The bartender is super nice drinks are amazing we just happened to come across this place an more then glad we did.

Kirsten the cute blond bartender was awesome. Very nice and attentive! I will come back when i am in the area!

This place is really nice, I love the decoration, really beautiful and clean.
Ashely is amazing, she makes you feel so comfortable! She made my birthday night really nice!
The only thing I was sad about is that there is no more food after 10pm so my friends couldn’t eat.

Ask for Kristen! After passing the lounge a trillion times, I finally ended up walking in because it looked pretty cool. The cocktails are on par with what I’ve had at specialty venues and the atmosphere is amazing!
The bar counters were large enough for me to work on my laptop as I enjoyed my cocktail! Such a refreshing change from working at Starbucks.

Ask for Ashley. She amazeballs. She has the sweetest personality ever and makes the best drinks. She made me a blackeberry, gin, cucumber thing and it was so awesome! !!! I would definitely come back here again! !!! Come here and visit her. Seriously. Now

Another quality bar to add to your bar hopping tour of Murphy street.
If you start early enough you can make their happy hour. They have a couple of micro-​brews on tap and the lobby — like all ALoft’s are pretty cool. It’s a regular stop for us now.

Ashley is 100% amazing. We have had such a great time all week spending our evenings here and don’t even want to go anywhere else! On top of her amazing personality and great service she is a master drink created with lots of creativity! Thanks a million for a wonderful set of evenings!

Great atmosphere. Not too crowded but not dead for a Monday night – Cherry Fizz Martini was delishhhhh – super cute and sweet bartender. BOOM.

Booked a last minute room for my parents at Aloft.
The location is great and the staff is extremely friendly. The best part is the Wxyz lounge with their amazing bartender Ashley they really know how to make you a real drink.
I highly recommend the hotel and the lounge. Even if you don’t need to stay at the hotel, I suggest checking out the bar.

Nice ambience, comfortable leather barstools, & one of the most kick a$$ bartenders ever. Ashley made us feel at home with her recommendations, expertise in mixology & friendly conversation. Will definitely be back for happy hour.

We came here on Sat night after had dinner near by, we were just checking out the place.
We asked for some mix cocktails, there is no menu, and they were unable to make the first few drink choices my friend wanted.
I got myself a Oban whiskey, she poured loose ice in the glass and pretty much ruined the whisky.
Over all, the environment is pretty nice, cozy and trendy. They have very good whiskey selections, though expensive, but good selections, just order neat.
They also have limited beer on tap.
Apparently, they haven’t got everything in order yet.

Nice place, friendly staff, close to downtown Sunnyvale and my apartment lol

We had a happy hour /​birthday event at the WXYZ Lounge on Friday night, and it was a fantastic experience! The bar area is very swanky/​modern, and the happy hour («Sassy Hour») specials were great. We ended up with about 25 people, and Barbie took care of us all incredibly well. Be sure to try the tater tots!

Ashley’s the bomb!!! With the last min. Decision to have a small get together she made it happen. A few little bumps we hit in the night but she took care of the issue like a pro. Excellent customer service with a genuine attitude. I was selfish I should of called to tell them but I didn’t because I wasn’t expecting many people. I’m thankful for those that made it out to make my bday special. Thanks Ashley for making this a memorable bday. I’ll see you soon.

Great new local hang out in Sunnyvale definitely worth stopping by. Will be by again.

Barbie and Doug have always made us feel like family, simply because we stop by XYZ often to see them on walks or visits to Murphy and can’t help but respond to their welcoming, receptive nature with us … every single time. We feel like valued friends who have been sure that Barbie, Doug, and XYZ know that they are our favorite neighborhood home away from home.

Fantastic bar staff and great cocktails! The food is awesome and I know a new menu is coming out. Ask for Barbie the amazing bartender Barbie!

I stopped by the W XYZ Lounge on opening night (³⁄₁₂). The hotel is still under some renovation construction, but the bar was fully functional!
Ashley was a friendly and helpful bartender. Though busy serving guests, she took the time to explain the ingredients in the cocktails. She had made her own recipe for a fruity, bubbly berry cocktail. Hopefully, she’ll have a name for the drink and printed onto the cocktail menu soon!
It’s great to have a hotel bar in the downtown Sunnyvale neighborhood (and very close to the CalTrain stop!). The lounge area is comfortable with tables and couches, giving people lots of options for conversing while enjoying a drink. It looks like W XYZ will be a great place for visitors and locals, alike.
Can’t wait to go back!
