Johnny Rockets

I was at Johnny Rockets earlier! I ordered the two for 1 not your fathers root beer float! The waitress brought me my drink saying that the 2−4−1 is 2 scoops of ice cream and 1 drink! Are you kidding me! What’s the point of having it on your menu! The that 1 BEER COST ME 11 dollars! Never again! MY FIRST TIME THERE AND IT WILL BE MY LAST!

FOOD POISONNING Stopped in and got a to go
Order, a burger and 2 drinks, $ 20, burger was undercooked, realized to late, was violently sick, after eating burger, called restaurant and spoke with manager, was told we will look into this and call you back, NEVER got a call back!
Will never visit this place again and advise anyone else not to either FOOD POISONING!!!

Food is overpriced for quality especially the shakes for $ 7 and mediocre. Was very blah and not what it used to be. I used to love their food but it seems Johnny Rockets have fell off.

I visited Johnny Rockets today with my husband after seeing a movie across the courtyard. We sat at the bar for the first time (we are somewhat regulars) it was empty so the Bartender/​waitress greeted and took our order very quickly! The experience started off quite nice. She was friendly and seemed to have no trouble taking our order for two veggie burgers. My husband and I have completely different preferences when it comes to what we order on our burgers but it was simple enough. I pretty much ordered the burger how it was stated on the menu but his was a bit more of an add this and deduct that. He specifically said that he did not want mustard or pickles. She took our order which we both stated to her and then she repeated it back to us. About 10mins or so later we received our meal. After taking a bite into his burger my husband realized that they not only put pickles on his burger but there was mustard on it as well. The Waitress came back over to ask if everything was ok and I told her that they had put both pickles and mustard on his burger. She tried to at first say that the pickles were the green peppers that my husband had requested on his burger but ended up apologizing and taking the burger to the kitchen to be fixed. A short 5 mins later she returned with the SAME burger where the one bite had been taken out of it. You could still see the mustard on the bun and the bottom of the veggie patty. They had wiped off the mustard and dissected the burger to remove the pickles. We almost could not believe what we were witnessing. Really this is the type of customer service this establishment provides when a mistake is made on the kitchens behalf?!! Oh and to top it off this waitress had the audacity to re ensure the fact that they had reused the same material to «fix» the burger. My husband was so upset! She could see this on his face and kept apologizing. She said that she would take it to be redone. WTF!!! She was suppose to have done that the first time. Worst experience at this restaurant ever. Not sure when or if ever we will return. The crazy part was that they weren’t busy. How long would it have taken to make another burger the right way to begin with. Why allow your menu to be customized at your customers request if you are going to fail on the deliver and when you make a mistake disgust your customers! Johnny Rockets needs to reevaluate their staff.

Great happy hour; the food was wonderful. AND we were lucky enough to get the manager, Laurel, as our server. She was amazing! Super attentive and friendly. Verrrrrry patient with our raucous party. Loved it!!!

Horrible! We wanted a couple drinks before we saw a movie. We walked in and sat at the bar for 20 minutes. Then finally I asked one of the many poeple that had walked pasted me if there was a bartender. They said «only the manager can serve drinks and we are trying to find her». 5 minutes later they said that they found her in the back office and she would be there soon. Finally a blond girl came out. I asked about the drink specials. One of the things she mentioned was a frozon jack and coke. I asked if I could get the same 2 for 1 deal on the jack and coke without being frozen. Her reply: «i told you that werent you listening»!!! She only mentioned it as frozen. So i repeated my question again and she said it was fine as if im the idiot. So i ordered a jack and coke. She then made the drinks. She clearly is not a bartender. She put the coke in first. All the liquor was at the bottom. So we sat there finishing our drinks. The whole time we were swatting gnats all over the bar. It was filthy! Spilled drinks and old coasters all over the bar. Trash all over the floor. DISGUSTING! Do not go here!!! We went nextdoor to the Billard Club and it was clean, cheaper, and had a very skilled bartender. Stay away from this Johnny Rockets location. You will regret it i promise.

Came here for a quick bite to eat with my son before we did some shopping. We were greeted promptly which was a plus. Our server was nice and joked around a bit with my son. The food came out quickly and was pretty good. I eat at JR often enough so I was expecting «ok» food (lately I’ve been seeing a decline in the food and service in the various JR that I’ve visited, namely Aventura and Dolphin Mall). But I must say the fries were fresh and my burger was delicious. The server made sure our glasses were full and didn’t take long closing out my check. All in all it was a good visit. I would return :-)

Fun place to eat with lots of games to play for old and young. They specialize in burgers and fries but there’s plenty of variety. Get the smokehouse burger and make sure you add the fried egg and extra bacon.

