Based on the other reviews, I must have seen Dr. Lynn on her bad days. She was curt and short-tempered with me. She kept yelling that I needed to be still because it was a positive EMG and she knew it hurt. I was in tears and I don’t know if it was the pain from the test or her behavior. At the end of the last appointment, she yelled at me –YES, YELLEDATME – and then I knew it was her behavior that caused those tears. She was angry that I wanted a copy of a report. I left the office crying and still had to drive home. Maybe she remembered the Hippocratic Oath — First Do No Harm — because she called me that evening and apologized for yelling at me and making me cry. I never went back because I can be yelled at by doctors much closer to my home. I agree that the receptionist doesn’t have a clue about what’s going on. She’s rude and just shoves papers at you to sign. She gave me no info before the EMG and acted like I should have figured it out or asked someone. I was the first appointment after lunch every appointment(I think there were 3) and they were both late returning to the office. I had to sit outside half hour waiting for them then sit inside another 20 minutes for them to get things ready. I do not recommend anyone go to the office unless you just enjoy being emotionally, verbally, and physically abused. For medical professionals, they were two of the meanest people I have dealt with. There are many other neurologists who have better bedside manners and probably closer to your home. Don’t waste your time or gas.

I went to Dr. Thynn Lynn’s office for EMG test. I will not go back to her and recommend any of friends NOT to go to her. Here are some reasons why. A) receptionist does not know what she is doing. She called me to confirm address to send me form prior to test and this part was ok but she also told me not to take any pain medication prior to test. Once I got there and seen by doctor, it was ok for me to take pain medication. My appt was 2:30pm and I was suffering all day with pain due to this. B) made me wait for 30 min even I was first patient. I was first patient in the afternoon and I have arrived 20 min early. Since office has sent me form early, I was ready to go at 2:30pm as they instructed me via phone. Doctor had claimed I was unusual patient who came early and already filled form. C) Dr. Lynn had bad bedside manner. EMG test is painful as it is. Doctor and receptionist made my experience even worst.

I’ve been to Dr. Lynn twice in the last 2 years for carpal tunnel tests. She was very friendly and caring both times and even remembered me the second time after a year. While the tests aren’t fun or comfortable, her demeanor helps to make it as pleasant as possible. I would definitely recommend her to anyone needing an EMG test.

went for an emg test. one where they poke tiny needles in various parts of your body and also run electrical currents. the dr is an azn female probably in her 50s? i’m someone who does not like needles or like to be electrocuted w/o specific reasons… she was sensitive enough to care about how you were holding up during the test and i would recommend fellow Unilocalers to go to her for the test. her testing room could use a tv or some music to keep people entertained/relaxed while getting the test as it DOESHURT and would make one nervous.
