Not the same Old Chicago since changing ownership. The quality and quantity of the food has changed. Pizza has less toppings and they are of poorer quality. Could get a nice healthy basket of French Fries and now it’s a flimsy 6oz serving at the same price.

Wow, just went into Old Chicago to grab a quick bite to eat while out shopping on Christmas Eve. The sign said open until 4PM with last call for alcohol at 3:15PM. The server greeted us and said it was last call. We asked about for food as we were hungry and the server told us the kitchen had closed before the bar. We left hungry. We called and spoke to the manager and he explained we could have ordered food until 4PM. He asked us to come back and I explained we were already at Panera. It’s a shame the server was not forthright with us.

I love Old Chicago. Great pizza, great beer, always consistent. It’s the customer service here that is awful. Called in an order. Ordered deep dish. Payed $ 30 for one large pizza. Get it home, its not deep dish. Call in to tell them about it and the girl that answered the phone argued with me about what I ordered. I asked to talk to the manager, told him the situation, and he said«what would you like me to do about it?» Absolutely nothing dude. I see from past reviews that this place has a horrible reputation for customer service. I won’t be back, and will steer people away from this location.

This review is based only on the unfriendly employees«greeting» me. How awesome to be greeted by three non-smiling hostesses. The other two seem to in the process of being trained by the other. The trainer is NOT a happy girl. She is constantly running her hands through her hair, which is just gross in a restaurant setting. I’m watching her roll her eyes at customers and frown. Based on this welcome alone I’m considering going home and cooking up some top ramen.

Let me tell you guys, the bacon fries are so good here and our server was awesome. He was not pushy or over the top annoying. Over all, it was a pleasant experience.

Staff was very nice, food wasnt. It was late at night close to closing so it was crowded. Food came out wrong, and cold.

Love the food at Old Chicago. Everything is made fresh in house and the presentation is always nice. The service however can sometimes be lacking even when they are not busy. It is typicallly very slow, but I’m usually not in a rush. I have worked in a restaurant for years and know that all ticket times should run under 20 minutes. Please amp up the service OC’s! The happier your customers are with the service, the more often they will return!

Had a horrible experience at this Old Chicago! Served chicken wings that showed up raw in the center. My server, Taylor, was very apologetic and grabbed the manager. She proceeded to tell me I was wrong as they deep fried and double baked the wings… Also stated it must be a vein… really, half the wing was pink! I know raw meat when I bite into it, my insides also knew it later in the day. She didn’t even bother to apologize just gave me a menu for another choice. Used to be a good place to eat, now not so good. Taylor is an excellent waitress, if I were her I’d find a better restaurant to work!

If I could give zero stars I would. Ordered a pretzel and a slider. Waited 45 minutes and did not get any food. Bar tender comped my beer. I would recommend staying away until they replace the management staff. Good luck if you decide to eat here.

We came here for lunch and sat for an hour before I went up to the bar and asked(who we now know is Darek) him to take our order. I asked, 10 minutes pass, nothing. We asked for the check and left. Only come if here if you have 3 hours to spare! SMH — ridic.

Come on man! This is a sports bar/pizza joint. And it does both at a very acceptable level of service and quality. Price point is better than most of the Louisville/Boulder places. Service is good and the folks are genuinely friendly. I live just outside Louisville and the location, current road construction aside, is most convenient.

Wait staff was good, very friendly. Food was great, I haven’t had thick pan style crust cooked so well in a really long time. The spicy fried pickles made for a great appetizer. My husband was a big fan of their beer selection.

Nice looking restaurant. I came with a group of people from my training class and sat in the bar. There was a good number of tables, many TV’s to see the playoff games going on, and it was quiet enough to carry on a conversation. The menu has a wide selection, but I went with the classic pizza, Chicago style. We also started with the pizza rolls. The rolls were alright, but I didn’t find them to be different than something I’ve made at home before. The pizza was also a little disappointing. It reminded me a lot of Pizza Hut. It was NOT traditional Chicago pizza at all. The reason for coming here though over Outback Steakhouse, which was closer to the hotel and the preference of a few in the group, was that they have many options of local beers on tap. I was able to try a handful of beers and the server gladly brough samples of each one before I grabbed a pint. There were some interesting fruit beers, some delicious stouts, and everything in between. If you’re looking for a place to go to get decent pizza at a reasonable price this is a good place. If you want to be wowed by anything, then this is not for you.

