Well, it’s the last hur-rah this sess pool of blinking black boxes. Today, the prices were 10−30% off(laptops were ten, video games 30, TVs about 20). I did not think that the deals were really there yet, but it seems as though people are buying them. 40″ Sony LCD TVs are still there, but the 37″ ones are gone — about $ 875 each. You can still get a good LCD for under $ 1000, but you will have to hurry. As far as DVDs and CDs are concerned, if you like to collect them or want some other with the premium TV shows on DVD to put away from holiday presents, now would be the time to get some. Some good ones are about $ 14 with the discount for the full 1st season. Cameras and video cameras and pretty scarce, so I’d get on down there if you have a need here. Of course, you will have to bother with the whole«Store going out of business» scene.

No wonder this place is going bankrupt or being sold or whatever. I read in the paper that Circuit City just got destroyed by Best Buy. But after i went here to find a digital camera since mine was kept by the Ex, i realized they just crumbled in every area. The service was, well, there was no service no hellos or may i help you or anything. i would at least would of wanted them to tell me to F Off!!! At least that meant they noticed me. So i just kept looking at the cameras and the person who worked there looked at me and just walked off to text somone on phone. arrrgghhh. the love i feel sometimes.

One time I came here with a roommate to buy a laptop. This place looked like a ghost town. After circling the computer section for 15 minutes or so waiting for assistance, we started to walk around the store. The only employee we saw walking around the store was a chubby teenager whom immediately diverted his gaze as soon as he saw us, presumably to avoid having to do even the most remedial of CC functions. The girl at the counter was nice enough to yell at the rest of the employees, but this is definitely a place to avoid if you are looking to buy… um, anything.

Holy Crap what a disorganized place. Went in to pick up a DVD(one released two weeks ago, so nothing obscure, «indie», or anything that might require an online purchase) and left pissed off. Yes, I know that the layout of the store itself isn’t conducive to shopping. Circuit City(at this particular location) is only good to go to if you have a goal… something which I thought that I did. OK to the point — DVD/CD section = CLUSTER*UCK. Ridiculous. They have a small selection to begin with, but when absolutely nothing(and that’s not an exaggeration… CD’s were mixed inconspicuously with DVD’s) is where it should be, it’s ten times worse. I can’t believe I didn’t drive around the corner to Best Buy to begin with. Should have known better… Hope this saves someone the same agony.