Deceitful marketing practices. They have a a secrete menu that you need to ask for. Not everyone is offered the deal. $ 16.00 for a meal plus 1hr gameroom card. The food is just a notch better than the bowling alley. Fries. Nachos. Cheesesteak. Chicken tenders. Etc. Service is crap. And rushed. Food is overpriced. The only reason to eat at this shit hold would be to have a place to sit while your kids are playing games.

Stay away stay away rip off rip off the food took forever everything convivial food took for ever all I have to say is where the beef food luck first and last time never again be warned you are never going to make it close the door, plus I thought I saw rat run near the rest room area

Been here twice already, and their burgers are grrrrrreat !!! Their shakes are average. Service, I can not complaint, the bartender was on top of things (I sat at the bar both times). I am not crazy with the prices … I guess because the location they are in. But it is definitely a good spot to try if you are in the area and hungry and willing to spend a few extra bucks.

Went back to this location after a few years, they are now attached to what was the Gameworks so the situation is a little strange. First and foremost unlike other locations this one has the game center located on the other side so it’s kind of jarring to look and see some machines flashing on the other side of the wall. My biggest issue with it is the fact that when you cross to go the bathroom you have to cross through the game floor. While i was there on a Friday afternoon and it wasn’t full, I can only imagine in the evening and how annoying it would be to go to the bathroom during this time. So fair warning don’t bring your date here, unless you two are gonna play games then it’s perfect.
As for the food, it is Johnny Rockets so burgers and fries. I had my usual patty melt which wasn’t bad but it wasn’t the most amazing. The patty to bread ratio was a bit high, so I ended up pulling out the meat and eating it without the bread. The meat was seasoned fine and it was just a regular ol patty melt. Fries were good and crispy as well as good on salt, so it wasn’t bad and not overly oily.
Service wasn’t bad, waitress did come by and ask how we were and such. The only downside was that she brought another coke without asking. I know she meant well, but the fact that I didn’t ask made it awkward since I didn’t want anymore soda and I was done eating so it felt a bit wasteful. That was my biggest issue with it, but the service was good and she was friendly and did good work.
So again, don’t come here on a date if you aren’t wanting to play games after and don’t come here if you’re expecting something more than burgers and fries.

We went last Saturday. The food is delicious. The waitress we had was nice. We asked for a certain drink and the bartender made the drink wrong. So we requested another drink. She was supposed to bring us our drink and she never did. I will go back for the food but because of the bartender I wont ever go for drinks. And she was rude.

I’m not one for eating burgers but I have to say that I really enjoyed this! It may be because of the excellent customer service we received from our server Maria! We will come back just to sit at her table! Thank you Maria!

So we came here thinking it was going to be the jukebox music, staff singing usual olé Johnny Rockets. Wrong! Walking in I have to admit I was a little scared we had made a mistake. I read all the reviews and thought oh oh.
WARNING to parents: it’s next to the Barbie Dreamhouse Experience!
However the customer service/​server was friendly as could be. He came over a few times to make sure everything was good, was friendly with the kids and everything came out in a very reasonable time.
It was slow that evening we were there however I am not going to dock them for that. So if you go on a busy day/​night, take that into consideration on the timeframe as this is a tourist heavy area and I can see where it can get crazy.
4 stars for me; could use an update here/​there but honestly good experience.

Silly me. I actually expected my veggie burger to be edible.
The pale, limp patty literally tasted like it had been formed by wads of gum that they scraped off the bottom and the bar and from underneath the tables and chairs. Mr. Rocket really needs to get a new recipe.
Fries and shakes are good, though.

Good service, food is OK. Nice bar. I’ve had better food at different J-​Rocks.

Terrible experience. Took an hour and a half to get our food. Manager took forever to come to our table after telling the food server a few times we wanted to speak with a manager. The Oreo cookie shake was good but overall this has been one of my worst dining experiences and I eat out regularly.

We came here after watching a movie because a friend of ours had not eaten dinner. To my surprise they offer Sweet Potato fries now, but do not be fooled — these are the worst sweet potato fries I have ever eaten. Their consistency, flavor and color was off. I think they put sugar on them and they cost 4.15 for a pretty small plate.
Outrageous. Do not offer something, if you can’t do it well.
On the other hand our waiter Steve drew some neat faces on our ketchup plates. Cute touch, but I won’t be back.

On my visit to Johnny Rockets, I had a Bacon Cheddar Single Burger. My friend got the double version of the same burger. I have been to many burger joints but I have never been to Johnny Rockets. A friend of mine had told me that their burgers weren’t very good so I was not expecting much. Although the burger was not top of the line, it was fine plus they have sweet potatoes fries so that made me happy. My only real complaint about the burger was the thick piece of white iceberg lettuce in the burger which I had to take out.
The service was a little slow but I saw that only one waitress was trying to attend to several tables so it was not intentional but they should consider having more staff on hand at a given time.
The restaurant has a nice setup and although nothing stood out for me to really come back again, for those with kids it is a great place for a meal and entertainment for the entire family!
