This review is for the pharmacy. I cannot think of a better customer experience with the pharmacy team, most especially Leanne. Regardless of how busy they are, and that is quite often, they are always helpful, pleasant and consistently show enthusiasm for their work and customers. I hope Walgreens knows what a great pharmacy team they have.

Only here for pickup, drive thru is convenient. Other than that… questionable. I don’t even get my prescription(s) here, well not anymore.

This review is specifically for the photo department. The photo department manager, Shawna, refused to allow my wife and I to print our son’s photo at their store. I have documentation from the photographer stating that we paid for the photo and have rights to make prints, it’s generic documentation with the photographer’s studio name and the image of the photograph in the release. The department manager refused to allow our photo to be printed because there wasn’t a «signature» on the documentation even though the document clearly states that we were allowed to make prints. I will no longer take my photo print business to this location. The manager was being overly difficult and refused to work with us.

Such a ying and yang experience! So essentially my problem was that I had forgotten my prescription card there and talked to the bad Pharmacist. Avoid Bruce, I’m pretty sure that was his name, 50’s, gray hair, ask for LeAnne!!! He just could not locate my card and obviously had very little interest in helping me. He told me he would call me back about my card and I waited 3 days, didn’t hear from him. I called and got him again, he said he’d look, I was on hold for 15 min, called back and he said he couldn’t find it. I called the manager, she got someone else in the pharmacy who did find it. I said great I’ll get it today or tomorrow,(I live about 20 min away). I got there the next day, got him AGAIN-ugh, he said it was gone and that I should just call and get a new one. He said I could wait and get a $ 10 gift card. My baby was screaming and had a dirty diaper, my daughter needed a nap and was whining in front of several people. I had to wait another 10 min for him to get someone else to activate it. It was a nightmare. Several days later I received a typed noted signed by the angel pharmacist there, LeAnne, apologizing for the whole mess and my card!!! SO sweet and finally had my card returned.

This is like most other corner Walgreens except for one fact that I found out recently. Even though their hours are posted online and say that they are open til 10:00 p.m. on weeknights, I happened to stop there one night at 9:25 p.m. Half of their parking lot illumination was turned off. By the time I left the store, they had turned off their big, red WALGREENS signs. They were supposed to stay open for half an hour longer. I wonder, was the staff planning on leaving early that night?