I prefer Anthony’s pizza but I didn’t feel like dealing with rush hour traffic so I headed to the Old Chicago in Superior for a pie. I had the Hawaiian pizza and it was okay. Besides the usual pineapple and ham they put red peppers and green onions on it. The combination of sweet and spicy was pretty good, the crust could have been cooked a little longer. The service was just ok and they weren’t that busy at the time. The chocolate chip cookie was good though. Overall there are lots of better pizza joints around but it is close and predictable.

Restaurant was nearly empty when we arrived, and they made us wait for 15 min before seating the two of us. A large group came in 15 min after us, and got their food first. The server is not friendly and we appear to be an inconvenience. Terrible terrible service. We just wanted a nice date night.

Had lunch here today, the grilled cheese with tomato soup dip, it looked like a five year old made it and it was warm to cold. My husband had the nachos, yuk! It was awful, had no flavor. My grandson had the kids cheese pizza, he ate it all; perhaps I should have the kids pizza should I ever decide to dine here again.

The service was terrible. We sat at a table in the bar area, but there were only 2 other tables of people in that area, so that shouldn’t be an excuse. Lots of small things like not bringing a straw when she said she’d go get one. We ordered salads and lunch pizzas, very simple orders. 30 minutes later we asked if we could have our salads early, she looked surprised and brought them right out. Either she totally forgot about them, or they serve them with the pizza, which I’ve never seen done. A few minutes later, barely having had a chance to start on the salads, our food comes out. Well, almost everyone’s meal come out. They bring me a sandwhich, even though I ordered a pizza. Another person explains they ordered ranch fries, and the waiter(not the person who took our order) tells us that isn’t on thier menu. Uh, why didn’t our waitress say anything when it was ordered? Anyways, so much time had passed we scarfed down our food and tried to get back to work before we were too late. Given the option, I won’t choose this place again.

Only a few folks in the bar at five pm… the beer was ok but then people started to arrive and I sat there for 40 minutes waiting to order. Eventually I got up and just left. Stupid. Awful bartender.

It’s a chain so I shouldn’t be so harsh on it. The menu selection has something for everyone: thin crust pizzas, their famous chicago style pizzas, appetizers of all sorts of fried goodness, as well as salads, sandwiches, and burgers. I got the malibu chicago pizza and it was pretty delicious. My only complain was that it was more like a PAN pizza than a true chicago style pizza… Call me a hefer but it needed a good 2 inches to it’s height to make it even comparable to Unos! There are plenty of seating and tvs here. My waitress was NOT good that night. She kept forgetting parts of our order, kept asking us the same question over and over again(do you need a box to go), and forgot what we ordered. She probably had a long day at work but it was really bad.

There’s nothing much to complain or rave about for Old Chicago. The pizza is not bad, for what it is, but why they are referring to it as Chicago-style pizza vexes me, except that it’s deep dish if you want. They do have a very good draft beer selection, but the prices on that draft beer selection? Not very good– Coors, Bud, etc. pints are $ 3.69, which is not impressive. They do have occasional specials for beer– when we were there they had Buffalo Gold pints for $ 2.69, which is pretty good. Old Chicago also has a twice-nightly happy hour, which depending on your location, can be very good. Some locations have great happy hour and others do not. Most, however, do have $ 2.69 pints and $ 2.69 mini-pizzas with one topping, which are not that mini,(6 inches). Unfortunately, the Greeley location has the beautiful thing known as Fat Tire Tuesday, where 25 oz fat tires are $ 2.5. That’s pretty incredible, but only at that location.
