Absolutely love to eat here. Delish food, friendly wait staff and affordable! Drunken goat salad, crawfish dip, meatloaf, Big Easy burger, apricot chipotle chicken, bourbon street chicken are what I’ve ordered from here and have been inarguably excellent. However, last visit we had calamari and it was just hard– not to be confused with crispy– but we still ate it all because the breading and peppers went well. I’ve never had to wait so that’s also a plus.

Just heard they closed down — and it’s obvious now that the last couple of weeks they just gave up. My personal experience is a prime example of how horrible service can totally ruin an experience. Even the solid food couldn’t get them more than 2 stars. I came in on the weekend and the place was empty! There was one other table, but that’s it. The place is lovely decorated — they have some super cool art on the walls, the bar has a nice set up and they write the specials on a chalk board wall. The service was borderline atrocious. This is what I mean they gave up. It’s like as if they weren’t even trying any more. Took forever to get the food(With only one other table there, it was crazy how long we waited). Then when we were ready to go, no one would come give us the check. Finally they did. Then they left… and literally never came back. I had to get up, take it to the owner/manager and they told me in a snarky way, «Have a seat, we will take it to you.» WHAT? What does that even mean? Well, it ends up they do all their transactions through SQUARE or some other app. Couple that rude attitude with a waitress that didn’t say a word to us, never checked in and literally put the plates down and walked away, the customer service here needed a major shot of adrenaline. I don’t think the server smiled. Not one. Crazy! The food was the only thing that saved them. Beautiful presentation on the dishes — I guess this could be an argument as to why it took so long, but it was still not warranted the long wait. The meatloaf was good — I’d even go and say it was really good. The mashed potatoes were a great side and the meat was great. Really liked it The wife had a veggie burger and she loved it. Sorry to see you go BASH, but I hope the service wasn’t your downfall and it was just towards the end that the staff gave up. I know the location was a little tricky. I always hate to see small businesses shut down.

During a random trip to the not always so exciting Coral Springs, I was pleasantly surprised by this hidden gym. The service was great and our server was very knowledgable about beer. The potatoes au gratin were very good and so was the hummus and pita bread. If you are a veggie lover definitely order the hummus! Unfortunately there was an issue with Bash’s liquor license so we could not enjoy a craft beer pairing with our meals. The staff assured us it was temporary and they would be pouring icy brews within the next day or so. From what we could see they had a decent selection of craft beer to choose from. I did enjoy the make shift candelabras made from Hunahpu bottles. I wish I could rate Bash with more stars, but our entrees were all over cooked, which I’m sure is only due to the fact we came in only an hour before the restaurant closed, kitchen fatigue. I strongly feel this is not a consistent reflection of Bash.

This hidden gem is out of this world!!! If you are a foodie this is a place you totally need to check out. We came here for my husbands birthday and it blew our minds. We started with the black truffle beggars purses and oh my so tasty. It was a nice light app so we weren’t full when it came to the main dish. My husband ordered the special surf and turf with divers scallops. Some of the biggest I have ever seen and cooked just right, came with a sirloin that was cooked to perfection. The vegetable of the day was sting beans and the other side he ordered was the macaroni and cheese which was the cheesiest and had the most delicious flavor ever served in a little soufflé bowl. I ordered the salmon that just melted in my mouth with the string beans and macaroni an cheese as well. I would go back just to order the mac n cheese, it is a must!!! We finished our meal with the mile high carrot cake and it is just that! So good I highly recommend it but it could be shared with the whole table it’s HUGE!!!

