This is the closest coffee place to my home and I completely avoid it. It makes me sad that the employees are so apathetic. They really don’t care about quality or customer service. A few years ago it was almost a daily routine to walk a mile and enjoy a tasty drink, but now: sigh:. I’m not sure why I wrote the review as it will not change anything.

I’ve had bad experiences here in the past, but decided to give it another try because I live around the corner and they remodeled. I was curious to see if quality or service had improved. First off, don’t come here in the morning! Way too crowed! The lines are ridiculous and the parking lot is tiny and almost always full. You’ll have to wait until someone leaves to get a spot. I once waited 5 minutes to get a parking space, 10 minutes in line, and about 15 – 20 minutes for my drink. I would rather have slept in another 35 minutes than wait that long for a half decent espresso drink made by an inexperienced teenager barista. They also won’t take drink orders 10 – 15 minutes before they close, even though its against policy. I get it; I used to work at Starbucks and found it annoying when customers came in at the last minute. That being said, it was also annoying for me to be turned away when I wanted to pay for something in a place open for business. There are simply too many other quality starbucks locations close by; it’s not worth it to waste my time here. I’ll try again in a year or so.

I stopped going to Starbucks because it was too much sugar and all and i am trying to diet. I meet a friend their recently and didn’t want to let them drink alone so i ordered my usual and asked if they could use coconut milk instead. they said yes!!! I was shocked that they had coconut milk as it has tons less sugar than regular milk and is very good for you. My only request is that they offer unsweetened coconut milk as well as vanilla coconut milk wich is what they had. So happy i can still have a treat without going overboard on the sugar.

I really enjoy this Starbucks. I come here fairly often for coffee meetings with friends. Last time I was here the Staff had us all leave due to emergency reasons. Apparently someone smelled gas, so the staff politely and quickly got us all out of there. It was a bummer to have to move my meeting, but it was great that our safety was their top concern. 5 stars for safety!

I went in this morning a little before 8:30 and I requested for one of the gals to make my drink because she has for as long as i’ve been going there, cant remember her name but she has long black hair and has been there for a while she also has great customer service skills anyways there was one other girl that made my drink before but didn’t really like how she made it, I think she was one of the newer girls with long black hair but I just wanted to stay consistent w the one I like so I don’t waist my money on strong and bitter iced coffee. Then another girl called my name she has dirty blonde hair, I think the manager and asked if there was something wrong with my coffee which I haven’t received yet, I then explained to her that I just like the way the gal I requested makes my drink because she’s always consistent. I did not appreciate how she came up to me and approached me I asked if there’s a reason y she couldn’t make my drink and she said she is going on her lunch break, lunch break really it was 8:30 in the morning, so I think she was giving me false information because maybe she felt offended that I requested who I did. Anyways my point is that when a paying customer requests someone specific someone who has been consistent with making there coffee how the customer likes it you don’t approach them with a demeaning tone you give the customer what they want so they can leave starbucks satisfied and so they(as in starbucks) wont receive something like a bad Unilocal review or a complaint in general. Customer is always right! Every starbucks makes drinks differently and it depends on the BARISTA. By the way it was location 201 s. mary ave

I have come several times. They have four to five people they do not keep the creamerc stand stocked. You have to wait in order line to get it restocked. They lose your pastry which is not warmed up and they are not courteous or cognucent of how they treat the customers. I hope the owner understands the gravity of this. I have 4⁄5 times had this experience and now conclude it is fair to give this evaluation

I have been going to this location off and on for the last eight years. Usually the coffee is good, but not this time. The ice coffee that I ordered was okay until I began to drink to the bottom of the cup. Then I saw lots of water. The folks here makes their ice coffee with water. Not good. It was so watered down that I couldn’t finish it and toss it on my way out into the trash. Avoid this location late in the morning. Otherwise, be prepared to wait in a very long line.

I admit I’ve gone here often just because of the convince of the location. Walking distance = win for me. However it had gotten so bad in customer service and wait time I actually would drive to another Starbucks, or made my own drinks at home rather than visit this location. After the remodel it has gotten better regarding customer service, however the wait times are become similar to before. Just yesterday there were 10+ people waiting for drinks with me as more came in. Staff was focused on getting orders paid and pastries to go rather than working on drinks. I was there for close to 20 minutes total, only because they messed up the order of drinks and I got mine way before others waiting do theirs before I even came in the door… Lucky for me but unfair to them. Also with the remodel, unlike others I don’t like it at all. Yes it opened up the space but where are the comfy chairs I loved? Or the Starbucks mugs and presents I’d buy to send to friends. Now it feels unwelcoming, I get my drink and go.

