Great staff and great food! Reminds me of Ike’s! I love how they are different than most chains. Like the fact that it’s not cold turkey on their sandwiches! Everyone is really sweet! A+ on customer service!

Love Love Love this Sandwich Spot! Had probably about 15 sandwiches and NEVER had a bad experience. Awesome sauces. The veggie bird is so good! I can’t believe it’s not real chicken! But also the meat sandwiches are awesome! Service is nice too. Always smiling, and seem to always be in a good mood, too !

I ordered the Farmer’s Market sandwich and it was delicious. I’m sure this place gets crowded during peak times, but I’ll be back. And, it’s next door to Philz.

Sooooooooooooooo bomb! I’ve only ordered the Dirty Bird, but it is sooooo good! The bread and ingredients are so fresh. I usually come by during my lunch with some co-workers and we have never been disappointed! Highly recommend :) Sometimes its packed during lunch hour, so you can always order online or call in your order for quicker services!

I like this sandwich shop. But if you could add pickles, tomato and lettuce for your sandwich, I highly recommend you not to add only pickles even if it would be free of charge. Pickles itself should be fine but combination between pickles and sandwich must not be appropriate for its taste unfortunately because it would be very sour. Next time I would like to order another sandwich without pickles. But totally I can recommend this café for lunch actually.

You can ask for a lettuce wrap for a low-carb option!!! A+++ (Hubby also loves their Dutch crunch)

Whelp, once again I tried this place out and the same chick that was a total twat last time is still employed there, I cant understand why!!! It’s obviously that it is not only her that is making this place a shit show, it has to come from somewhere(the top.) But they take zero pride and priority in their work, and make the people who phone in orders wait until they are ready to make your food. Took 30 minutes for one frickin sandwich to be made, and I stood there for 20 of the 30 minutes as I saw people that stood in line, ordered, paid, and finished there sandwich before I got my one sammie. Sorry Christopher, but enough is enough. Never returning again, and will continue to support the Mtn. View location.

Well, that was the tastiest sandwich I’ve had for a longtime! I chose the Dirty Bird. Turkey Avocado, added Sprouts(hold the cream cheese) in Dutch crunch. Absolutely delicious and it’s hard to impress me with a sandwich! I’ll be back for sure. Note: give yourself extra time during the week during lunch rush. Also, save yourself the hassle of parking across the street. there’s a great parking structure just beneath them. Lastly, great space for outdoor eating on a sun shine filled day!

I’ve been on a sandwich kick lately and Sandwich Spot is darn good. These sandwiches are massive and there’s something for everyone, but the service is what stands out the most. The guys who work here wear big smiles, which is much appreciated :).

OMG! Why did it take me so long to come in here and sit my butt down and have a sandwich? Oh I know why! Because for a while when I slide through downtown Sunnyvale this spot was crowded! That right there sent me a positive message. The other day 4÷12÷16, I had to try the Sandwich Spot. I ordered the Golden Gate. The bread is soft! It has turkey, bacon, avacado with mayonnaise and mustard. It also has a secret sauce. Whatever it is, it’s yummy! It was so good, I had to come back, 4÷14÷16. I’ll be back AGAIN because they have several sandwiches I must try! Lastly, the staff are very nice and they welcome you with open arms!

Kind of more of a 3.5, but not great enough to be a 4. Really nice staff. Super awkward setup for the tables in the middle area to accommodate the line. Really recommend they rearrange that. You could probably move the tables toward the walls and just make one of those«TSA lines» that winds around a little right in front of the counter. Menu isn’t always clear about which sandwiches are hot/cold.(Some say«hot turkey» — but the one I ordered was apparently a hot sandwich but did not say«hot turkey,» so I didn’t know.) Also, menu has separate vegetarian options with a variety of vegetables, none of which are shown on a list for you to be able to add to a non-vegetarian sandwich. I was staring at the menu confused and overwhelmed for a while. Dutch crunch was really good; a friend advised me they are known for this. Good call to try it on your sandwich! Also had a clam chowder that was actually pretty good considering we were at a fast casual joint and not in SF. Sandwiches are a good(enough to feel 2 people) size.

I’ve tried pretty much everything on the menu, and so far I’m really digging this place. Dirty Bird, The Big Saucy, Best of the West, CHICKENCHIPOTLE, Chicken Pesto… ah screw it they’re all good! I wish they were a little bit bigger, or maybe the option for a footlong like subway! Update: I’m big into the Chicken Chipotle and Crab Sandwich right now. Full Monty is really good too.

I came here during lunch hour and I’m glad I just missed the rush hour because the line is out of the door. The service is very attentive. I ordered the Silicon Valley Slammer, it was fresh and tasty. If I work nearby, I would love to come here for lunch every week.

Note that the various locations in the Bay Area are franchises. So, your Frequent diner card may only work at the location you picked it up from. I found that out the hard way when I handed the cashier at the Sunnyvale location, the card from the Mountain View location. Other than that, everything was fine. The people working there are friendly and helpful. They have a large number of signature sandwiches or you can customize one yourself. We picked up a tuna salad sandwich on sliced sourdough. It was lightly toasted and the taste was spot on. My daughter ate only half of it there and ate the rest the following day. She enjoyed it both times!

I have ordered here a dozen times, the food is usually perfect, today I ordered through doordash. The order was really backwards. I have slight dietary food problems and the mix up left me without lunch. This is unusual and weired for this franchise. I can’t physically go there as I broke my foot. Door dash was on time and I am unsure if drivers put in the orders or if the kitchen made this mistake. The photos are of the flying Hawaiian with the hogfather specific requests with proof of order. My boyfriend is happy though.

This place always has a line and it’s only because they do have the best sandwiches in town! Had the Hmmm baby which is the vegetarian option. The portobello mushroom is always fresh and the sauce and trimmings were all fresh! The lady at the cash register is always nice and very helpful! This place is amazing! A must try indeed!

Healthy, DELICIOUS, friendly, fast, next to Philz, easy parking, plenty of seating. What more can you ask for?! I ordered a chicken salad + all the veggies + with balsamic vinegar + olive oil to go and was not disappointed. Granted, you can’t really go wrong with this combination(and admittedly is quite basic), BUT I was craving something clean and filling, and this salad hit the spot for me. Note about customer service: two siblings were in front of me and while the sister ordered, I noticed that her younger brother was a bit different. He mumbled words and couldn’t make eye contact with the employee who asked for his order. Noticing this right away, the guy came out of the food prep area to the line and took his order. I was so impressed by this level of service and his willingness to make sure the brother was comfortable. I really appreciated this gesture and totally restored my faith in humanity.

Fast friendly service, filling sandwiches, reasonably priced. We ordered: Chicken pesto: 3⁄5 very creamy pesto sauce, juicy chicken, soft French bread. I asked for the bomb sauce in the side. Tri tip: 4⁄5 smoky bacon flavor, tasty tri tip meat, really good Dutch crunch bread. The clear winner. Minestrone soup: decent cup of hot soup on a rainy day. The cashier even gave my daughter a complimentary chocolate chip cookie. :) We parked across the street in the parking lot and walked over. There is plenty of outside seating, too bad it was raining and cold today.

Was disappointed to find out my roast beef sandwich was actually a turkey bacon after I left the shop. I don’t like bacon… Nice people, but was looking forward to that roast beef.