Stopped in for lunch today and once again, Bash didn’t disappoint! I got the Big Easy burger. EHMEHGERD!!! I’m not sure Big Easy is the correct name. BIG, yes! Easy, no. I could not get my huge hands around this beast and it barely fit in my humongous mouth. I am going to call, it the Break-unch-inner! It is a huge patty cooked to perfection, topped with bacon(YES I SAIDBACON), an egg, once again cooked to perfection, some kind of awesome gooey cheese, some fancy balsamic reduction(I don’t know what that means but it translates to YUMMY), lettuce, tomato and onion. So, I’m sure you see what I did there, bacon and eggs for breakfast, burger for lunch and a bun, the veggies and fries for dinner. OK, I’m an idiot, but the burger was awesome!!! I see other reviews about slow service. Don’t come here if you want the #1 super-sized. The place isn’t huge and I’m sure every bit of your meal is cooked to order. Me, I like it that way. If you need it real quick, there’s a McDonalds across the parking lot!

I was throughly unimpressed with Bash. We waited well over an hour for a table, so we were famished by the time we sat down. We asked for bread, and we got two slices that were cut in half, which came across as pretty stingy. Our waiter was pretty MIA the entire meal, and made some really questionable recommendations. My friend asked for a recommendation of a pasta dish, and he told her one which was supposedly«his favorite». After she finished, he asked her how the pasta was because, «he had never eaten it». Why would you recommend a dish you’ve never eaten? Overall, Bash was overpriced and underwhelming.

Service was abysmal, food lackluster. Our meal(very unnecessarily) took over 2 hours to complete, for 4 people. Waitress was snooty and inattentive. Took over 20 minutes and various requests to just get water, and even then they only brought 3 of the 4. They were not exceptionally busy nor understaffed. One newer waiter was very nice and attentive, but we had to flag him down after our waitress kept disappearing for 15 minutes at a time. Food was not great. Not bad, but not great. The apricot chili chicken was mostly bland, with an occasional flavorful bite. The tator tots, however, were very good. I fully accept they might have been just having an off night, as some of my companions eat here regularly and said this wasn’t common, but regardless I had a pretty poor experience here.

The food here is some of the best food in Fort Lauderdale. Anytime a friend visits me from up north, I take them to Bash. Last time we had the French onion and herb crusted salmon that was amazing. My friends from New York thought the dinner bread was like NYC bread, but at Bash it comes out warm with garlic olive oil. This time I got the portobello mushroom burger with Swiss cheese. The slight tartness of vinaigrette on top of the mushroom blends well with the onion, portobello, and Swiss. My friend had the truffle fries and they were quite tasty. You can smell the truffle when you walk in the restaurant. I highly recommend Bash.

I am SO happy Bash moved closer to me! Here’s the thing about this place: EVERYTHINGISGOOD! Here’s another thing, do not come here if dieting or attempting to eat healthy! This is the ultimate plate to indulge and have some amazing COMFORT food. Your best bet would be to share if you want to cut down on the calories. The sauces and dressings are scrumptious. Everything tends to be creamy, fried, or buttery enough to make you pause and exhale in delight. Here are some of the dishes I have ordered before that have been wonderful: Pulled Pork Sandwich Meatloaf Spinach Artichoke Dip Tomato Soup Fried Chicken Salad Louisiana Crawfish Dip(OMG!) Green Goddess Salad Lobster Po’ Boy Sliders Truffle Beggar’s Purses Short Ribs Homemade Hummus Drunken Goat Salad Mama’s Short Rib & Pappardelle Pasta Lobster Mac & Cheese Although I still visited often, I hated the old location. This new one is still in a strip mall, but at least it’s a better one this time around. It is more spacious inside and not as crowded as before. I still hate their chairs. It seems they are still using the ones from the old place. They are uncomfortable and just like the ones you find at any cafeteria. The restaurant look would change dramatically if they changed them. But I digress… Service and prices are good. Portions tend to be huge so take that into consideration when ordering. They carry a lot of craft beers on draft from places like Funky Buddha or Cigar City Brewing. They also have some interesting reds at some great prices. Lastly, I also love that they always have a nice variety of espressos available. Bash only takes reservations for parties of 5 or more. This can be tricky on the weekends so plan accordingly. Parking is easy and plentiful. I absolutely love having Bash in my neighborhood. It’s one of my go-to places that never lets me down. TIP: I find that following them on Facebook is best for up to date information on the events they often have.

