I have been living here since March 2012(4+ years) and absolutely love this place. You wont realize the importance of this place until you move towards far in side of the city. So many stores and restaurants within 2 miles. Best features– . Ample parking . Pretty low rent .Good community with mostly family occupants(asia, americans, mexicans) .staff is very polite and courteous(no issues and happy to help at earliest) . staff cleans up the complex almost on daily basis so you wouldnt find any trash or other garbage. Bad– .Non gated(which is again not a problem but some people prefer it) .laundry is shared(no issue with laundry or anything but its just that if you are lazy bum like me, you want laundry in your unit at your own luxury) Advice for staff– Allow laundry after 10PM but make it optional with a separate key as some people would like to get laundry done overnight.

This will be my final review. I lived at Willow Pond from Oct 2005 to March 2010. I don’t want to say what my rent was exactly, but it was the cheapest AND nicest place I found out of 5 complexes in Sunnyvale that I visited when I moved to the area. I had two rent increases in my 5 years there, ending up $ 250 more than when I started. But that’s okay because even then it was still a really good deal. On top of that, it was a month-to-month lease, which came in handy when I moved out. Speaking of moving out, that went smoothly as well. I got my original deposit back, minus $ 60 for a cleaning fee, which is reasonable(even though I did clean thoroughly). There was no hassle or fight when I moved out and the management was very professional and kind. I wouldn’t say it’s perfect there, but it was pretty good. The problems I had were: — Noise from the nearby Safeway/shopping center trucks — Really crappy dryer machines in the wash room that barely dry at all — Parking lot can be cramped at times; always had to wash car in fire lane, lol — Swimming pool and hot tub are in the middle of everything Some good things about living here are that you have a Safeway, Walgreens, and Best Buy, Petco, Starbucks, Jamba Juice, and other things all within very close walking distance. The grounds are kept up very well. They rake up and do gardening every morning. I’ve never had a problem with the management and getting them to do repairs. I’ve had them replace the dishwasher and some shower fixtures. I’ve seen them doing pest treatment for a neighbor. So if you can deal with a bit of noise and maybe a little cramping on the grounds, then you’ll like it here. Emphasis on affordable rent in a safe area.
