A fantastic festival for the kids! The BF and I stumbled across this festival happening as we went on a hike. We decided to visit the festival last as a reward for finishing the hike. As we came down Flag Hill Trail, we heard music wafting up. Excited, we made our way to the festival and checked out the various booths they had. Lots of crafts for the kids such as papermaking, a stamp rally(find different flowers and bugs and stamp your card!), leaf art on a t-shirt, guided wildflower hikes, and other activities. There was also information about the park and I picked up some gorgeous wildflower cards that was taken by a local photographer of the flowers that grow in the park. There were lots of horses and you can ride some of the trails or ask questions of the owners. We spent about 45 minute and found out a lot of great information as well as picking up a wilderness permit to go hiking on the Ohlone Wilderness Trail. I might have to bring out the godkid next time this happens. :D
