it would be busy. It wasn’t. The person who was supposed to be helping me didn’t even same to care. I walked out w/o paying for the sandwich and left the product there. They are extremely disrespectful.

10 $ minimum credit charge. Most sandwiches are over 8 $ and chips are 2.19 $. Better places around for those prices. Edible though.

After the new outside makeover. I thought maybe they should do a change up on their Sandwiches and plates on the menu. Just to clarify its not a bad place, just nothing to phone home about. When choosing my lunch spot. Wow I wanna go to Shaw’s for lunch. But Alas I came here again just to pick up lunch for my boss, cuz we work really close by. Price wise yes this is a little over prices $$. Will i come back for my own lunch. most likely not…

When I first walked in, I thought this place looked pretty good. I ordered the teriyaki chicken sandwich on a French roll. The price of the sandwich with no drink or chips came out to $ 9.89. Pretty expensive for just a sandwich. I took it back to work and at first glance, it looked like a decent sandwich. Good size and it looked appetizing until my first bite. The chicken was very salty and it didn’t help that they over coated it with salty teriyaki sauce. The lettuce wasn’t shredded, just a few squared pieces and the cheese was just overwhelming(should have left it out). It was so salty, I couldn’t finish the other half. In summary, I wasn’t impressed with the sandwich. The price I paid for it was about $ 4.00 to high and the service was just ok. I was probably the first person they served since no one else was in the restaurant at the time, so it’s probably not a good assessment on the service. In my opinion, it would have probably been worse since the two people working were little old Asian ladies and it did take about 5 minutes to make my sandwich. I want to see small businesses succeed, but they have to improve two things if they want to stay in business: the prices have to be reduced to compete against the majors in the area(Togo’s and Subway) and the quality of their product needs to get better. Service could improve as well.

Just way to overpriced. The highest quality ingredient they have is the bread. After that the meat and cheese is just so so average quality. Turkey cheese and small coke with chips 12.80 cents. In short I could have gone to Outback Steakhouse and had a full meal for like 7 dollars more. Just your run of the mill sandwich shop in a pricey zip code with a pricey sandwich. I thought maybe I would try some of the other sandwiches at a future date but the quality of the turkey and ham was just so subpar. Good luck Unilocalers.
