Recently I was in Sunset visiting my sister. She had not had the pleasure of experiencing Thai, Vietnamese or Korean cuisine. From Unilocal reviews, we started the gastronomic adventure with lunch at Pad Thai. After a pleasant meal, I inquired as to where I could locate an Asian grocery store. The lovely lady tending us directed us to Z World Express. It took a couple of passes up and down Main street looking at both ends of the RV lot we were directed to look for before spying the brick building with red white and blue sign. Not much to see from the outside, no hint that groceries are there, but on inside, jackpot! This place is packed floor to ceiling with tiny aisles you have to squeeze through. There is a nice representation of Thai, Vietnamese, Korean, and some Indian selections. There are several chest freezers filled with a plethora of frozen seafood. The back wall is a bank of coolers with a nice selection of fresh veggies, Fresh Phở Noodles, and other tasy treats. I picked up Tom Yum soup base, Masaman Curry Paste, coconut cream, Thai Tea, instant Phở broth, Mabo Tofu sauce and a nice selection of snacks. Prices are actually a little less than what I am used to paying in Seattle, another nice bonus. The owners were very engaging and very helpful. They directed us to Best Teriyaki for a Korean fix, which turned out to be spot on. Good service, excellent selection of foods, definitely a hidden gem