Stopped in at Bash for dinner prior to a Panthers game at the BB&T Center. Greeted as soon as we entered and taken to a table by a window. Our server, Shawn, took our drink order and uopn returning explained the nightly specials. He brought out some warm bread for us to enjoy and we placed our orders. My wife has one of the specials, lobster fra diavlo, and I had a black and blue grilled chicken sandwich. The food was fantastic! The lobster fra diavlo was spicy and flavorful. The pieces of lobster were large and tender. My wife commented that there was more lobster than linguine! My sandwich was delicious too. The bread was crusty on the outside and the chicken was cooked well. The blackened seasoning had just the right amount of heat. Shawn was excellent as well. He was present but not obtrusive. After our meal he engaged us in conversation about the game we were attending. I highly recommend Bash and we will be returning!

I had such a lovely dining experience here. I came for a late lunch with my mother and we both ordered their special salad. Butternut squash with goat cheese, candied pecans, and maple balsamic dressing. Wow it was delicious. I ate the entire thing and it was a huge portion. The dressing was notable on its own. I could have used it on ice cream it was so good. My mother ordered the french onion soup. She liked it very much and the presentation was impressive. I ordered grilled chicken on my salad and it was cooked to perfection. The wait staff is all very nice and friendly. They also stock funky buddah drafts. I would definitely come back here. Also the bathrooms are very clean and in the ladies rooms they have some nice smelling hand lotions. Overall great menu, great experience!

I’ve been to Bash many times at both their old and new location. It’s a quaint, welcoming restaurant with a nice ambience… Although easy to miss! They have a great draft beer selection– they specialize in hard to find craft beers and do a damn good job at it. The service is always good– more like 4.5 stars for service! But that great service mixed with the inconsistency of the food is not good. I’ve tried everything from the burgers, pastas, chicken entrees with sides, and seafood specials. Some days the food is great, and some days it’s greasy, and tasteless. It’s gotten to the point where my husband and i will just go there for drinks if we’re in the mood for a good craft beer while staying in west broward, and head elsewhere for our meal. Too bad, because they have a lot of potential. They will probably always remain busy bc they are one of the only craft beer places in west broward(if not the only). Shape up your kitchen, Bash. We’re rooting for you.

Just attended the beer vs beer event and it was amazing!!! Chef Shannon created some signature dishes that were incredible and when paired with the beers from Cigar City and Funky Buddha, the culinary creations came to life! The food here is always A+. A special«hole in the wall» that is a neighborhood gem.

This is probably one of the best local craft beer & new american spots Ft. Lauderdale. From the great selection of rare 22oz bombers to their ever changing rotating draft selection, Bash has the right brew for any meal on the menu. Their food is awesome! One of my favorite appetizers has to be the Truffled Beggars Purses stuffed with pear, the perfect apéritif to soak up the goodness of the wonderful brews you’ll be experiencing. The Who Dat burger is killer and has house made Voodoo Sauce on it. There are always great specials & knowledgable staff. Portions are large & plenty satisfying, the ambiance is nice with a rotating gallery Bistro type feeling. The wife and I enjoy sitting at the bar having dinner & enjoying some of the best beer south florida has to offer. Bash kills it!

The food at BASH is a SMASH! Very creative menu which should please everyone in your party. Three people had the enormous portion of shortribs and they all raved, I had skewered shrimp blackened and it was delicious and two people had enormous salads which they said were too big and then devoured them. The service was averge at best, food was slow coming out and then ½ our party was served and the rest came out 15 minutes later-Sean the acting manager/matre de was profusely apologetic, said it was a kitchen snafu(I believed him) and comped dessert. We will definitely return because the food is outrageously good!

I have been eating here for a few years now. The new place isn’t much bigger but in a better plaza for sure. The food is very reasonably priced and good portions. Good wine and beer selection. The service had always been great. Mac n cheese is awesome.