Since the remodel of this location the service has exceptionally improved. Friendly baristas. Their staff turn over rate has been really high for the last few months. Every few weeks you’ll see a new face. It’s a hit or miss.

I’ve patronized all the Starbucks in the MV/Sunnyvale area. This one wins hands down as best for the combination of: a) quickest; b) cleanest; c) friendliest; and d)(most importantly) well made drinks. In over a year of daily/weekday visits, only once have they gotten my drink wrong. The store is very well run. The patrons are friendly. The staff is top notch.

Just got a vanilla scone with MOLD on it. I brought it back and showed them and the shift leader or manager insisted it isn’t mold and that it is the vanilla bean. Wow. I know what mold looks like and it was GREEN! Def not vanilla bean. Why fight me on it? Shouldn’t you just replace it??? Never going back to this Starbucks.

Wow! The recent remodel looks great! The space management has really opened up the floor design. Jessica and her crew are doing an amazing job and I’m glad they’re back in business. Bill

Ok, update time… The staff has greatly improved however, the wait time is still tough sometimes. I have to keep it at 4 stars due to the overall cleanliness needs work. I don’t care for the change of tea brands(that is not a reflection of this location though, I know). I admit that I still go back to this location for my occasional treat.

I Love this Place! My co-worker and I come here just about every morning. ALL the staff here are very friendly and efficient! Even when this place is packed you receive friendly and excellent service and they keep the line moving. Erika, Jess, Andrew and Joesph are the best! The Newer employees are fabulous too! Walking into this store, kind of reminds me of the old TV show Cheers.

My go to Starbucks. The morning staff is fast, efficient & friendly.(Can’t comment on any other times of the day). My only complaint about this store is about the parking.(Not starbucks fault). The lot is small, the spaces seem just a bit smaller than normal. On any week day morning I always seem to be parked at the other end of the parking log If you come on a Saturday morning — and the martial arts class is in session, you won;t be able to park — there is parking around the back but it’s typically full too.

This is a standard Starbucks location. The staff is super friendly at this location and the line moves pretty fast. Pros: 10 inside tables Over 5 outside Google wifi Bathroom is fairly clean and well stocked Cons: Parking lot is super tiny and is often full Place fills up fast too so most indoor tables are full

This Starbucks is right around the corner from my place, so I come here more often than I’d like to admit. Unfortunately for me, this is probably the worst Starbucks location I’ve ever had the pleasure of patronizing. The service here is soooo SSSLLOOOWWW. I don’t know what it is with this location, but they always seem to be training new, confused baristas. The few baristas who have been there for a while are relatively efficient, but all the newbies really slow down the operation. I’m usually one of three or so customers here at 6:00am, and it often takes up to 15 minutes to get an espresso drink. Don’t even get me started on the weekend service — the lines are usually out the door because they can’t take orders quickly enough. As if the wait time wasn’t bad enough, I’ve been here twice recently when they ran out of soy. Who runs out of soy?! There are a lot of people around here, like me, who can’t drink regular milk! The barista even had the audacity to say to me, «Aww, you seem so lost.» I WAS lost, lady! I need my soy! Get it together, Starbucks!

I’ve been patronizing this Starbucks location since my office moved to this area in 2010. It had been a vast improvement over the Starbucks located on Mathilda and Maude. This past summer, the staff and the management changed. Now half of the staff seems to be perpetually dazed and confused. The other half are perfectly helpful and courteous. One of the girls is passive aggressive. «What drink can I get started for you?» is accompanied by a dirty look. After she takes the drink order, she rolls her eyes. Lady, if you don’t like working with people, please go find a job somewhere else that doesn’t involve interacting with people. It would be nice if the other dysfunctional half of the staff were retrained to properly greet customers with«Good morning» instead«what did you want?» with an annoyed look. No ones needs that attitude at 6am. Or at 8am or 10am or 1pm. Overall, the staff takes longer to get any of the drinks out to you. This is probably due to half of the staff being dazed and confused. I’ve been coming to this location less frequently and patronizing a different coffee chain more frequently.

I asked for half syrup in my passion tea lemonade, and they ended up putting in zero syrup. Cool.