I used to eat at Bash very often many years ago when two co-workers opened the previous location. This new location is absolutely beautiful. I think the new location is great for them, and I met the new owner, Kim, and she was so personable and pleasant. We listened to her engage with the employees, and my guest and I both commented on how nice she was, and how great it must be to work for her. We walked in at 4:15 for a very late lunch, and perhaps an adult beverage. We sat at the bar, and the bartender, Oliver, noticed me from the past location, although it had been quite sometime. He immediately told me that the kitchen had a very busy lunch and food was not available until 5pm. I looked at my guest and she shrugged and we decided we were fine waiting. While waiting we made small talk with Dave, who was a server who also worked at the old location. He was super nice and even offered to share his delicious chocolate covered pretzels with us. We engaged in small conversation about the art work around the restaurant, which you really have to get up and look at it all. Pretty cool stuff. We looked at the menu, and with it being so close to dinner, decided on an appetizer and an entrée. We got the hummus which was described as being served with vegetables and pita. My imagination, and prior dining experiences excited me as to the possibilities of fun vegetables to dip in their delicious hummus. It was served with carrots and celery, so my imagination got the best of me. My guest LOVED the carrots with it, and said it went so well… I was meanwhile dazing off to the dinner I had in a castle like pub in England a couple of years ago with the super colorful vegetable medley and hummus. I am sure if I requested it, they would have honored it. but who needs healthy vegetables when the pita bread is so good? The hummus was i my humble opinion, a bit on the pricey side… based on other menu items. I believe it was $ 10. A bit pricey when the entrée, was $ 16 and included two sides… but expensive appetizers aren’t a rare thing… I believe it’s done because of people like me and my friend, who share an appetizer and entrée, brings up the check average. Nonetheless, it was good hummus, but the price point is a bit steep. The entrée we shared was the Apricot Chipotle Chicken. It was a grilled piece of chicken brushed with a spicy/fruity glaze and topped with goat cheese. UMMMDELICIOUS. There were other things on the menu I wanted, but my date only ate chicken, so this seemed like a great selection. It definitely was. It was served with a grilled vegetable medley, which was plated under the chicken, and that was soooooo good. I wanted more! We opted for the Mac and Cheese. IMHO, it was ok, not bad, but nothing to write home about either… but I am partial to adding bacon or pancetta to oozingly wet mac and cheese and this was on the drier side, sans porky. ahhhh. how did I forget the beverages? Well, this place is known for their craft beers, and not being a craft beer person myself, I looked at the wine list. Nothing was on there that I was in the mood for. I was thinking a little New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc to go with the hummus and long day… but I did ask if they had any ciders. Oliver said they did, and that I would love it. I typically only drink about ¾ a bottle of cider… but this one was surely delicious. The color of it was really neat, too. It was so light… I loved it and had two. The friend had two glasses of wine as well, and enjoyed it. For two beers, two glasses of wine, and appetizer and entrée the bill was $ 62 before tip. I’m pushing 4.5 stars, and that’s only because the hummus was on the pricy side, but if it was served with some sliced peppers, cucumbers, or green beans, they could possibly charge $ 11 for it. Perception is everything. :) Definitely check it out. It’s a good feeling to put money into a family owned establishment.

Awesome meal! I must admit I was a little tipsy I stumbled to this place and ordered special of the day without asking, but the steak was awesome, and so the mac and choose! Mixed vegetable was also nicely done, not overcooked, just right. Servers were all nice and friendly, they didn’t chase us out even though we stayed a little behind the closing hour. I saw some comments about the pricing, but as I haven’t got good meals in S. FL for long time and this was such an eye opening experience, and justifiable.

Bash is not bashful using unusual combination of flavors. The daily ‘Specials’ are interesting. Save room for dessert(flour less chocolate cake my favorite). Wine and beer menu interesting, don’t hesitate to ask about selections. Previous restaurant location not very desirable, you also sat to close to each other.
